"wonderful addition"

Beautiful venue. The views are magnificent. We came there for a mini vaca and had the best time relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. And for an added treat, they also have bikes there you can ride.

Pool and hot tub.

Triple S Ranch is one of the prettiest wedding venues I've seen! My brother and his wife picked a wonderful place to tie the knot! We spent the weekend at the ranch with friends and family and had the time of our lives! The cabins are adorable and surrounded by beautiful nature! The pool and hot tub are nice and were a great way to spend downtime. The wedding ceremony was set up under a giant tree, and it was such a gorgeous backdrop that provided wonderful shade! The town of Calistoga is adorable, and we had a great time exploring!

Triple S Ranch is the dreamiest property you could imagine. The barn (and second barn in progress) and the cabins have beautiful, authentic details that are so rustic and incredible. The ceremony tree speaks for itself and the property itself is magical and out of a fairytale. There is also a pool, hot tub, gym, and cabins for guests to say. The venue does not put restrictions on venues so you can save a lot of money by bringing in whoever you want. They also provide tables and chairs which is a huge money saver too! The venue is extremely expensive and you must rent it out for the entire weekend, however, you save in so many other areas that it ends up being more reasonable than it sounds. it helps to charge your guests to stay in the cabins (as a hotel would). Overall, it is such a blast to have everyone all in one place for the whole weekend. The owner, Derek, recently hired an employee, Christine, to be his communications liaison. She is your point person until day of and she is incredible. Some of the other reviews talk about poor communication but I think this issue is solved now and probably because of Christine! The venue is growing each year with new additions so having someone else to help manage it is crucial. I can't wait to see what it looks like a few years down the road. 10/10 would recommend. We hope to go back one day!

Solage Auberge Collection - Solbar Breakfast

Solage Auberge Collection

$$$$

My wife and I have a long-standing tradition of spending New Year's week here, and honestly, it's…read morewhere some of our favorite memories have been made. Solage is nestled right on the Silverado Trail in the heart of Calistoga, and the location is unbeatable--you're basically three minutes from downtown and a short, scenic drive from St. Helena and Yountville. The property itself is stunning. It's got that modern wine-country vibe with about 100 detached studios spread across 20-plus acres. When you're sitting in one of the natural hot spring pools or hitting the cold dips at the spa, it really does feel like world-class luxury. Between the mud slides, the gravity chairs, and the fitness classes, you can easily spend your whole trip without leaving the gates. The Food: Solbar is a must. We had the seven-course New Year's Eve prix fixe with wine pairings over numerous years, and each were equally unique and incredible. It's that perfect balance of farm-to-table "health" food and total comfort dishes. For something more low-key, Picobar by the pool has some of the best Baja-style tacos I've had in NorCal. Plus, the whole place is super dog-friendly, which is a huge win for us. The Experience & Pro-Tip: Definitely book through AmEx Platinum if you can. We used the Fine Hotels + Resorts program and snagged a $300 credit, a late 4 p.m. checkout, and an automatic upgrade. I will say, even "perfect" places have their off moments. This year, despite requesting a room close to the spa months in advance (and confirming twice), they initially tucked us away at the far edge of the property. I wasn't thrilled about hiking across 22 acres in my robe and sandals! I spoke with the front desk, and the concierge actually went back and reviewed my recorded calls to verify the request. They did move us about 30 minutes later to a spot half the distance away, though it lacked the private fenced patio and fireplace of our original booking. I was too tired to keep fighting it and just wanted to get to the spa, so I settled in. Despite that hiccup, the service and the atmosphere here remain some of the best in the world. It's not cheap, but for the memories and the access to Napa's best vineyards, it's worth it every time. Can't wait to be back next year.

Compared to Stanly, the rates for rooms were more expensive while I felt the Stanly offered a much better campus. Despite the comments about the campus, the food onsite was pretty good and the reviews will be posted in their respective pages. The room service could have been better as they missed delivery of the pre-ordered breakfast in the morning as the night shift didn't properly fill in the order request and didn't get placed, but the team quickly remedied the situation and delivered not too long after our original request time. The rooms were comfy with a good layout, but the garden out back were covered with fences and it didn't feel as freeing as Stanly Ranch's rooms where the back patio is uncovered. Overall, I'd visit Stanly or Auberge du Soleil when going back to the Napa area.

Located in the heart of Calistoga on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Cedar Street, Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery is part hotel, part restaurant and part brewery with the latter two being both indoors and outdoors. What brought a friend and I here for a weekend lunchtime meal was the fact that we were enjoying a nice early wine tasting in Calistoga and my friend who has been here before suggested we try out this place for our meal as they have enjoyed their time in the past. And how could they not, as the Calistoga Inn Restaurant has one of the most popular outdoor dining venues in the Napa Valley, thanks in large part to their huge outdoor patio that stretches along the aforementioned Napa River, complete with shady lush foliage, not to mention their well regarded micro-brewery, otherwise known as the Napa Valley Brewing Company that occupies the historic water tower that towers over the entire property. upon entry to their outdoor patio, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs welcomes diners. We managed to get lucky when their host, who also serves as one of their many servers, sat my dining mate and I at a table for four people that had plenty of sunshine overhead. The lunch menu at Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery is separated into categories including Starters, Starter Soups and Salads, Sandwiches, Lunch Plates, Pastas, Pizzas, Sides, and their Beverage menu including their award-winning beers, wines, mocktails, and cocktails. Although their pastas sounded so delicious our server David let us know that their Sandwiches were their most popular dish during the lunch hour, and their French Dip Sandwich made with thinly sliced ribeye, caramelized onions, truffle aioli, provolone cheese served on a house made French roll and served with a side of au jus dipping sauce and a side of garlic-cheese fries was one of their favorite sandwiches. I was sold and ordered that for my entrée. My dining mate ordered their Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was a deep fried breast basted in spicy special sauce, served with butter pickles, mayonnaise, coleslaw and instead of being served on their house made brioche bun, they asked for it to be served on their house-made focaccia, which usually comes with their turkey and brie sandwich along with a side garlic-cheese fries. To go with our meal I opted to drink their Como La Flor mocktail which was made with hibiscus syrup, water and lime juice after my first choice of their Black Swan cocktail was unavailable, while my dining mate ordered their Rombauer Chardonnay 2023 which is sourced from the Carneros region in Napa Valley. It wouldn't take too long for our meal to come out, and the team at the Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery were very accommodating of my dining mate's request to not be served their spicy dipping sauce that already came on their Nashville Fried Chicken sandwich as they came out with a variety of dipping sauce, including mayonnaise to be served with their sandwich and fries. My French Dip Sandwich was one of the tastiest that I have ever enjoyed as it came with plenty of provolone cheese and the au jus dipping sauce which sometimes can taste off-putting tasted just right this time. With our refreshing drinks in hand we had a wonderful time out their on their patio, which would get more crowded as the lunch hour wore on. And why wouldn't it? As the sun's rays would shine down upon us while we ate and drank. Our total bill was 87 dollars before gratuity and taxes were added in, which can be considered high, but for what we received, including extra food to take home for an additional meal, then I consider it well worth it. At Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery the food, service and atmosphere cannot be beat and with all the high-end wineries around the area, this restaurant and brewery is well worth a visit to get you back into the mood to wine taste once again!

I ordered the Napa Valley Breakfast which was a solid breakfast option, though the scrambled eggs and country-style hash browns were under-seasoned. The lunch menu starts at 11a so half of our party ordered breakfast and the other half ordered lunch. I can see how this is a great place to eat on the patio. Service was friendly and fast.

During that experience (which you can read about in my previous review - if interested), my wife and I had a grand experience with former Business Manager Emma, who administered the delicious tastings. Fast forward to the present, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of their finest red before finding lunch. Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon doing the swirl and sniff test (sounds dirty doesn't it?), I knew that we were in for a treat. Since we were both in dire need of a meal, we sadly could not continue the party. However, we will make a return visit in the near future to enjoy a full tasting experience!

Nice whirlpool on the deck which is nice at night. Inside the house you first notice all the artwork, pictures, and authentic collectibles. Little overwhelming on the eyes but amazing once you take a closer look. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities you need. Plenty of kitchenware to cook any meal. Big living area with a gas fireplace and a flat screen TV. Plenty of sitting area to relax at the end of a long day. Family size dining table that will sit 6 comfortably. Lovely, spacious bathroom Pro: very private, beautiful views, amazing artistry throughout the property, big kitchen and living area. Large master bedroom(no bath), fireplace, whirlpool, huge deck Cons: biggest con so pay attention. The 2nd bedroom although attached to the house you have to walk outside to get to it. Same goes for 2nd bathroom. Extremely creepy to think if you get up in the middle of the night you have to walk outside to get to the bathroom. Our guests elected to sleep on the futon in the main living room. If the guests opted to stay in that 2nd bedroom you wouldn't be able to lock the main house because you would be locking out your guests. I found this huge detail left out of the house description and was the only disappointment of the house. Families be ware. Just think if that was the room you opted to put your young children in for the night. All in all very satisfied with hacienda and would highly recommend it as long as your understand that 2nd bed room/bath situation. We felt bad for our guest that they would not comfortable enough to stay in the 2nd bedroom.
