I tried to find a cheaper part for my car but his prices were dead on to what I could have paid. The only downside was paying a diagnostic fee that wasn't added into the repair. I do have someone locally (Dunn, NC) that I use and he includes the fee into the service. Not sure how most other mechanics do their fees. Overall he finished the work within 2 hours and I was back on the road. He was polite and a pleasure to deal with. He didn't try to break our pockets either. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone.

A friend and co-worker recommended Todd to me after I told him my son's brakes on his 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid were very squeaky (a car that I've found mechanics in the past wont touch due to it being a older Hybrid), so I reached out via phone/text and told him what was wrong, he recommended I get brake pads and told me I could drop the car off and he'd get it done first thing in the morning; soon as he got it up, he had the brake pads done very quickly, sent me photos and videos of how bad my current brake pads were and sent me video of how bad my rear bearings were and walked me through the parts I needed to get and was able to get me in for an appt the very next morning. Once complete, he took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong and why it was so important to get it fixed asap. I let Todd know from the get go how little i knew about cars and he took the time to show me and explain everything to me in a way that made it easy for me to understand. I got there knowing I probably needed new brake pads, but Todd took the time to inspect everything while he was in there to make sure nothing else was wrong and my son got the car safely back on the road. Once we picked up the car, the squeaking of the brakes was gone and the loud noise which apparently was coming from his bearings/hubs being so rusted/fused together was now gone as well. Cant recommend Todd enough! Very knowledgeable, super thorough, and you can't beat his prices!

I can't express how great Todd was and how much I recommend him to everyone that has ANY car issue. There aren't many good mechanics, but Todd gives me faith that the AMAZING ones still exist! I came in with a shaking/misfire issue and instead of just throwing random parts at it, they spent the time to properly diagnose the problem. They recommended a carbon cleaning service for later on but made it clear there was no pressure at all. The owner even told me he'd rather spend extra time diagnosing the issue correctly than waste my money replacing unnecessary parts, which is hard to find nowadays. They told him the upper and lower control arms needed replacing which was going to be a $2700 job. We wanted to get a second opinion so we went to c-side auto repair. What's scary is that if we would've paid the money to get the control arms replaced my husband would still be driving on bad wheel bearings. It's unfortunate that Mavis would rather upcharge you for a job that doesn't even need to be done rather than worry about your safety and the safety of others on the road.
