I've taken several cars here and have always appreciated the work. However I've taken my last car to Trifer along with my recommendations after I picked up my new car that I just had tinted. The black trim near the window was scratched and colored in with a sharpie to hide the damage. I reached out to the owner regarding the damage along with a bill for the repair and there was no effort to make it right. They did offer to fix a few small bubbles in the tint but ignored the 275 dollars in damage that was done. read more

Had the windows tinted and the entire car detailed on my wife M4 BMW they did a good job on the windows but the detailing for $400 was a rip off. I also had a paint touch up kit and the a M4 competition strip to be installed. When we got back to the shop at about 4:30pm it was not ready yet and no one was in the office. I asked about why the touch up kit was not done on the two scratches and the stipe not installed. The guy said the lady never told him about it or it would have been done. The kit and the strip were still on the front counter where I gave it to the lady at 10:30 am when we left the car and got a cab to the mall while the car was being done. No one ever called us and then we waiting while they finished the rear window. The wheels and rear carbon fiber were not touched and black with brake dust and the rear carbon fiber foiler and tail pipes were also never touched and were also very dirty. We had A Magnet flag on the back and that was not put back and was not left in the car. So again for a $400 detail job its a rip off. It's an all day trip for us as we live on the coast. We also got emails prior to booking saying if we booked by a certain date we would get there special discount. The guy who did the work and who we paid said he didn't know anything about a discount and the bill was $800 for the windows and the detailing. So he did give us $100 discount even though it was not in my reservation. So that was a Plus. All n all I would not go back for my truck and Infiniti that I want to get done. I will have to goo now to another shop to take care of the scratches and the stripe installed. And I will have to order another magnet flag. read more

I needed a two story living room tinted with reflective film to protect against bleaching from the sun and from summer heat. I contacted Trifer based on its Yelp reviews and had a bid 2 days later. They started the next day. Scaffolding had to be set up for the upper windows so the start was a bit late. They had to finish up the next day. The workers were neat and courteous and did a good job. I've ordered a number of jobs in California and this crew and job measured up well. Cars are commonly tinted in Eugene but buildings much less so. There were many panes on this job. Cost was $1050. on August 15,2022 Had windshield replaced (.special thanks to gravel trucks that don't cover their load on beltline) and had windows tinted , since it was there for the day. They had excellent online reviews.went to pick up car. Requested itemized receipt and warranty info. Was told it wasn't available. Hmmm On the following day noticed 3 in bubble in windshield tint. Went back Wednesday the 17th , requested it be fixed, and asked again for itemized reciept, was told the lady that comes in to do those things won't be in til later. Now it's one week later and I've asked for itemized receipt 9 times. Why because you need it for tax purposes and it will show what product they used , so you know that you got what you paid for. I asked for ceramic, to protect the interior, did I get it? I think probably not, since I've gotten zero replies, to a request that a middle school student would know how to do. The answer is? If you want your tinting done correctly go to Trifer they'll hook you up. They will show you the differences between Johnson tint other manufacturers garbage purple color changing tint. They since have done all my personal vehicles and my fleet of limous. I took my bus into a different place to get the windows tinted they couldn't even do it after trying several times. Trifer successfully tinted my bus that same day, same thing with my boat, I took my Pavati boat to four different window tinting shops they all said no way it could be done guess what trifer did it, and it looks awesome. Tint itself was good and it's cut well but prices were taken off of and not returned my door stopper was taken off and not put back on the worker just left the screw on my floor no biggie but when I call and ask the women at the desks acts like they didn't take it off when you need to for the panel to be removed and my car had never had panels off before so me being how I am about my car I notice that ASAP. All I gotta say Is I detail I know how it is but if you take stuff off you put it where you know it'll get back to its owner. Also the carpet prices on bottom of door panels came back one off and the other falling off an the edge I'm sure you guys have spray adhesive and that would be an easy task to make sure a customer is satisfied. Originally set up appt with a Black Friday special. That was later rescheduled by them. New appt was scheduled and the price was quoted over the phone and had increased from the previous "special". Ok no problem I understand being "to busy" and the pricing was for a limited time offer, mind you the original appt was rescheduled by them. So today, I took time off work and deliver the vehicle to Trifer. On arrival the guy was rude and disrespectful. Said I "wasn't in the schedule" yet I received a confirmation text an hour before arrival. So I left the vehicle and was quoted $240 for a rear window, 2 side windows and 6" windshield strip. An hour later they called and told me " we're sorry but the price will be much more than originally quoted". At this point I'm done with Trifer. After 10 + vehicles and countless referrals I will not do business with them again. Nor will I recommend anyone else to waste their time and money with a company that creates a frustrating experience. read more

I found this business through Yelp and saw they had good reviews, so I decided to call here first. I called around 11am on Tuesday, Sept 6th to inquire if I could get a windshield replacement that day or the next because I was leaving town and was concerned for safety. I also wanted some tint but figured I'd find out if they could get the windshield first. The lady who I spoke to said that she would check and call me right back. The lady seemed to be having trouble understanding what sort of car I had. She called back in a couple of minutes to find out again what sort of car I had. (Volkswagen Tiguans are not an exotic car.) The lady assured me that they would return my call right away and let me know if it was possible to replace it that day or the next. They never called me back. I gave up and got my windshield and tint taken care of elsewhere. Maybe their work is great, but I didn't get a chance to find out. read more

Don't worry about that ONE bad review or the nonsense it says, this place is hands down amazing!!! This is a VERY busy shop for a reason! I had a cracked windshield and zero tint. I wasn't sure what to do about the windshield or how much tinting I should get. Tristans expert consultation and customer service is what sold me and assured me my vehicle would be in safe hands. He ordered a brand new windshield and tinted it within a day and did a VERY good job!!! This shop is highly respected by the community and all the dealerships go to this place which is why I chose it. With that being said, it is VERY busy. Which means the owner can't stay on the phone every five minutes if you want your car done. As busy as they are you must realize that if there are other clients that have brought their car in before yours then its not going to get done in one day. Sometimes they are so busy it takes a little longer. Everyone I know in the community has gotten their car done there and they are all very happy with the results. I know my tinting and windshield is going to last a very long time because its not some cheap job, its an actual tinting process no one else does. So like i stated previously, don't worry about that one silly review by someone who has no idea and is probably just trying to make a quick buck. This isn't the place for cheepos. This company bent over backwards to provide me all the literature I needed. It came down to making a decision between (2) different films and they hung samples of both types to aide us in our decision. They presented us with a professional estimate. Their consultant/installer was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Their support staff was equally friendly and professional. I make the professional estimate point because another competitor made no effort what so ever to provide us with an estimate and quite frankly didn't come close to being in the professional caliber of Trifer. My experience was awful! When I picked up my car, there were bubbles in EVERY SINGLE WINDOW. I was told they would go away in the sun but never did. There were gaps between the tint and bottom of the window. They were cool enough to take the car back and redo it. The exact words from the owner about the gaps between the tint and the bottom of the window "We don't care what it looks like from the inside, it only matters what it looks like from the outside." After they redid the tint, I found RAZOR BLADES, GLUE, FILM, and TOOLS littered in my car. An entire roll of film on my dash, and dried soap spray all over the doors. I brought the blades back inside to the owner who was stuffing his face with pizza, and I said "See, this is what I'm talking about." After that, there were still bubbles in my window so I took it back a third time. I was on the brink of saying remove everything, I will go elsewhere.
