I waited several days and no call back, I call them again and they said they will call me back soon to schedule. One week later after still never calling me back, I call the Garage Door Guys and they installed a new operator for me and were great to deal with. I can't give Scofield a horrible rating because they never accepted my business, but I think this review and a 3/5 are a fair rating. I will also note I live in a house that needs all new windows and 2 new sliding glass doors, if I had had a good experience with this much smaller job I very likely would have given them that business as well. But now I know that, for whatever reason, they don't do what they say and they aren't diligent in communicating with customers. Hopefully they do better for future customers.

Very sad, I know this company when they were on East Ave, (Lyle) we did several business dealings with them. At home and our business. That said, it takes a lot to "ruffle my feathers" and I rarely write a complaint, I can't even recall When I did.if I did. This took a lot out of me to do this. Very disappointed. I wish Scofield Window and Door great business in the future but reading other reviews, I see this is not unusual. Follow-thru is extremely important. Get it together!

The sales guy made promises he didn't deliver. The door came with defective panels. The second door had 1 panel defective. Waiting on the third re-order without a promised date or even an idea as to when it will arrive. They charged me the full amount due upon installation of the second defective door panel AND they did not credit, as promised reimbursement, for the paint I had to purchase to fix the damage they did to my exterior trim on my new home. They are angry that I put the charge in dispute because I didn't want to pay the last installment for a product costing me over $7,000.00 that had a defect thus voiding any warranty!? All I get is unanswered emails to questions asking about delivery time frames to complete this job. When I did get an email it's because I contacted the garage door vendor direct. Highfield emailed to give me a load of BS about how they are a top company for 2025, (for which it isn't looking good for this year guys). They lied stating they reimbursed me for the paint, not true. They sent me a bogus invoice showing the credit but the charge was the full amount. They won't give me an update on when the panels will arrive and got angry that I called the CHI door company direct for help. Now the service manager is after the person who helped me at CHI stating they need to take a course in how to do their job. Ironic because she actually did her job, it's Highfield not doing their job. If Highfield would put as much energy in to doing the right thing by providing quality products and customer service we wouldn't be having this issue. I'm not in the business of taking off work every time I have to have this door done correctly. I'm owed compensation and Highfield is not delivering on anything. Surprise surprise.....I should have listened to the multitudes of people who warned me. Stellar business in 2025??? Whatever -
