The staff here is wonderful don't get me wrong everyone was so nice when I did bring my pets in, but I'm frustrated! Last May I brought my cat in for a sick exam she was rapidly losing weight and vomiting, they did blood work on her and said she was healthy they didn't know what was wrong with her, and changed her diet. Fast forward to last week I couldn't get an appointment so I asked for records and went elsewhere cause she was sick again. I am not medically trained but looking in her records I could tell she wasn't healthy like what they had been telling me. I had to put her down yesterday.... She had advanced diabetes, kidney disease and her heart was failing. This doesn't happen overnight, I could have been treating this to make her more comfortable or possibly extend her life a little more, due to their negligence I lost my best friend. read more

We have been going to Trinity Oaks for about two years. The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Griffin has been excellent with our Lucy's skin allergies, and dental cleanings. Upfront with options and explains procedures and cost so we can make educated decisions. Dr. Trakas has also been very helpful in her diagnosis and treatment of our Lucy. We recently got a new puppy Cira. She has a small nasal passage (typical of Boston Terrier) and will need to have her nose holes enlarged so she can breath better. Dr. Griffin was very helpful and provided benefit and cost for the procedure. We did not feel pressured and we were able to make a decision that was best for our Cira's wellbeing. Dr. Griffin and Trakas are warm and caring professionals. You can tell they care about the animals they treat as they both go over and beyond for their patients. The staff is always happy and friendly. We always get a warm greeting when we come in or call to ask a question over the phone. During Covid the staff are taking the recommended precautions with social distancing, masks and minimal people in waiting room (you can sit in your car and they will come out to get your fur baby). read more

If I could give a zero star I would. I took my dog in because of swelling of his face and they said it was a allergic reaction made me spend $200 in medicine. Called them them 3 days later and said it has gotten worse his eye is now sealed shut they told me I need to go see a specialist and it must not be a allergic reaction. So basically just stole money and diagnosed my dog wrong and caused my dog/child to continue to suffer. You are the doctor how do you blame me for your miss diagnosing. They keep excellent track of our dog's Rx and vaccination records. They send a friendly reminder email when they are due. They will clean their ears, clip their nails, and catch their pee (outside in their fenced backyard)! They will hold, snuggle, and swoon over them to win your dog's affection. Interested in a holistic approach? Pharmaceuticals are not always the answer. Referrals for physical therapy, acupuncture, or a non-medical approach based on the needs of your pet or your ( the pet parent's preference) are available. Have you heard of laser treatment for treating pain for your pet? I have geriatric puppers, a geriatric cat, and a spunky teenage pup; I know the Dr's are going to recommend the best intervention based on the dog's needs. You can ask them anything; they will treat behavior issues as well. They have an online pharmacy and any special diets or supplements you need. This is a one-stop shop; you won't be disappointed. Searched internet and found her here. The staff was very welcoming and responsive. Dr Trakas is so good with pets and very kind, caring and gentle. Dr Griffin is a shady and awful vet with zero compassion. All she cares about his the pocket book. She told me surrender my animal during covid during financial stress, telling me my pet had zero chance of surviving till some wealthy donor came forward and offered to pay bills. Suddenly my pet didn't have to be put to sleep any longer and had a chance. I dont recommend this vet whatsoever. read more

Dr. Watson is a disappointing business person. She may be a good vet but she loses track of conversations she had with me and commitments she made. Essentially she called me a liar so as a matter of principle we won't go back and recommend her services. I've read some reviews on her staff that were not professional and I would agree. We are from North Alabama and our 13 lb Maltese who is my baby was in a lot of pain and we didn't know why. WE took him to a Emergency Vet Clinic and left with no answers. We called our vet whom we trust back home and she immediately called Dr Watson as they went to school together and she stayed open for us to bring our baby too her. She was amazing knew immediately what was wrong and began his treatment. This is an amazing Dr as well as staff and we can not thank them enough for all they did and are continuing to do for our baby Turbo!! I would give them 10 stars if it would let me. read more

If I could give Dr. Watson a negative star, I would. I brought my dog to her for chronic coughing. She diagnosed him with "chronic bronchitis", which then led her to prescribe him 5 different types of medication, 1 of them being prednisone. I called to question the dosage multiple times for the steroids, asked to run tests, and she continued to shut me down and tell me not to worry about it and had me keep him on an extremely high dosage for over a month. Long story short, my dog now has diabetes, FOREVER, because of her negligence. When I brought him in because he was peeing every 10 minutes, she tested his blood and then says "That's what I was afraid of, he has diabetes." "The steroids put him into a diabetic state". "That's medicine". Ok, thanks, now my dog has a lifelong disease that has a million other different problems that go along with it because she was CARELESS. To this day, she has not taken any accountability for what she has done to my dog. Needless to say, I've found another vet that is trying to fix the damage that she has done. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Watson to ANYONE. She has destroyed my dog. read more

I've never been more disgusted in a receptionists attitude towards pet care in a veterinary clinic. I took my baby here once. She got an injection for pain and is a high allergy dog with injections, meaning face swelling and difficulty breathing. Two hours after the appointment her eye got puffy and I took her back in and they gave her Benadryl and the swelling was gone in about 10 minutes. They sent this same medicine in oral form home. The next day I call the office questioning giving her this medicine since she had a reaction the other day. The receptionist tells me, without asking the dr, to give it to her because in her opinion my dog didn't have a reaction. I answered that her face swelled up and Benadryl immediately took care of it. She told me it was from stress. My dog was asleep on the couch. How much stress could she be in? I hung up the phone, appalled at her disagreement with the allergy. Especially since the dr said that's what it was. Clearly, a receptionist with no veterinary training knows better than the doctor. A few days, my other dog was exhibiting signs of vomiting and diarrhea. I called the office asking what to do. The receptionist (same one) said to withhold food and water for 24 hours. I asked from the time she got sick or from the last time she ate which was 18 hours ago. The response was "it doesn't matter". I feel like it does matter. There's a big difference between going 24 hours without food and going 42 hours. She then said I could make an appointment for Monday or Tuesday if I wanted to (it was Saturday and they wanted mostly to go home). So then I said, so I should let her continue to have these symptoms and wait 48-72 hours?? She said "well you could take her to emergency care if you're concerned". In my mind I'm thinking "obviously I'm concerned if I'm calling you". But they closed in 30 minutes, so, you know, priorities. At this point I asked if she was a dr or vet tech. The response was "no, I'm a receptionist". I then was very point blank about her incompetence at dispensing medical advice. The funny part is they actually sent a letter to me because they thought I was rude. Like they actually thought I would return to this place?! My pets care is number one. read more
