This place was very clean, relaxing and easy to navigate. The gal working the front was very friendly and helped answer all of our questions. The only issue I had was there were some folks that were staying in the cabins getting plastered (it was noon on a Friday, no judgement but there was kids) and being completely inappropriate and creepy. I wish the staff would have addressed the issue. They were loud, obnoxious and playing distasteful music for a family atmosphere. Nothing to complain about the pricing or the pools themselves. I wish they would fix the netting in the covered area, and maybe have more changing rooms with showers. read more

I was very disappointed with my stay at Trinity Hot Springs. The property appeared to be poorly maintained, especially the pool area. There were towels left lying around, chairs and cushions tipped over, float toys scattered in the pool, and overflowing garbage cans. Overall, the area looked dirty and neglected. When I arrived at the lodge, I couldn't find a single employee to help me. After locating my room, I couldn't find the light switch and had to use the flashlight on my cell phone just to get inside. Once I got in, I discovered the room light was burned out. The hallway light was also out, forcing me to use my phone flashlight whenever I walked through the hall. Throughout my stay, I tried to find staff to report these issues, but no one was available. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service made for a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here based on my experience. read more

Trinity Hot Springs - 2 beautiful ladies and their beautiful pool!!! - Resorts Near Me - Featherville, Idaho

If you're in the area and have some time to relax (and call ahead to make a reservation) you should take some time to take a relaxing dip! First .. call ahead and make a reservation. Currently they only allow so many people there. Currently also can't go into the main cabin area (which typically had local stuff to buy) but now you check in to swim just outside at the main door. We've only been there in the winter and after dark. This year there are new cubbies to store towels etc and the multiple changing rooms are a bit rustic but nice. First.... the "pool" is huge! It's lined with larger river rocks and about 4 feet deep. It's warm and inviting... they have steps so you can walk in gently. Feel free to wear water shoes if you prefer. After getting in if you really want to warm up.. head to the two large circular pools where everyone seems to gather and be prepared for the hot water endlessly streaming in to warm you up. Soon you'll feel like getting back into the cooler section or maybe even the slushy ice bath! There's also a covered tent area in a far corner of the pool that has a couple hot streams of water coming in a well as a hammock area to enjoy. There's fire pits too but since we like to go while it's snowing have never seen them going. Fun place to enjoy a late winter evening! read more

Its unfortunate that i have to leave a 1 star review. On Dec 21 we booked a cabin for the first time as a gift to each other for Christmas. I was asked if i wanted to include the "romance basket" which was suppose to include local honey and massage oil, chocolates and lotion. We had most of it but no oil they substituted a pen and a tiny notepad. I asked the following morning about it, it was a young lady with long light brown hair, about where do we fill up our water bottles she said it cost $10.00 and they fill them out back. Not what the website says. We stayed in cabin 10. You can not walk out the back door to the pool, the snow was not plowed, no curtain on the front door the rugs were out on the fence covered in snow. Basically we spent 350.00 for 1 star accommodation. We love this hot spring the water is amazing The staff is not very knowledgeable and its a shame. read more

Here's the review I wish I'd seen before driving seven hours to come here. I love hotsprings and am fairly easy to please. A name like Trinity Hot Springs conjures sacred healing waters, so I guess I had high expectations. This place might have "certified" whatever, but it was not a sacred experience. It sufficed, and allowed me to soak which was nice. But my experience was that the pools were often tumultuous, noisy, rowdy at times, a lot of beer drinking, cigarette smoke, trash and debris scattered about. The hot springs are basically a large swimming pool which, contrary to what anyone will tell you, maxes out around 99 degrees. In general, the pool is more like 90-95 degrees - somewhat cool, to lukewarm. Inside of the large pool are two 7 foot diameter adult versions of a kiddy pool. Fiberglass rounds that contain the hot water piped in, allowing it to reach temperatures up to 108-- which was great. I like it hot. The walls were tall making it challenging to get comfortable, and if I put my arms up on the rim like most people tend to do, it cut circulation off and would eventually cause discomfort. The tubs looked questionable with a fair amount of black grime along the bottom that was easily scraped off with a fingernail or, I presume, scrubbed with my bathing suit. I don't know the cleaning schedule, but I would have enjoyed a cleaner tub and a regular cleaning schedule, like my other favorite hot spring resorts. In the center of the pool, there is a large geodesic dome covered with skanky decaying cloth around it. Maybe kids like to frolic in it. I found it very unattractive and an eyesore. First two nights I stayed in a cabin and it was fine. It lacked a thermostat and was quite cold the first night, and very hot the second night. On my final night I stayed in the lodge and I wouldn't recommend that. The room was miniature with sloped roof, poorly lit, and incredibly noisy. The walls apparently are paper thin. I am half deaf, but even when I removed my hearing aids, I was still surprised and bothered by how chaotic it was. Staff was friendly, the region is beautiful with tall steep mountains all around. I think this place would be wonderful if it were right down the road from my house. But when seeking a destination hot spring experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

We booked Trinity Hot Springs initially in September, not realizing that there is no AC in the rooms. We called to ask about AC and how we could stay there in 100 degree weather. We were told that they would look for a solution and see if they can roll in a fan to the room and let us know. Needless to say we never heard back from them so we assumed that it wasn't possible to add a fan. Based on that we decided to cancel. However, their cancellation fees are crazy and it's hard to even get a hold of anyone there. So we were charged the entire amount (including dog fees and hot springs fees). read more

I give this place zero stars.. worst experience I've ever anywhere in the world.. me and my wife went there and enjoyed our previous stay there and decided to go there for our 20th anniversary and had the worst experience of anywhere I have ever in my life. We had a massage appointment scheduled at at 12 noon and we're in the hot springs at 10am when the massuse came out looking for her next appointment and that's was a 10:30 am, we told her we had our appointment at noon and see you then, When we we went to check in for our noon appointment they told us we had to wait because the previous appointment was late.. I said ok and waited 20 minutes before complaining that I was being inconvenienced because the previous appointment was late so I told them I wanted to cancel. Then the management became irritated and hostile and I threw a few f bombs but decided later I would apologize and went to the office to try and make amends only to be greeted by them coming to kick us out and then trying to falsely accuse us of breaking there alchohol policy and accusing me of spilling vodka on a woman the night before which was a total fabrication as I was not even drinking and am in the program AA . I feel I was justified complaining about the fact that we had to wait for the massage appointment because some other person can't keep their scheduled appointment. So anyway they basically kicked us out so never again will we ever go to this place again... they used their alcohol policy against us which we did not violate, in fact I made them repeat the policy to me before I made the reservation so. I was aware of their policy. They accused me of spilling vodka on a pregnant woman which is a total lie and made the accusation that I got out of the hot tub by rolling out because I was drunk but I'm a 65 year old man and it's not easy to get out of the tub unless you go out and around the walkway and climb out that way but I just did the best I could which some asshole manager decided I was not appropriate.. I have never in my life been so humiliated by a venue as this place and will never again go back there. The worst service I have ever experienced by a venue in my entire life and I have travelled the world with never any incidents ever. read more

I really enjoyed this place.. the hot springs itself it very relaxing and minimally developed. The hot water bubbles up from the gravel on the bottom of the pool creating hot spots. The area around the hot springs is also very beautiful. I didn't stay at the hotel, but the guests really seemed to enjoy it. read more

This is a super place to 'chill' with family and/or friends or as a couple. It's kid friendly and the area is nature's own. Great hiking and walking everywhere you turn. This is a fun place to spend a few hours. It's a natural hot spring and it is hot! Which is great but not ideal for younger children to swim. It's an interesting mix of swimming pool and natural spring because the bottom is all sand and rock but you enter it like a pool. I would recommend bringing a canopy or umbrella for shade because there is none at all and some chairs too. They do allow you to bring a cooler with food and beverages but if you don't want the hassel there is a restaurant inside. read more

I want to express share my grateful and enthusiastic recommendation of Trinity Hot Springs in Paradise! Staying there was so relaxing and nourishing. The pool was expansive, open at all hours and heavenly to soak in. The water was delicious to drink. The mineral water comes from the deepest known source of fresh water on earth. It's the only verified "Naturliches Heilwasser" - a natural health water - in North America. Ancient and heated by the earth! It was a wonderful stay and I will most definitely be returning. If you are looking a very special retreat and hot springs near Boise, this would be the place to go! I truly felt held and healed by these ancient waters. The lodge was awesome, too.
