Nice property. Very pricey for what it is. Disrespectful and dismissive ownership. From checking in, they seemed very unfriendly and combative. Though we clearly and correctly filled out the online reservation, when we checked in, they said our trailer (14' enclosed) would not fit and we would have to leave it across the street from the property. I had to beg to take it up to the site to unload. once we got to the site, we had plenty of room. We chose this campground because they said we could bring in a visitor or two (for additional $20 per person per day of course, just to visit. an extra $35/day if they were to stay). Then, an hour from when my 62 year old sister and her husband were to arrive, they send out a social media alert closing the property to all guests. So, instead of taking the high road and let an older couple come enjoy a campfire with their family, they play the over crowded pool card, which why would any adult want to get into a crowded pool with 80 kids. ? When I asked to speak with the owner, his reply was "so who thinks they are so special they need to speak with me?" Then he continued to with accusing me that I didn't do what he asked by parking my trailer across the street, which again, made no sense at all after seeing how much room the site had. After seeing this joker's replies to other poor reviews, I am sure he will blame me for everything as he has done in the past. This weekend my family and I decided to spend some time with nature. My aunt has a seasonal at this campground, and we got a cabin 622, which has a bunk room, a master bedroom, a full bathroom, a roll out bed from the couch, and a little kitchen and table on the inside. The outside includes a great deck with a nice glider, propane grill, fire pit, ramp to the deck, and charcoal grill, however the charcoal grill was missing a part to it so it couldn't be used. The accommodations were very nice and spacious compared to other cabins we have stayed at before. It was very clean too and smelled like cleaning products when we arrived. The check in process was seamless. This is a very nice campground, even during COVID with social distancing occurring. Although most activities aren't happening because of COVID, it is still a nice escape and you make the most of it. It is nice walking around the campground, making reservations for pool time and sitting around the campfire. Also, it was so nice to disconnect from Wifi and social media. They do have Wifi there, however, it is spotty, but I did not mind one bit turning off the cellular device. The pool is very nice and I like the tiki, palm tree theme. They are building a water park for kids, which should be complete soon. There are many activities for children. There is also a pond for catch and release fishing. read more

We are campers of 40 yrs who travel all over and have a good knowledge on how other camps are run. This was our First time at Triple R and I was somewhat disappointed. Camp ground is decent and the pool area and children play area were nice. My complaint is on all the fees. There are not many places to sit in the pool area but for 75 dollars you can rent an area to hang out next to the pool. Seems awfully expensive considering you can rent spots like this at other camp grounds for 25 dollars. My opinion. Then, I believe the fees they have in place for guests is ridiculous. We had two family members visit us for supper on two nights. They each paid $20 per day for two days to have dinner with us as they live close by. That's 80 dollars to sit at our rented picnic table? I realize they have these fees in place because they have a nice pool area and someone should pay to use this. I get it, there should be a cost if you're using that but just a guest for dinner I believe is ridiculous. Seems like a wrist band or something should be needed to use the pool etc and you would get those upon checking in. If guests want to use the pool etc then They could purchase a band to do so. otherwise not all guests are swimming etc. some guests just want to sit w a friend and have dinner and a fire. Just seems like a heavy charge considering. I also thought it seemed like some staff were very rude when asked questions and there is no gray area. It's their way or there's the highway. This unfriendly atmosphere is not what I call camping. Prolly not going back. No other camp ground I've been to in the past 40 yrs have these ridiculous high fees and rude staff. For those reading this, it's worth a visit if your not going to have guests, you have a way to get around as the camp ground is built into a hill and walking would be impossible to some, also if you're willing to race to the pool upon it opening so you get one of the few chairs they have and lastly make sure you bring coffee as they do not serve it. This is a family oriented campground, similar in feel to Jellystone but with less to do for older kids. They have a cute little water park but it's geared toward the under 8 age group; something I didn't realize when booking. They announce each AM that there's a height limit for that area. They have a well maintained pool and hot tub area but be ready for A LOT of people since the campground is so large and this is the one area for all to use. The out of water activities include a playground, shuffleboard, bean bags, Gaga ball, tether ball and a jump pad. There's also a "fishing pond" that claims to be well stocked but my kids didn't catch anything and we never saw anyone catch either. There are a few extra activities scattered on Saturdays, again geared toward the under 8 group (princess visit, lego building). They have bands on Saturday, located in front of the main activities area. That was probably an adult favorite as all the carts were lined up to watch while allowing their kids to run off to play within view. All in all the place is very clean and the staff was all super friendly. If my kids were younger we would probably return. read more

Great family campground with plenty to do for everyone. many activities with theme weekends. Has a pool, hot tub and kiddy pool with a new splash pad for the kids coming in 2020. Have a couple playgrounds and jump pad for kids and a food wagon on weekends. The owners are great and friendly and truly care about the campground and take care of the whole grounds. I like how the campground is quiet after 10 and the quiet hours are enforced. If your looking to party and be rowdy than this isn't the place for you. Probably why the other reviewers rated it so low. But if you want a truly family oriented campground with plenty to do for the kids, and some adult things in weekend nights than this place is for you read more

The one and only thing the owners are good at are taking your MONEY!! They make it very clear that they make more money from their weekenders than they do their seasonal campers. That they can run their campground without their seasonal campers, who are truly great people and don't deserved to be treated so badly!!! Along with that comes the rude and obnoxious attitude, mostly from the wife, that you should not have to deal with while spending time with your family. Terrible customer service. We've been a yearly visitor but won't be returning. With the unknown of COVID-19, we called to inquire about accommodations with cancellation policy. Per their policy, you need to give 30 days notice to receive a refund (minus $30) if renting a cabin. Given the unknown and ever changing policies, we were hoping they would lower it to 2 weeks as we are camping with multiple families. We wanted to camp but not if we weren't allowed to socialize. No budging in their part. Instead, they got nasty and rude saying it would be in our best interest if we don't return bc we don't understand how small family owned business work. We've dealt with negatively from them in past trips. They're sticklers for their rules but the nasty responses in trying times was the final straw. read more

This is probably one of the most boring camping locations I've ever stayed at. The sites are all extremely close with little to no privacy whatsoever. The activities they have are child based so people in the 16-19 age range will have absolutely nothing to do, they can't even drive a golf cart. Not even if you own the cart. Yes, I understand you need rules and regulations, but if a 17 year old can drive a CAR on these roads, they should also be allowed to drive a harmless golf cart. read more
