I called to inquire on if anyone was going to show and was told that another electrician was just finishing up a job and would be there soon. The electrician showed up about 30mins later. They started about 1:30 and were still there around 6:30 not finished. While trying to run wire from the attic they attempted to take paneling off of my wall to better get access to it. While he was on my ladder his foot slipped and cracked my paneling. My wife seen this happen. Granted he did apologize and stated if I had any issue the office would make it right by either replaceing the damaged paneling or covering the damages. They came back 2 days later and finished the install and left my area a mess. I brought the problems up with their office. The lady I spoke with stated she would get back with me after I sent pictures. The email I received basically stated that the electricians that were at my place lied. This is the email I received. ( After speaking with the electrician and our manager, it seems that he accidentally tripped over something in your hallway, which caused the panel to crack. He repaired it using silicone, and your wife said that it looked good & that you intended to replace it soon anyway. However, we understand that this is not an ideal situation, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regarding the dust left behind, we apologize for the oversight on our electrician's part. He did not have a vacuum in his vehicle and asked to borrow a broom and dustpan from your wife. She assured him that it was not a problem, and she would take care of it. He apologized and asked her if she was sure, and she confirmed it was. While this is not our normal protocol, we appreciate your understanding. If you want to be accused of making a side contract with the painter who doesn't speak English…read more(because we asked what time he would arrive), yelled at for pointing out that the paint wasn't matching (which it wasn't), and being accused of not abiding by the contract which doesn't state what Shannon Eicher claimed it did, then hire these people. Was told a "team" would come and we'd coordinate with them on room order for painting. One painter showed up and when asked when the team would arrive was told by Shannon we wouldn't like the quality of his other painters. Painter insisted on us moving all the furniture in every room on day 1 so he could trim. Painter was supposed to work Monday-Friday 8-5 per contract but showed up after 10 AM, took an hour lunch, and only worked until 6 to make up for the time twice. Was supposed to take 8-10 days. Paint store did sell the wrong finish to Shannon which delayed completion, however, painter was angry that Shannon wouldn't pay him extra and we were caught in the middle. How does the owner who supposedly has been in the business since he was age 15 and a professional painter not notice that they were using the wrong finish? Home was unlivable for 16 days. Painter didn't have supplies (drop cloths or painter's tape) which we had to purchase from Home Depot to protect the home. We deducted the amount from the final balance because painter failed to reimburse us as he said he would. During the final days when painter had used up our supplies, he used masking tape which was difficult for us to remove (he cleaned nothing). We took off 4 rooms of wall paper ourselves; he wanted us to purchase a steamer at Home Depot which we refused. We did this even though the contract stated the company would remove the paper as the painter would look at the wall, sigh and say in English, "More work" but would never get around to removing the paper. To avoid extending the pain of having to deal with this company we did it ourselves. No thanks from either Shannon or the painter; Shannon yelled that we weren't going to receive a discount which we never asked for. Shannon only came by twice, to pick up his cash payments, not to see how the project was going. After storming out of the house without providing a receipt he never came back. He claimed he had a cat allergy (then why did he take the job?), made an appointment to come but didn't show and then texted a week later that we should have given the final payment to the painter when he left. The paint wasn't dry and per the contract, the final walk through was to be arranged after the job was completed which hadn't occurred. Shannon sent the painter back two days later to obtain the balance. Shannon admitted he doesn't get a lot of referrals. No wonder!

Started to reassembly faucet. Laid kit out and found they left one of the 10 pieces of the kit OUT. Called local big box store that I ordered from - they have no kits in stock, nor do they carry any of the individual parts (especially the ONE gasket I needed). Trying to avoid calling a plumber for a fix I can handle, but did not want water off in home while another part was shipped. Called Northside Plumbing, explained situation (on morning of BLACK FRIDAY) and was told if I could make it before noon they had what I needed. I was there in 30 minutes and with help of the staff found part that was left out of my kit (very common part from very popular faucet maker) Thanks to their understanding and customer service, water was back on in my house an hour later. Another vendor quoted $250 for a 10' ceiling (which I would have done myself) and $350 for the extra 5 feet. Doolittle quoted $89 service call plus $40 for each 15 minutes - about an hour estimated, so about $250 for the total job. The job was completed in a flash and the total bill was $169. Workers (forgot their names!) were very professional and communicated with me the whole way. They took care to protect my wood flooring and assembled the fan (and extending rod) in crazy fast time. I highly recommend Doolittle as my experience was nothing short of extremely satisfying!
