We always come back because of the beautiful views and access to the river, comfortable rooms, and the pools. We love swimming in the indoor and amazing salt water outdoor pool. We always have friendly poolside service and enjoy the live music in the summer. It is a convenient location to downtown Boise. You also get free breakfast buffet included with your stay and I highly recommend the omelette station. I talk about this omelette constantly because I have never found one I like as much! The only downside is the hotel is extremely large and it's easy to get lost. It might be hard for someone with limited mobility to get around.

They partner with the chain, but have no signage stating Best Western until you get to the concierge. This would normally be fine, except that I drove around this hotel 3 times until I got tired, walked in and figured it out. Upon arrival, the lady at reception was nice. She greeted me fine and gave me these delicious hot chocolate chip cookies. The room itself was nice, but boy was it a challenge getting to it. Did I mention this hotel is large? It apparently only has 2 elevators and they are both very far away from our room. After what felt like an hour we finally found our room and relocated our car for the 3rd time. Overall, the hotel is nice, the location is nice, but the service is what killed me. For one we asked for a shower cap and it took them over an hour to bring one. I also asked for recommendations for things to do in Boise and the young lady had no idea. Her response was that she never leaves her home. I feel that if you work in a hotel, you should have some idea as to where people should see and dine at in your area. Overall, nice hotel. But service is lacking.

Just what weary travelers look for when exhausted and in need of rest. Particular thanks to the afternoon staff Brighton and (I cannot remember the other young lady's name) they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home, even a call to the room after we had settled in to make sure it was what we had expected and if anything else could be done to make us feel comfortable. We should have skipped the souflé, as it just wasn't a great flavor. Tables are very close to other parties. Celebrating our anniversary, we would have preferred a little more space. But overall food was delicious and not overpriced. We will be back! We also stayed at The Avery Hotel (3 stars) and will not be back. We heard the elevator, people and doors slamming all night. It's a historic hotel and genuinely has that feel and sound.

This is a 5 star+ hotel quality resort, but even nicer. More amenities than a 5 star hotel and everything is so luxurious and clearly professionally designed by a talented interior designer. There nothing like this in Boise. Even using the Airbnb Plus search function it's hard to find properties of this caliber and high end design. The owners are extremely attentive and ensured everything was perfect for our weekend stay. Easy self check in, abundance of supplies and organic products in the kitchen, and bathrooms. Flat screen smart TV's in the rooms, fully loaded with complimentary Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus and ESPN. Nespresso coffee machine made amazing lattes and espressos! Soft sheets, brand new super comfy mattresses, high pressure rain head showers, multiple Bluetooth speakers all over the property.. the list goes on. Still daydreaming about the day we come bacj! We've probably stayed in every room and the Anniversary Inn experience allows you to drive 20 minutes, check in, and be transported into your own little world 2000 miles, or 10,000 years, away! There's nothing like a beautiful, hot bath or jacuzzi in the middle of the night, mints on your pillow, pie waiting in the fridge, breakfast in bed, clean Clean, CLEAN rooms; happy and enthusiastic staffing, and a reasonable checkout time! We stayed at Anniversary Inn on Friday, May 15, 2026, for our 8th wedding anniversary. This was…read moresupposed to be a special remembrance stay for us because we also stayed here on our wedding night 8 years ago. My husband booked our room over a month in advance, and we reserved the Hollywood Suite, which was the room we had always wanted to stay in. A week before our stay, they called my husband and told him that room was no longer available, even though it had already been reserved for weeks. He requested another Diamond Suite, and they told him not to worry because the Marble Suite was available. We checked in at 4:00 PM. The room was much smaller than expected, and the wine my husband paid for and specifically requested was not in the room. The spa essentials were there, so we decided not to make a fuss at first. After dinner, we returned around 9:30 PM and tried to use the spa bathtub, which is one of the main reasons people stay at this hotel. The water was extremely hot, and when my husband tried to turn it down, the water would not shut off at all. The water became so dangerously hot that we quickly jumped out to avoid getting burned or injured because we had no way to stop it. We had to get out, get dressed, and call the front desk. Joann came to our room, and instead of trying to problem-solve or reassure us, she immediately said there were no rooms available and asked whether we planned to stay or leave. Rather than helping us find a solution, she seemed more focused on getting an answer from us than resolving the issue itself. From the moment she arrived, we felt like she was more than happy to see us leave instead of trying to save our anniversary experience or help make things right. We asked if the issue could be fixed first. Maintenance came, and after we waited in our car for about half an hour, the tub was still not properly fixed. The maintenance employee, Donny, was shocked that no one had tried to move us and confidently told us that we would absolutely receive a full refund because of the situation. He seemed certain that this was the obvious outcome. Later, when my husband spoke with Joann and referenced what Donny had said, she immediately shut it down and said he could not make those statements and should not have said that. It was incredibly frustrating to receive completely conflicting information from staff while already dealing with a ruined anniversary evening. We were then told the faucet had been stripped and that pliers could be left for us if we wanted to try using the tub ourselves. We did not feel comfortable with that at all. The whole reason we stayed there was for the themed room and spa tub experience, and that experience was completely ruined. We ended up checking out before midnight and driving 45 minutes home to Mountain Home. What made this even more frustrating was how everything was handled afterward. We were not offered any refund, partial refund, credit, or even another stay at a later date. Nothing. We were simply told that "a manager would contact us." There was no attempt to make things right, no empathy, and no effort to save our anniversary experience. The property itself also feels very neglected. The hallway carpets looked filthy and stained and honestly did not appear to have changed much since we stayed there 8 years ago. For $300-$400 a night, this is unacceptable. The staff overall seemed undertrained, overwhelmed, and not equipped to handle guest issues with even basic hospitality. This place could be amazing if the owners invested more into maintenance, staffing, and customer service. Unfortunately, our anniversary night was ruined, and my husband and I have decided we will never stay there again. For anyone considering spending this much money on a room here, think carefully. You are paying for an experience, and sadly this was nowhere close to one worth paying for.

This is a great place to stay for just a few days or longer…read more We chose the studio style room which is basically a regular hotel room. We had a stacked washer and dryer. Detergent included. Microwave, dishwasher, full stove and full refrigerator. The cupboards were stocked with pots, pans, and dishwashing soap. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong. and I hit my face on a shelf that was in the shower. (because it was made out of glass I didn't see it.) OUCH The king bed was very comfortable. I asked for an extra comforte. and it was so cozy when we slept at big The blackout drapes worked very well. The downside to our room is that we had a small couch at the foot of our bed. This made it very difficult to walk around the bed easily. There wasn't a lot of room. Fitness room was very nice, open and spacious. No pool Because this is a LIVE/stay hotel, the front desk had Amazon and other courier packages all around for the guests. This didn't look too great. This is a horrible place to stay. I tried two different rooms and they both WREAK. I mean they absolutely stink and are musty AF. Like i literally can not even breath out of my nose in the rooms it's so bad. If you are sensitive to smells DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stay here. Not only that, there was a huge dried out brown streak on my top sheet and they tucked it into the foot of the bed probably hoping I wouldn't notice. Yup, you read that right. A shit stain. Stay away from this place.
