Stop 8 of 8 for Montana on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour Amazing Brewery Race 2025 - Montana Statie Champs! Ok, we're slow learners, obviously. "Open til 9pm" - so, why was 8pm stuck in my head? No idea, plenty of time... umm... oh yeah, Montana has that last pour by 8pm thing THAT'S where 8pm came into play! We stumbled in the door all giggles, almost completely blowing it on our last stop slotted official stop after driving across 3 states. Why... because we're OUTSIDE creating tongue on pole pics to honor the great Christmas movie on a "triple dog dare" Aaannnyyywwhhoo, we were able to squeeze in our last stamp, grab a couple of crowlers for the cooler & probably terrify the poor gal working who no doubt thought we were off our rockers. (Which will be proudly presented in Kels matching glassware) It was a great stop to end on, as it was one of the ones we were most excited for. (Hello annual Xmas eve movie marathon, now we have brew to pair!) A special thanks to the staff for being so incredibly kind and understanding, despite our weirdness!! read more

Solid beer, great location, the food truck park out front is really good. The people inside and the employees are extremely friendly and welcoming. The beer is really good except the IPA's they were a bit astringent and too bitter for me. The pumpkin ale, stout, seltzer, and scotch ale were all solid. I left reviews for all of the beer on Untapped. I'll be back when I visit for work, which will be at least once a quarter. read more

This is a small town and a great place to stop for a Beer. Food truck out front I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. It is okay but no flavor to brisket, needs to be smoked with seasoning. Tasted like plain ol' roast beef. Mac and cheese bland and lacks flavor. They would be better off using Kraft Mac and cheese. Hey let's get back to the beer. 6 or 8 flavors to chose from how can you go wrong. read more

Had to go 5 stars on this one. Cute venue, jaycelyn was super nice, approachable and attentive. 3 of their beers were really good. Dumpster Diver, Hillco, Aberdeen. Complimentary popcorn too. If you're driving on the Hi Line (Highway 2) and your wife is driving, "Havre" stop and buy you a beer at Triple Dog. Worth the stop. read more

Are you driving down Highway 2 headed to Glacier National Park or just passing through Havre? If so, the one place you NEED to visit is Triple Dog Brewery. Their beer is amazing and if you check out the plates in the parking lot the place is filled with weary travelers who appreciate a good craft beer. You don't have to be a beer geek to appreciate this place. The staff and patrons are all very friendly. And thanks to Montana's aggressive craft brewery laws, you're almost always guaranteed to have a crowd that isn't too drinky when you get there. Run, don't walk, to Triple Dog Brewery. We are doing the Montana Brewery Passport, visiting craft breweries around the state. We visited Triple Dog on a Friday late afternoon. We enjoyed their beer, especially the green tea golden ale and their Duck Face IPA. However, the 4 stars is due to the ambiance. That place is so loud and echoes so much that all we wanted to do is leave. Please, consider putting some softening, noise absorbing wall treatments up! read more

It's great to have a local brewery doing so well on the hi-line! The place is always packed and the beer is excellent. I like that they are always experimenting with new offerings and adjusting their old ones. If I were trying to nitpick I'd say the only downside of Triple Dog is that they're too popular! It can be hard to get a table and some nights are elbow room only crowded. As a small operation they'll also frequently run out of beer, but they seem to have it down now to where they won't have to close due for periods due to high demand. Hopefully they continue to be successful and it will allow them to expand. Check this place out! read more
