I've had more than a thousand blood draws between labs and hospital stays. That's not an exaggeration. If anything it might be an understatement. This location has some of the best phlebotomists I've ever encountered. Today Paula drew my blood. She was very thorough and smooth. I didn't even feel the needle. She handled my blood thinner issues like a pro and I didn't even bleed at all - a rarity when I'm not even on blood thinners!

I mean, if I had been late I would understand, but she had almost 1/2 an hour to draw 3 tubes of blood & take my blood pressure. I realize how quickly this can and should be done because I'm a nurse. If I treated my ER patients like that I wouldn't have a job. The very least she could have done was taking the material and getting it set up for the next person. Now it's 20 minutes past my appointment, Still haven't seen the next person. 5 minutes left on the clock for draw time. But I can hear her stocking vacuum tubes, so obviously that's more important than customer service.

Had to set up a payment plan through the robotic automated system for TWICE the amount of the plan the rep had TOLD me they'd set up. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The employee who was on duty on Saturday 6/20/2026 is wonderful. The one with the tattoo on her throat. :-) She knows what customer service is. I have just loved her. The two employees who were on duty today 6/22/2026 -- they are not at all nice. In fact, the older one who has been there forever -- she is SO RUDE and SO UNKIND. Unbelievable. But I've kept going to this ALTN because this is the only one in the whole state of NM. I've been so grateful that I can get my B12 injections when I've wanted them. However, this morning I went into the office with some printed-out information that I got off of the general ALTN website (I don't want to go into what it was, not on social media). And the older one went for my jugular. She accused me of "you're always trying to start something". Huh. I thought she'd be happy to see the info I brought in. What could anyone start something in a lab -- especially a lab one is grateful for. smh And not only that -- she proved that she's not very bright either. //// I AM FED UP WITH HER NASTINESS. (The other one, this morning, is no great shakes either.) I'm never going back. I called and emailed ALTN Corporate. I left a message asking that you call me. You and I have run across each other in the office a couple of times. You were so nice. If I don't hear from you, at least you have this. I'm taking my business elsewhere, and I've already found another lab. Just know that this ALTN can't be trusted anymore either. Wouldn't recommend services from Truman…read more Suffered from jaw pain, told them I do work in a cooler for a good amount of my eight hour shift. They gaslit me trying to say that I needed a dentist. I've had teeth pain and this wasn't it. Got to the point I couldn't touch my bottom and top teeth on the right side. Decided to try and put a scarf/mask around my jaw while in the cooler and what do you know after a few days the pain went away. Suffer from debilitating stroke like episodes (dreamlike) and they said its migraines. But migraine medicine wouldn't help. Suffer from daily stomach upset that comes on suddenly and goes away after a few minutes and they did their tests and found nothing. They just told me that I can't stay on the nausea medicine indefinitely. Had an endoscopy for my stomach issues, where after the procedure I felt discomfort in my rib cage and brought it multiple times to my primary who dismissed it as a pulled muscle. Six years later, it's not nearly as bad but I still get discomfort from time to time. For years they said I was bipolar. Medications and Electro Convulsive Therapy didn't work. Thought the last med worked till I realized I made environmental unintentional changes to my workplace that happened to lessen the stress levels. Didn't realize it til they couldn't get my new insurance to cover my bipolar med in Jan. 2026. March 2026 was when they apparently stopped trying to get my medicine covered cause they stopped messaging me about any updates. So now it's been seven months that I've been off my meds but what's interesting is why am I improving instead of getting worse. I know, I'm eliminating stimuli that I may be sensitive to. After really sitting down and reflecting on my life, I thought that I may be autistic. They refuse to budge from the bipolar diagnosis. So I started to make personal accommodations like blocking the stores bright lights with a brimmed hat sitting down low. Allowed myself to pace and fidget like I did as a child. And a list of other de-stressors. And guess what??? No more "migraines", no more mysterious stomach issues, and for the first time that I can consciously remember, I'm not irritable and grumpy all the time, the vibration I would feel all the time goes away now with the techniques I'm learning from autism videos. Why do we pay this doctors when i had to discover things on my own to remedy my own medical issues. They were and still are no help. Just told me that they hope I find what I'm looking for with an autism evaluation. My response to that... "I'm looking for answers, that's all I'm looking for!" Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of assistance for adults who are undiagnosed autistic. The good thing is now I can improve myself, cause even though i don't have the official label, the techniques are actually working where over twenty years of medications were ineffective.

I had an…read moreappointment with a Dr. Nathan Birnbaum who I found to be wholly incompetent as a physician, a gaslighter who told me I'd never be able to see a dermatologist there after reporting to him my personal history of Basal cell on my face. I settled for an inadequate skin cancer screening by this doctor and I should have know better to trust him, because I now am being treated for an obvious cancerous Basal Cell lesion on my face which requires surgery--which he missed. His bedside manner is atrocious. he's curt, he lacks compassion and his care should be completely avoided. Caveat Emptor !
