I couldn't even believe when she told me we were done because I could still see many long hairs. She is not detailed at all in her work and used the same strip to take off all of your hairs... As I arrived home I was even more upset and disappointed to see just how many hairs she had missed. Not to mention that her spot is very unsanitary. Definitely do not get a Brazilian was here!

The owner asked if I wanted to come back for another bikini wax down the road. One bikini was $35 and then two would come out to $60 or something dollars. I went with the one bikini wax. A few months later I contact the owner and she directs me to schedule an appointment for my bikini online. I had missed my appointment and contacted the owner and she said I basically redeem my payment if I missed my appointment. I think there should be a small deductible not the whole payment you had already purchased. As you can tell I will no longer be returning this company

My partner called 3 days prior to the appointment and when Melissa called back she was rude and unprofessional. She also refused to give us our money back that she had already charged to our credit card. After we argued with her she finally gave in. I didn't trust her at that point, so I had my partner make sure she sent an email to confirm what was said and that we were promised a refund. We then got an nasty email in return, "Not sure why you are so angry. I refunded your money to you as I said I would. Everything was handled and your money should be back in your account. Have a wonderful day and just breath. Thank you" When you go to a spa it is to relax not leave more stressed out! ***Also before you book please see that there is NO CANCELATION POLICY stated anywhere on her website. ***

As soon as I called her she was able to get me in the next day (today)! Normally I'm not one to seek out treatments such as these but times are desperate! I am eager to get back to myself! As soon as I arrived Adriana had met me at the gate and walked me to her office. She was so polite and friendly. Before she proceeded she explained to me she had a great treatment option called a micro current facial that she thought would be effective for me to stimulate my facial muscles. Walking me through every step I knew I was in good hands and she knew what she was doing. I felt comfortable the entire time and didn't feel pressured. It was a completely new experience that I honestly had no clue about had it not been for my acupuncturist. Would I recommend it? I would say from just the first session I feel it was effective. If you need some facial therapy Adriana knows what's she is doing! I have another appointment with her in the books hoping that we can help speed up my recovery!

I do not recommend Shelley Chavez and her services. I wish I could give negative stars for this…read moreexperience. She is unprofessional and lacks communication skills that a business owner needs to have a successful business. I had gotten 2 or 3 brow waxes from her when the last one burned my skin pretty bad. I brought it up to her and she offered the next one free. Did not state a timeline or anything about when service had to be completed. I waited before re-booking because I was nervous about the same thing happening again. When I decided to rebook, she then did not respond. When I went to check her Instagram realized I was blocked. I have attached a photo of the burn from the service (a few days after, it was worse but did not think it was from the service as I have had my brows waxed for years which was why I waited to take a photo and send it to her). When I reached out about being blocked when owed a service (that SHE offered) she attacked me by saying I was harassing her and she didn't know why I was still contacting her. I didn't realize a text asking why I was blocked when owed a service was harassment? But definitely bad customer service to treat someone like this. I looked up her licensure on the NM regulation and licensure website as well as BBB and found no license information for her. There is a record of the establishment and a license issued June 23,2020 when I was serviced June 1, 2020 before her facility license was active (according to rld.state.nm.us). I am going to take this up with the state to see why there is no record of her and how she serviced me before the license was active. She refused to work with me & did not even try to do the right thing after harming my skin. I had kindly asked for a refund in which she blocked me instead of trying to have a conversation. Who knows if she is working without a license & when she performs a service that harms someone (in this case me) chooses to block them instead of making things right. I know that I was not out of line in my communication with her. There is nothing listed on her Instagram (as of November 11, 2020) that states any sort of timeline for free services or even her licensure. This may change after this review but I do not believe she has a license as I couldn't find her name and license information online. She has now blocked me on Instagram and my phone number. I think this shows her character as an "esthetician" and her lack of confidence with her services/company to block someone who did no wrong. (I'm attaching photos of her not responding/accusing me of harassment/blocking my number since the last text was not delivered). You can read my texts and see I was kind and respectful and simply asking a question for her to react like this.. I know she is recruiting people to write positive reviews and I do not doubt they have had good experiences. But I did not and was treated terribly for no reason and do not think my review should be discredited. If she treated me like this it's likely she could treat someone else this way as well.
