During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. Remedy is such a sweet serene spot right in the university area that you'd kinda forget where you are because it's so peaceful while experiencing it, and that's why I can't recommend Emily and Remedy enough.

When a treatment doesn't produce the expected results, the least a client should receive is a professional evaluation and a willingness to make things right, not excuses. On top of that, the receptionist consistently had a rude and dismissive attitude. She told me they would not provide any complimentary treatments, even though I never asked for one. All I wanted was to receive the service I had already paid for and have it done correctly. A reputable business stands behind its work and takes responsibility when something doesn't go as planned. They are very friendly and what I love is that prior to any service they make sure you get a free consultation where you can get to know them and vice versa. My consultation was with the esthetician and the nurse who does Botox. I appreciated them being willing to answer all questions about their licenses and sanitation practices!! They also have their current licenses displayed in full view. The nurse, esthetician and front desk staff were all really friendly and made you feel welcome. I wasn't pressured to do anything the day of my consultation- and I made my appointment for a hydro facial the following week. They are pricey, so I decided to go for the monthly membership which brought my total down from $222 (yikes!) to $155.00. And I got 50% off first time service. The hydro facial was comfortable and I already see results with my skin- especially my forehead area that was pretty congested and now looks smooth. She was gentle but extractions always hurt so there's that. She showed me what was coming out of my pores, which I wanted to see. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them and this facial. Oh, and when I told her what products I was using + asking for recommendations, she wrote down what she would suggest AND didn't try to push products on me. She was very honest and said "use up what you have and we can start introducing the new products later". She even recommended things from Target and not just their spa.
