Unfortunately I've been seeing him more frequently than I would like since my filings I received as a child are starting to just fall out. He tries to make this the most pleasant he can but with me having ALL my wisdom teeth and these are the couple that are filled, it can be a bit of a challenge. I also enjoy that this is a family business, I've seen the same pretty faces my entire time I've been coming here. The lady in the reception area is always so sweet as-well as Dr. Civillico's hygienist. I would definitely recommend if in the market for a great dentist. Before you leave they have you fill out a postcard and send the reminder to you in 6 months; it's a little old school, but I like that!

We were introduced to their lovely family of sons and heard about their wonderful careers and family. One son choose to be a dentist, and like his father, turned out to be a wonderful one. I know this because I worked with veterans at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center who were under his care. Veterans deserve the best care and they got it from him, as my sister and I did from his father. Fran is always such a warm and welcoming presence in the reception area and she can reminisce over details of our lives while handling phone calls, billing details and scheduling. She is amazing! Dr. Civillico is not just a dental practitioner. He is an artist. He lovingly crafts fillings, temporary fixtures, crowns and bridges like a fine sculptor. We have NEVER had a problem with his diagnosis or treatment. He is efficient and caring, as is his staff. Teeth are so important to self-esteem. Ours has been bolstered through the excellent preventative and clinical ministration of Dr. Cvillico. I have a picture to attach. I hope it makes it into the review.

I had to have my wisdom teeth removed. I went to their office in Drexel Hill for my consultation…read more The receptionists were very nice and helpful. The nurse took ex-rays and asked what issues I was having. I was then told my Doctor was going to be Dr. Litman. He examined my x-rays and then told me I would need my teeth extracted and why. He showed me photos of what my teeth looked like and explained how they were growing in improperly. He explained what my best option would be and was overall very informative which I loved because he took the time to explain everything. We then scheduled my option for a few weeks later. When I went for my appointment, I went to the office in Newtown Square. Again, seeing Dr. Litman. The nurse who set me up for surgery was beyond nice and comforting. Dr. Litman came in and was ready to get started. He asked to see both arms to see which arm looked easier to inject . I woke up by having the same nurse walking me to a cot to rest for a couple minutes and reassured I wasn't driving home. Once awake, the nurse explained the procedure to my mom, gave her the steps/tips for after surgery and even paperwork to look over throughout the week of recovery. They made my follow up appointment and we left. My surgery went so well and I was so happy with the surgery and recovery. The follow up appointment took literally 2 minutes. Dr. Litman cut out my stitches and it was all over. I will be recommending this office, no doubt!

They said to fast bc she's likely need to be put under for it. Upon arrival, the young girls at the front desk sat on their phones before glancing up and greeting her. Not a good first impression but whatever, moved along and filled out np paperwork. After all of that was filled out they said we don't accept your insurance so they gave her a quote of $800 out of pocket to do the job. We elected to brainstorm out front and call the insurance company and verify this to which they said no, that practice DOES accept this insurance. I went back to the girls and said my mom was just here, what do you mean you don't accept this insurance? She said oh, we do- she needs a referral and then we don't know how much it'll cover. I said oh ok, so why would someone tell her they don't accept and she can pay 800 out of pocket? Can't we sign a form saying we'll be on the hook for the difference but bill insurance first? She said yes we can do that. (WHAT THE F*CK?) I said can they still take her today then and she said no, tomorrow we can. Fortunately, I have found somewhere else to bring her today and I hope they have more professional employees who actually know the insurances accepted at the practice before raffling quotes of $800 off.

Unfortunately, they are also quite busy, and it can be a bit hard to get an appointment within a short timespan. They are also quite expensive, and I always have rather high out-of-pocket fees even though I have a fairly good dental plan.

I was a patient of this dental practice for several years, and I never imagined that I would…read moreeventually have to write a review like this. Over the years, one of the biggest concerns I noticed was the frequent change of dentists. My treatment passed from one dentist to another, and unfortunately, when a serious problem eventually developed, that lack of continuity became extremely important. When I was treated by Dr. Sardora, I specifically discussed my concerns about what would happen if there were problems after the treatment. At the time, I was reassured that they would take good care of me if anything happened afterward. That reassurance was one of the reasons I trusted the practice and moved forward with significant dental work, including a dental bridge. Unfortunately, when problems later developed and Dr. Lee was handling my case, the response was completely different. I was told that the work was beyond a one-year warranty period and that the office would not be responsible for it. I was honestly shocked by that response. This was not a small or temporary dental procedure. This was a dental bridge. Even my dental insurance generally only covers replacement of this type of major restorative work after a much longer interval, yet I was being told that after just over a year, the practice no longer considered itself responsible for addressing the problem. What makes this experience even more upsetting is what I am dealing with now. Because of the complexity of the existing dental work and the problems that need to be corrected, I am now having an extremely difficult time finding another dentist willing to take over my case. I have been left searching for someone who is willing and qualified to deal with the situation and determine how my teeth can be properly restored. For me, this is much bigger than whether a dental office technically offers a one-year "warranty." My concern is about continuity of care and accountability. Patients undergoing major restorative treatment should understand what happens if the dentist who performed the work leaves the practice, who takes responsibility for follow-up care, and what the practice will do if serious problems develop later. After being a patient here for years, trusting the practice through multiple changes of dentists, and relying on the reassurance I was originally given, I found the way my situation was ultimately handled extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The situation became serious enough that I filed a formal complaint with the Pennsylvania Department of State regarding my experience. I am sharing this review because I genuinely wish I had understood these issues before agreeing to major dental work here. If you are considering crowns, bridges, implants, or other extensive restorative treatment at this practice, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and asking--in writing--exactly who will be responsible for your care if complications develop after treatment or if your treating dentist leaves the practice. Unfortunately, I am now the one left trying to find another doctor willing to help fix a very complicated dental situation.

In 2023 (2 years after service) I started receiving the same bill through the mail and via text for that ONE TIME I came to this location for routine service that should have been covered by insurance. After calling several times I've gotten inconsistent explanations or lack of explanations of why it was supposedly denied by my insurance, then this year someone at some point said it wasn't submitted correctly and they'd try again. After that I started getting mail from my dental insurance company at the time of service stating that this dental practice failed to file the claim in time (90 days), which is why it was denied. Then I started getting mail and texts from this practice that my outstanding balance was adjusted and INCREASED even though no additional services were rendered. This negative review is 100% a reflection of their administrative staff and unprofessional billing practices rather than the dentist I saw. They have not been able to give me an explanation or acknowledge that they have made multiple mistakes along the way. It is now the end of 2024 and this is still not resolved 3 years later. Stay away from this practice!
