BUYER BEWARE of the dealership in Arab, AL. My husband had a horrible experience w/deceptive business practice there. He had been talking to them for the past week about a used zero turn mower. On Mar 13, after multiple conversations, he was given their final price incl. tax. On Mar 15, he phoned to see if it was still available. It was. He told the salesman he wanted it, would leave work early, go get a trailer and make the 2 1/2 hour drive. He arrived, walked to the mower w/the salesman he had been dealing with when another employee road past on a mower and said he thought someone had it sold to someone from TN. My husband's salesman told the other employee that would be my husband. He (husband's salesman) phoned the "boss" to verify and the "boss' said he had just talked to someone 25 minutes ago and gave that person 24 hours to "decide" if they wanted it. The decision had already been made with my husband!!! My husband's salesman told him that he had been talking to my husband for the past week, had it sold to my husband, had already priced it to my husband, that my husband had left work early and made the 2 1/2 hour drive to get it with the salesman knowing since that morning that my husband was coming. My husband heard the conversation. Did the "boss" call the person he had only spoken to "25 minutes ago"??? Nope!!!! My husband had accepted their negotiated price at 11:23 a.m. on that day, Mar 15th, which was HOURS before this second person even phoned (25 min. prior) to inquire about it. A contract is a written or spoken agreement. They breached their contract with my husband. read more
