THIS PLACE LIBERALLY SAVED MY RELATIONSHIP!! Remmy was a surprise rescue. My boyfriend Brandon noticed him in a day laborer's trailer and the pup was very emaciated, covered in fleas and eating his own poop. He gave the guy some beer and came home with a hyper pitbull puppy with a poor relationship with food and no potty manners. We both worked long hours and had to crate him for up to 9 hours a day; puppies need to potty every 2-3hrs. Needless to say, we were constantly coming home to a puppy that wanted another 9 hours of playtime, poopy crates and an existing hound dog who was not happy about not being an only child anymore. We were so tired by night's end, Brandon and I barely had said 4 words to each other all day; we were not sure we could keep him Remmy. Cue K9 Adventures, suggested by our vet. He gets the 9 hours of play he needs, he is being social (so important for pits AND his relationship with our hound dog is better since he actually knows how to play without nipping now) and he comes home a perfect, well behaved little gentleman. Despite spending his first months without food, they taught him to sit for meals, something we hadn't taught him but now enforce.This doesn't even account for the kindness and knowledge of the staff who knows my car and Brandon's car in the parking lot and the wonderful owner who has worked with us during financial hardships. I drop Remmy off by just opening the door because he is racing to get to staff members who sit and lay on the floor to just greet my dog. I don't even get on the floor to greet my dogs. He has puppy friends and he is easy to take care of at home. If you're struggling with your relationship with your dog or just want quality care, I could not recommend this place enough. We looked at other places and they were crate based with staff members in perfect, non-messy uniforms; cleanliness is impossible if you're giving dogs love and constant attention. During orientation, was not allowed to see where my dog would board. First concern but I read good reviews so thought we would give it a try. When I picked my dog up after a few nights of boarding, he had the skin of his nose scraped off and a bad cough. When I asked about it, staff members said it was the first time they saw the condition of his nose and the first time they heard him cough. They said his nose was probably from trying to get out and nudging at the door a lot. It looks like teeth scrapes from another dog. They were so dismissive of my concern. Beware of this boarding facility. I boarded my dog for a week and requested a bath and nail trimming. When I picked my dog up she had lacerations under her armpits and across her chest from wearing her harness the entire week. No one for a whole week looked at her skin, bathed or took that harness off her. Had the bath I requested been done, they would have seen the bleeding wounds on her skin. I called and spoke with owner to question why my dog was neglected and she stated they were changing their polices to ensure dogs don't fight. No where on the website, paperwork I filled out, or on the signs on the door does it state this "policy". Her harness was covered in dried blood when I removed it. I told her no animal should be treated this way. The owner offered a refund and to pay for the emergency vet bill but we have not yet seen any refund she promised and a month has passed. I will never again send my dog there. I'm heartbroken that my dog endured this neglect. read more

Do *NOT* take your pup for overnight stay We brought our pup down to Trinity to visit our family so that we could take her for an outing every day. Luckily we did see her everyday because one day she was in a state that we've never seen before. She was yelping, drooling and running in circles. After questioning the staff no one knew if she received her meds. We waited on site while the morning shift was contacted to verify, but no one knew. Needless to say we took what was left of the meds and had to have a prescription called in for replacement. Also no one stays overnight at this location. read more

So hubby and I were going away to New Orleans for a long weekend. We have a nine month old golden doodle named Riley. She's never been boarded. Usually my youngest son Josh would be here to watch her however he is off and up in Canada for his second season playing hockey. Checked out a bunch of kennels and this was on route/very convenient to the airport. What I liked about the place was it's extremely clean and there are plenty of staff overseeing the dogs. I wasn't keen on the idea of doing the traditional boarding where she's locked up in a 4 x 4 kennel only taken out to use the bathroom a few times a day and be walked etc. She's very playful and needs space to run so it was an open daycare doggy camp during the day so she was not cooped up. She was somewhat intimidated by the larger dogs even though she is growing big and they made the decision to put her into the smaller play area with smaller dogs where she did very well. They have multiple activities for example between 10 AM and noon the dogs could play in the pet pools. What I particularly liked about this place is they required her to come in for a five hour orientation to make certain that she would behave in place safely and well with the other dogs. That tells me they won't just take anyone's dog. Also they required before she could even come in for orientation records of all her current shots that she's up-to-date. Just another couple things that stood out to me was that they wanted to know things like can she eat around other dogs or is it best to feed her when she's by herself etc. etc. They provided pet beds toys and I brought a couple things from home ie food and her own bowl. Just for her sake they were in contact with me when I call and leave messages while I was away checking in and sent me updates with photos. They also post things on Facebook showing the dogs on a daily. I highly recommend this. read more

Beware of this place! They don't care about your pet, they only care about the headcount ($$$$). I unfortunately learned the hard way. I moved here from out of state and checked out a few places. When I came for my meet and greet I couldn't come in with my dogs to check out the facility and nothing was explained. Is there a reason potential new clients can't see the inside? I didn't think about it at the time, but now I am aware of the horrid conditions of the inside and the mass quantity of dogs inside left by themselves for hours on end. Forgotten by staff. I was told very abruptly to stay away from the yard and to go away so that I wasn't a distraction. This was the first red flag. I was lured in by the big outdoor area and pools. 10 days into them starting here I noticed one of my dogs was losing weight so I checked with the staff to see if they were getting fed during the day and they were not even though I had requested it and brought food for them. I was told daycare dogs don't get fed, just the boarding dogs. Upon weighing my dog she had lost 5 pounds in 10 days. She is not a big dog, this is a lot of weight. Upon discussing my concerns with the owner she apologized and stated this would never happen again. Two days later it happened again. Dogs not getting fed. I called the owner and never heard back or was acknowledged. Strike 2! In the 3 weeks since starting I noticed a lot of new staff in the "yard". No one ever knew me or who my pets were. A few times I witnessed yelling in the yard by staff when the dogs would charge at the only exit gate back inside. One staff member never engaged with any of the dogs while she was outside with them. Strike 3! The final straw was when I was dropping my dogs off in the morning. There was no staff around to get the dogs. The older man who maintains the "yard" finally came out. He came to the wrong side of the car so I couldn't grab the leashes to pass to him. He opens the door and both dogs bolt!! He had no idea what he was doing and did not have control of the dogs. Thankfully they didn't get hit by a car or take off running. He never apologized just secured the dogs and went inside. The next morning I brought the dogs to the door and was greeted by the owner. When I mentioned what happened to the owner she didn't acknowledge or apologize. Final strike! These dogs are not just things to us, they are our kids. We expect our dogs to be taken care and not have to worry about them ever! Would you take your human kids to a daycare facility who didn't feed them and never knew who they were or gave them love and attention? Not this place. The owner only cares about how much money she makes. Way too many dogs to manage and staff is poorly trained. To top it all off when I told a staff member the day I picked the dogs up that I would not be returning she agreed with me and stated we have been trying to talk to the owner about changing things to make things better and it's like talking to a brick wall. This person also said that at least on the days that she is working my dogs get love and attention. Does that mean they don't otherwise? This place needs to be investigated! Smoke and mirrors. There is a lot going on behind closed doors that us unsuspecting owners know nothing about! Beware and remember your pups deserve better! There are better options out there with daycare owners who truly love your pups. Shame on you K9 Adventures for putting your own interest above the welfare of pets entrusted in your care. read more

We love K9 Adventures for our super energetic lab/pitt mix, Windu. We've tried other doggy daycare and he usually pulls away from the attendants and tries to run back to me as I'm leaving. But now he runs to the door every morning hoping I'll take him and starts wagging his tail before we're in the parking lot. All of the staff that I've met are super friendly. We have been taking our golden retriever here for a few weeks now on days when we'll be working late and it has been nothing short of wonderful! We love taking Jozi here! She gets so exited when we pull in - she can hardly wait to see her furriends! We started taking her when she was pretty young and she's super socialized now. We knew from the second we walked in and we were greeted by several employees who took an immediate interest in our pups. They gave us a tour, answered all of our questions, and put all of our fears to rest. They sent us pictures throughout our vacation (and our dogs were happy) and welcomed my phone calls. Parasites, giardia and bad customer service. Super disappointed. My dog liked this place, staff was nice. A couple of months ago, he got a bad infection, 2 different types of bacteria, worms and giardia. Since this is the only place he goes besides our yard, we are pretty sure this is where he got it. The owner was very cooperative upfront, said she would pay the couple of vet bills we incurred. She never did, and is now not returning my phone calls or my vets'. I would have honestly chalked it up to a mishap and moved on, but the owner's complete refusal to take care of it shows very bad faith and atrocious customer service in my onion, and makes me wonder how safe my dog would be there. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is I would like to see the addition of cameras so owners can check in on their pups when they are at play or in a kennel for extended stays. It's comforting when away for business or vacation to log in and see your pup. Other than that, my GSD Kali and I love it. The staff is always friendly and the owner has a knack for remembering each dog. It provides an excellent opportunity for Kali to socialize with other dogs and play. It's also a fantastic to be able to drop them off for a few hours to play while you run errands. Overall we love it, just wish they could add cameras. read more

We have used this facility for over 11 years. We have not boarded our two for quite a while because we are lucky and blessed to have someone who keeps them for us. We boarded them this past weekend because we had a last minute trip come up. Be very careful boarding your pets here. Something has drastically changed and they do not care for the dogs like they used to. I could not have made it easier for them - I individually bagged every meal for each dog and labeled them with "breakfast", "dinner" etc. Our older dog has two meds that she must have each day - I individually bagged them so as there was no confusion. When we picked up our babies yesterday, after only 48 hours, I was handed 6 out of the 12 food bags back and one of the two med bags back. I was stunned. I looked at the girl and said our dogs were not fed? Two of the bags were for dinner, two were for breakfast and two were for lunch! So our dogs were not fed half the time they were there and our older lab is limping so bad from her lack of the required medication. We trusted these people. If they cannot do the most basic of functions for a boarding facility - feeding these defenseless dogs that cannot feed themselves - they have no business being open. We will never step foot in here again. The owner has not even bothered to call me - and worst of all, I still had to pay $195.00 for this disgrace. There are too many wonderful places in the area - don't set yourself up to feel the guilt we feel from bringing our dogs here. read more

I can't say enough what a positive experience it is for my dog! I highly recommend it! I have coming here for over a year. It just gets better and better! The improvements are outstanding! The staff is terrific! The safety for the dogs I have to also mention. It is the safest place I ever seen. I have see a lot. The outside area has pools and is very clean. I really like they added what looks like doggie bedrooms for those who need quite and alone time over night or for doggie family. It's just really good vibes here! I brought my dog here for his first time ever of starting doggy daycare I seen the reviews thought this would be a great place plus it is conveniently located near my home the first time I took my dog here he was very nervous did not want to go in with them however I figured it was just first time nerves the second time I brought my puppy here he was so scared he hid under my car and was fighting to not have to go in However the gentleman working that day said that he has a lot of dogs that do this it's just an attachment thing and he would be OK I figured I was doing my dog good by getting him socialized with other dogs I left him there for five hours the second time and for seven hours the first time well fast forward a few days later my dog is so sick runny nose with discharge, coughing, hard breathing, I had to miss work today and take him to the vet they said he has the first early stage symptoms of kennel cough this is the only place I took my dog so I know this is the only place he got it from when I called them to let them know that one of the dogs that goes there is infected all the lady on the phone said was OK thanks for letting us know and hung up didn't even ask how my dog was doing or if he was OK and then the owner called me all she cared about was what vet did I take my dog to the only reason why I could think why she cared about what vet I took my dog to was so that they don't stop giving referrals to go to her facility and give her a bad reputation she didn't even ask if my dog was OK when I told her that I missed work today and stayed up all night because my dog cannot sleep she didn't even show concern I am a blog specialist I will be letting all of the blogs know I feel like she should have offered A refund and offer to pay for the vet bills they should be more careful about this type of stuff in their facility so I am letting all you guys know who take your dogs there please be aware there is kennel cough going around I do not want your precious dogs getting sick like mine is right now I hope this is all that is wrong with him but we will find out more later and to the owner please stop asking me what vet I took him to I do not see the importance in that All of Florida and beyond will know about this facility spreading kennel cough please beware I have the proof from my vet that my dog contracted kennel cough and this is the only place he could've gotten it from do not bring your dogs here I'm getting in touch with Bay News 9 so we can put this on the news read more
