They quoted me $630 for a basic transmission flush when the dealership quoted me $350 after taxes. That type of price gouging is ridiculous.

Before coming to the shop my only intention was to get my front left headlight replaced. After they…read moreexplained how much simpler it would be to replace both at the same time, I decided that it was a better option to do that. So, both headlights were replaced-which would've saved time on being in a shop. Before that, I kept going in, one after the other to replace. This makes much more sense. Also, there was an electrical issue I had been dealing with for the longest time in my Subaru, and for the first time, this specific shop did a diagnosis and predetermined what the problem could be! Amazing! I was at a complete loss before they had looked at it. Being that I decided to get an entirely new vehicle, I no longer required their services. But, I would've had the opportunity to have my electrical system fixed, for the first time while owning it. My air filter also felt to be cleaned out too! It smelled so much fresher after this visit. Being that all of this was done within just a couple of hours, no waiting period for "parts to come in" and an air conditioned room with Netflix to sit in? I'd recommend this spot every time. If you find yourself in a pinch or just wanting to work with authentically great people who put you first, this spot is the place for you. Great service, fast paced, great quality, and such amazingly friendly staff who are experienced and knowledgeable as well as understanding and open to helping you understand what's going on as well (and I'm speaking as I know absolutely nothing about cars). Great value/timely exceptional service.

I never left a review from an issue that happened last year. Went here to have an issue fixed with…read moremy son's car. They diagnosed it based on a code and attempted to fix it after we paid them $1900. Months later the car is still having the same issue that my college student son paid them $1900 to fix. So when he came back in town on break we took it over to them to let them know. Even though it was months later, my son only drove the car about 1000 miles since they "fixed" it because he doesn't drive it a lot at school. The owner Chase was pretty rude and told us that we shouldn't have come in months later even though I explained to him that my son lives 4 hours away couldn't come in sooner. My son also tried to take it to another Aamco close to him, who suggested he take it back to where it was worked on. When we brought the car back to Jacksonville they tried to the diagnose the car again which was now giving a different code. So he said because there is a different code, the car has another problem that's causing the issue and it has nothing to do with what they attempted to fix. It made no sense because why did we pay $1900 for you to fix the car based on a code you relied on and then the car is still having the same issue. How did you fix it if it's still having the same issue? Chase argued that they fixed the problem and it's a different part now causing the same issue. Chase even tried to insult me when I told him they ripped us off and my charged my son nearly 2k and the car is still fucked up. He told me I was not grateful that his mechanics worked hard for me to fix the car and told me to my face I was rude because I am basically insulting the knowledge of his staff. Which by the way I never once said anything about his mechanics. Chase tried to be a smart ass and told me to take the car to Ford and they would tell me the exact same thing and that the work he and his staff did has nothing to do with the ongoing issue. Well guess what, we took our happy asses to Ford and they told us the part that Aamco put on the car was an incorrect part and could not be used with the vehicle. We go back to Aamco and tell Chase and he of course was all in shock and couldn't believe it. He then still wants to fix the car and I told him hell no. I don't trust him at all and demanded a refund. We came to an agreement to have the car fixed at Ford and Chase paid for it. I'm sure he may have lost money but oh well. Next time rather than argue, be rude and insult customers, how about do more research and listen. And yes I was rude right back because I was not about to let this dude rip my kid off and talk me like I was a dumb ass just because I'm a woman. I will never ever use this company again and I've let others know as well.

We originally brought the car there to have a serpetine belt put on for $200, but then he said we need a power steering pump. I said Ok, and he said other things are wrong, so we should have a diagnostic test. The crook, Sean, that runs the shop charged us a $180 dollar diagnosic fee, which was fine, except all he diagnosed were dirty cone filters and a lose charge pipe, both of which I already knew of, so he made a ten second observation for $180 and then charged us $200 more to clean the cone filters and put on and tighten the loose charge pipe, so a $380 rip off. He then ran the bill up to $1150 dollars, and told me they had test driven the car for five miles and it ran with no engine lights popping on, which was obviously a lie. But he then tried to charge me another $180 for another diagnostic test to be performed before we picked the car up in a couple hours. I told him I had already paid for a diagnostic test, so why would I pay for another, but he said that the first dianostic test was for the dirty cones and loose charge pipe. This is a crook. The car went into limp mode less than a mile away from his shop. We put a FIXD scanner on the car after we limped it home, and nineteen codes came up. Great job, Sean. You are a master mechanic. And they kept my car for a month, during which they killed my battery, so I had to buy a new battery too. Can you imagine how angry I am after paying this illiterate $1150 and trying to be his customer. Beware of this garage.
