I was elated when they called to schedule the repair a few weeks later. I guess they squeezed me in. I wasn't exactly sure what it was going to take to replace the whole roof. But they walked me through it with the initial inspection. The replacement took four days. They didn't let me know how long it was going to take, but that's alright. The roof looks good. It's rained since it's been replaced, and there have been no leaks. I wasn't terribly happy that they removed and discarded two satellite dishes that I specifically asked them to replace once they took them off. We even discussed how they're not liable for tuning the dishes. They're gone. I keep finding nails in my driveway, which worries me. They had one small tarp to catch the debris that falls from the roof. I guess that wasn't enough. The craftsmanship looks pretty good. They caulked any holes, repainted all the pipe vents and stuff. My turbines are gone, and they "upgraded" to ridge vents. Overall, I'm satisfied with my roof.

On the second day we tried to get hold of people and everyone was unavailable. We have been told they were going to come back to tarpot that day but they did not. Early this morning we heard from the head contractor who had been out of town. He was very upset about the situation. He said that that was not their policy. That they had a requirement that everything be covered before people went home for the day. As a result of the issue, they are intending to compensate us in some fashion. The biggest thing is that the house is covered now. They have almost completed the roof and said they will be back on Monday.
