I'm writing on behalf of my partner who says 5 stars is well deserved!…read more She bought her fancy new Bernina there and is thrilled with the quality and features. In fact, there are so many features that she's taking advantage of their classes and is pleased with them, too. Third compliment is the charm: She has an antique machine that needed service. For background, it was shocking her so she took it to another store that's north of Saratoga County. They refused to fix it. So we take it to Gloversville where it's graciously checked in. Just a few days later it comes back all shiny like a new machine. It also has a lamp improvement (LED), a new improved drive belt, and a new foot pedal. They have a newish customer who is ecstatic with their service and products. Excellent!

They helped me choose fabrics to go with some I brought for my next project and despite being a small store, they have many fabric choices; retro, modern, classic, many shades of all colors. Being a small business owner, I prefer to patronize small businesses rather than places like Joanns and am willing to pay more per yard for that. There were other quilting supplies and patterns available but I didn't look at them on this trip. I love seahorses, and they had a beautiful wall hanging of a seahorse which I will incorporate into a bed quilt.
