Super easy online ordering! My husband and I were tired after a long day of exploring Rock City & wanted BBq. We found this place on yelp while driving on the interstate, quickly placed our order online & stopped to pick it up. The parking lot was a bit confusing, so we pulled into a random door dash spot & called the number. The person who answered the phone was super friendly and assured us to stay there and he would bring our food right out! Brisket was out of this world!! It was so juicy and flavorful and went perfectly with the red wine we got from Trader Joe's that says it pairs with bbq lol. Potato salad was also super good! Cute Spot, Smaller Portions and Higher Proves.... Service was friendly. I feel like 3.5 stars would be my rating if it was an option. I like the cute little corner shop feel and the shared dining area, it's a cool spot. 5 star potential here for sure. I was a bit of a disappointment to only get 3 pieces of brisket for $16.... The brisket was room temperature bordering cold too... It tasted good, but I could use more of it and some warmth. I was not a fan of the Mac n cheese, it had some sour cream kind of thing going on, not my style.... Good fries. The 10 pieces of chicken for $16 doesn't come with sides so it seems steeply priced then. The chicken was good though and all 3 flavors out the spot. They should include a side or two. Tried Trinity BBQ after seeing reviews saying good things. Interesting interaction. The young man taking our order seemed very confused not understanding the menu but we worked through it. My wife ordered the BBQ nachos. Very average considering the price. I ordered the 3 meat player. $20 but not really if you want 3 different meats. Chicken and pork are standard but anything different is $1-2.50 more. I got the chicken which was mediocre, pork was good and the 3 wings which were ok. Sides were also pricy if you wanted anything but the 3 basics potato salad, baked beans or Cole slaw. All said I have to believe there are better options out there. We won't be back. read more

It's inside The Mill which looks like an old Mill and I thought we were at the wrong location when we arrived. Trinity catered my husband's 80th birthday celebration this weekend. The food was delicious. We received numerous compliments from our guests regarding the selections: pulled pork, pulled chicken, wings, the Mac n cheese, baked beans, corn casserole, nutter butter banana pudding--all were delicious! The setup crew arrived right on time and did a great job of putting all the food out, even making labels in front of each selection for us. Couldn't have asked for anything better! After going once we have been back 4 additional times. The service and food has always been exceptional. We live an hour away so its always a random plan to grab BBQ and run over to Willies for a hot dog. The staff seem to remember us which was unexpected and appreciated. In a hurried world of always being busy and experiencing staff that seem like you are bothering them this place is the complete opposite. I ordered a half pound of brisket and 10 chicken wings and my wife ordered pulled pork, brussel sprouts, and BBQ bean. She really enjoyed the flavor of the pulled pork...nice job on the sides also! Jadyn took our order and was a very pleasant waitress. We really enjoyed chatting with her and taking her recommendations. Colby worked in the rear and did an excellent job on our food. The brisket had an excellent flavor and was tender, along with very meaty. I loved the flavor of the brisket and great job on the chicken wings. Large in size, crispy, and succulent. Just had some excellent barbecue in Dalton, Georgia, heading home to Michigan. For me, the mark of barbecue is how they do their ribs, and these were spot on. Their white sauce was a perfect blend of vinegar and sweet. The true surprise was the baked beans. I didn't order them, but snuck repeated bites from my husband's once I discovered how delicious they were. I'll spend the rest of my life trying to duplicate that recipe. And don't miss the Nutter butter banana pudding. Delicious! read more

This is my rating for the area, against KC BBQ or Texas it would probably 3-3.5. I did a taste test against another BBQ joint in Dalton and this place won hands down. I tried the ribs first the first place I ordered from not really much smoke flavor and they fell right off. Trinity had a really good rub on it that you can definitely taste and a good Smokey flavor. It also had a little pull when you take the first bite that you are looking for. The brisket had a nice smoke ring, good rub and good Smokey flavor. The other place was dry, chopped and lacked in flavor and smokeyness. I also like the baked beans better at Trinity, they just had a richer flavor. The sauces were good at both places. However the preference was trinity's sauce. The other side I got was southern slaw, it was ok. Not great. But nice job Trinity. read more

Stopped here because we were in the area and looking for something that wasn't a chain or fast food. We were pleasantly surprised it was in a cute little center with other food options/retail, heath things. The service was very friendly and the owner was talkative and informative. The BBQ was great. We got a sampler platter and it had a little of all their meats on it and 3 sides. We left with food to take home and very full bellies. I recommend the Brussels sprouts and the Brisket the most but there wasn't anything we didn't like. If you're in the area, give them a try. Some other reviews say they're pricey but we found them to be comparable with most other mom n pop BBQ places. Unfortunately meat has increased in price along with everything else. read more

Echoing several other reviewers on here to say that the food is delicious but the portions are very small for the price and I wish I'd snapped a picture of my meal to emphasize this. I ordered a 1-meat plate and for $14, I'm nowhere close to full :( Brisket: Juicy, flavorful - I truly wish I'd had more of this because it was delicious and paired well with the sauce. Green Beans w/ Bacon: The weakest item on my plate; the bacon had been crisped to the point it looked burnt and the beans had a slightly sour aftertaste. Loaded Potato Salad: Delicious, tastes as it should; I'd be comfortable recommending this as a side pick. I might be by another time and I hope this business does well because it's nice to have a good bbq joint close by, but I definitely hope portions will be somewhat more generous in the future! read more

Wife and I went here over a month ago and got carry out. But I had Covid and couldn't taste everything in full flavor. So we came here again so I could try it and was not disappointed! Both my wife and I got the pit master special which was a pulled pork sandwich with a bunch of goodness on top. It was very good. I got the Mac and cheese as a side and my wife got the waffle fries. We also got the cookie brownie which is divine as well. Flavor wise, everything was great. The only complaint I'd have is that the sides seem kind of pricey for the portion size.
