I recently had the opportunity to tour the Trinity River Distillery, and it was a delightful experience The exterior has some neat murals, and an inviting patio. The day we visited there were food trucks and other events. They also had live music on the patio They offer tours of the distillery, which I would very much recommend. You can purchase tickets online. While you wait in their cozy lounge area, go up to the bar and try one of their signature (or classic) cocktails. The cocktails at the bar are tasty and fun. The gin is their best seller, and it was honestly my favorite. I would also recommend their old fashion The tour was very interesting. You start in a large drinking hall where everyone has covered tasting samples. Each sample has information provided, and there is plenty of water to keep you hydrated and to cleanse the palate. The tour guide walks you through the tastings, and provides some history and other information. When we went we tasted their vodka, 1800s Bourbon, honey whiskey, their gin, and another whiskey. After the tasting you walk through the distillery and get a tour of where the magic happens (stills, filtration, labs, storage, etc). The operation is truly incredible, and the tour offers a variety of great picture-taking moments with beautiful pieces of equipment, walls lined with wooden barrels, and neon novelty signs Some tips: They frequently do events, and you can see their schedule online. They had a Father's Day promo code when we went that got Dad's in for free. They also had a cigar vendor and lounge that gave away cigars to dads. It was pouring rain when we arrived, the walk from the parking lot to the front door isn't covered, so, plan accordingly. If you do a tour and have a designated driver they don't have to pay, but they will have to sit at a separate table during the tasting portion Cheers!!

Great Energy from the staff! Learned so much on our tour! Very informative! Everyone was so friendly and amazing! I will definitely be back and will be recommending this distillery to others!!!

We almost didn't go, because this cool little spot is a little hidden in what looks like an industrial area, but I'm so glad we did. The tasting room is modern and inviting and the outside space is like a little oasis tucked away between industrial area and freeway, but in a way where you forget that surrounding. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful and the drinks were great and decently priced. I tried a smoked Old Fashioned a Bootlegger and really enjoyed both. Absolutely recommend it!

We did a tour & tasting as a family for a birthday with Connor who was amazing! We enjoyed the tasting with tips and tricks from him and got to do a cool walking tour after. At the bar, all of the different drinks we got were great! I highly recommend checking this place out.

Sorry this took me some months to write. Life moves so fast. So we had our wedding here back in March. We decided to hire Shaun to help coordinate the wedding and make sure everything was smooth sailing. Y'all, we had a fabulous time. Shaun and everybody where phenomenal, couldn't have asked for better. Shaun coordinated with everybody and took care of absolutely everything. Of course things go wrong at weddings and Shaun didn't break a sweat. Oh you forgot your song to walk down the isle too, (we really did) he handled it within seconds. We had fabulous bartenders and workers. Everybody was having such a great time. I honestly wish time would have slowed down just a little bit. Y'all really made that night just that much more special, especially Shaun. Shaun, thank you again for everything. You really ran that show so well and handled everything behind the scenes so effortlessly!! I had no idea there where even problems, We really got to relax and enjoy. Thank you Shaun and everybody at the distillery

It won't let me put 10 stars but that's what this distillery deserves. This was a late birthday gift, since I've never experienced a tasting and tour of a distillery. Our tour guide Connor was excellent. He showed us how to really appreciate and enjoy the tastings and gave us an in depth great tour. He also recommended a drink, based off what we liked the most. Order the smoked old fashion with bourbon and you won't regret a single drop. The atmosphere was wonderful and our 1 hour birthday gift turned into 5 hours of fun, thanks to the people we met and the bartenders who took great care of us. Thank you Sean for putting up with us, taking music suggestions and keeping those drinks coming .

Across from Wild Acre Brewery in the same area. Upscale but still very down home and comfy. Drinks will set you back at $12 each, but this ain't beer brother...and this high-maintenance chick was happy. Bluebonnet and whiskey crush cocktails were delish. Fresh blueberries smashed into the drinks. Saturday at 1 was busy but the bar service was very attentive. We didn't do the tour. Just came by at a whim. Large, comfy couches, pool table, outdoor area and air conditioned inside. Very dog friendly! This is worth visiting. We loved it.

This was a fun location for a small birthday celebration. We had a group of 9 for a tour and tasting, then hung out in the bar enjoying drinks. They allowed me to bring in a charcuterie board and cookies which was the perfect complement to our delicious drinks. The bartenders were efficient and friendly. My favorite drinks were the flight of margaritas.

We bought our tickets to the event when we arrived. Tickets for tours are also available. After walking through the store and the rows of wooden barrels from floor to ceiling, you find yourself in a small area with a big bar. The event price includes one cocktail of your choice. I chose the Oh Peachy and later purchased a pecan old-fashioned; both were delicious! Unfortunately, the food truck broke down, so there was no food available!! Big Mike was performing in the big lodge room; the acoustics are pretty bad, especially once people start talking, but at least it was cool in there, We spent a lot of time in the store and ended up purchasing a fused bottle of whiskey to split. It was fun, deciding which cork stopper to get to add to my daughter's collection. The store has different sizes and shapes of a wooden court display boards; in the shape of Texas. The premise of the event was super engaging. We got to mingle with suspects, search for clues, and try to figure out "whodunnit" while exploring the venue. One of the best parts about Thompson's is the venue itself. The experience spans across all four distinct floors (from the main speakeasy level up to the cigar lounge), and each floor has its own unique vibe and personality that made hunting for clues even more entertaining. As for the drinks, the whiskey sour was top-notch. It hit the spot while we were busy playing detective. The bar was kept fairly clean throughout the night. The employees were super friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly despite the event crowd. We were able to grab some street parking nearby, but if you can't find a spot right out front, there are plenty of paid parking lots in the immediate area. I highly recommend keeping an eye out for their special events!

First, the air conditioning situation was unacceptable. While setting up earlier in the day, all the AC units were functioning fine. But by the time our event started at 5:45 p.m., the venue started getting noticeably warmer. By 7:30 p.m., it was unbearably hot. We realized that only two of the AC units were actually running, despite there being multiple units around the venue, each controlled by 4 different remotes. No matter what we tried, the remotes would not turn the other units on. On top of that, two of the AC unit/fans were leaking, which our guests complained about throughout the evening. There were PUDDLES of water everywhere by the end of the night. We attempted to contact the owner, Monica, multiple times, and she finally responded after several attempts--far too late to resolve the issue. The heat got so bad that guests were leaving the venue to cool off in their cars before trying to come back in. Many left by 10 p.m., unable to enjoy the event. I was incredibly embarrassed. I spent a lot of money on this venue expecting my guests to have a good time, and they did not. Second, the bartender situation was completely unprofessional. We hired the bartender through the venue, and later found out she's related to the owner (which would've been fine--if she had done her job). My guests told me she disappeared for almost an hour, and one of my own guests had to step behind the bar and serve drinks. I later found out the bartender was outside "taking a break" because it was too hot. A 15-minute break is one thing, but vanishing for an hour while getting paid hourly is absolutely ridiculous. To top it off, here's a helpful tip: if you rent this venue, bring your own trash bags--even if you've paid a cleaning fee. Apparently, that doesn't include basic supplies. Bottom line: This place is not worth the money, time, or stress. Poor climate control, poor communication, and poor staffing made for a miserable night. I will never return, and I do not recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event.

First, this is not an all-inclusive venue. Many items are charged separately, including linens, use of the TV, AV equipment, and even certain rooms like the back room. These additional costs can add up quickly, so I recommend asking for a full breakdown of fees in advance. I also want to mention the policy regarding security officers. When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Overall, the space itself is nice, but I strongly recommend getting clear, written confirmation of all fees, policies, and requirements before booking to avoid surprises.
