Review for Kathy Longwell by Nicole…read more Puppy Training Where to begin?? I really can't say enough good things about Kathy. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to because of her outstanding expertise and help in training my puppy. Kathy's professionalism, care for the dog's wellbeing, and ability to clearly and effectively communicate with me are only a handful of reasons why I'd strongly recommend Kathy's services to anyone. What I failed to realize in the beginning of working with Kathy is how much dog training involves human training...specifically training me, the dog owner. In order to get the most out of training, I felt I needed to keep an open mind to Kathy's suggestion and never take it personally. She truly has the dog's best interest at heart. For example, one suggestion Kathy made was to start loose leash walk training indoors, then in my backyard, then front yard, then finally sidewalks. (I compared the concept to a child going to kindergarten first, then elementary school, then high school, then finally college.) Implementing her input was the best thing I ever did! He walks really well on a loose leash now outside on sidewalks (at barely 5 months old!). Had I not checked my ego at the door and openly received and diligently implemented Kathy's sage advice, my puppy would never be as well behaved as he is. Do yourself, your dog, and our community a favor by hiring Kathy.

Very few friends and family even make the cut. I have to say we had a meet and greet with Felicia and my "Muttley Crew." Communication before the meet was excellent, and she was 5 minutes early - This is GREAT Service. Felisha immediately made a great impression on me and my dogs. All of my kids took to her right away. Even the most skittish, Sadie, was beginning to warm up after a few minutes, this NEVER happens. My dogs are all true rescues, they have been thru some , and each has issues (no comments about how pets and owners are similar ) - BUT they are pampered now and for me to Choose Weeki Wachee Waggers says A LOT. Definitely give them a look if you need pet sitting (dogs, cats, reptiles) or dog walking! Papa Bear Approved!

Whether it's belly rubs, long walks, or just keeping them company, I'm happiest when I'm making pups feel safe, loved, and right at home. While I've been a dog lover my entire life, my experience goes well beyond that. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience working in dog boarding and daycare, including time spent at a no-kill animal shelter. I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities - from the shiest little guys to the most energetic big pups — and l've loved every moment of it. I'm also trained in Pet First Aid and CPR. Before starting with any new client, I like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's the perfect chance for us to get to know each other, talk about your dog's needs, and make sure it's a great fit for everyone. After all, no one knows your pet better than you do, and I want to provide care that feels just like home. At the end of the day, l'm here to make sure your dog is safe, happy, and loved — and I'd be honored to be your trusted sitter!
