I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this office has been extremely frustrating…read more For several weeks, I've been trying to get a pre-authorization for a medication needed for my colonoscopy preparation. Despite multiple calls, I keep hearing the same response -- that they will "follow up with the coordinator," but nothing actually gets done. There is no option to submit a complaint through the patient portal, and emails go unanswered. As a patient, this lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable, especially when it delays necessary medical care. The doctor may be good, but the office management is very disorganized and unresponsive. Because of this experience, I am seriously reconsidering having my procedure done here. I hope the office improves its communication and takes patient concerns more seriously.

He did not care at all. He knew my doctor passed away and formed an opinion before even listening to my concerns. I was appalled by his lack of compassion and his apathy. So was Dr Poole who promptly diagnosed my condition, and I received free sample medication that worked. That was that. Can't ask for more! Later, I went back and saw Dr Hyman who is great, and Trish the Nurse Practitioner who is also wonderful. Sarah at the front desk is also nice. Friendly place, and the longest I ever waited was an hour (often I wait much less) - I'd usually wait that long with an appointment at other doctors' offices. Here, no appointment needed. With the exception of the male staff member who did my initial intake, the rest of his staff was rude, incompetent and unhelpful. I SPECIFICALLY informed his staff of whom to send my test results to, and also told them not to release them to the other doctor at the practice. So they sent them to the doctor I instructed them not to send them to. After which I had to deal with an unpleasant encounter with a doctor I find nasty. In addition, despite being treated for a chronic condition his staff refused to provide with with a doctor's note for my job. Also, I had tests done and was NEVER informed of the results. I had to call multiple times and then was told that my primary care would discuss them with me. Since I went to Dr. Hindy, who was a specialist, I wanted to hear from him, in case I had questions. All I can say, is your staff is a reflection of you, and your values. A nasty incompetent staff tells me everything I need to know. Once again, these are my opinions, but I would not recommend this doctor based on my personal experience. I will now need to look for another gastroenterologist.
