He is so friendly and he's pretty good at remembering who you are so you don't feel like you're going to become just another patient in the crowd. His office is located a block away from Grand Central Station so it's pretty easy to get to him. The check in process was a bit confusing to me. I entered one office to check in and the was told to go to another office where I was being expected. When I walked into that office, they had no idea who I was and I had to repeat the process of answering check in question all over again. If Dr. Wolff schedules you for a procedure, it will likely be downtown at Liberty Endoscopy. His staff there is very efficient and on the ball with time management. After prep, Dr. Wolff comes in for a short but sincere chat on what will be happening, how you're feeling, and time to give answers to any questions you might have. The next time you see him, it will be in the OR and he explains everything to you again as well as make sure you are okay. I love that he is so genuine putting his patients first. He or his anesthesiologist will guide you into lullaby land as you drift off to oblivion. And then you wake up to find that everything is done. The Doc comes back to discuss his findings with you after you've had time to shake off the sleepiness. My Gastroenterologist is better than yours...lol.

I've seen Dr. Bosworth (and his PA, Selene) and Dr. Jacob and they are both outstanding (and articulate) physicians with true interest and expertise in IBD. If you like a laid-back personality and communication style, go for Dr. Bosworth and if you want an earnest personality, offering explanation and detail so you can follow the doc's thought processes, go for Dr. Jacob. Dr. Jacob is my primary and she's truly wonderful and responds almost immediately to phone calls, etc. when she can. Her style makes me confident in my understanding of the disease and therefor my ability take responsibility for my health and my care. I've also seen Dr. Raykher, an MD offering nutritional counseling. I only went to her once because I'm not really sure what I get out of nutrition advice.

My doctor is amazing. The waiting area is very spacious. I appreciate that the office is on the 1st floor, so there are no elevators or stairs to deal with. I didn't even speak to someone at the front desk because I logged in on their check-in system. I'm not too fond of the nurse who saw me. She tried to tell me tylenol and advil are the same thing. No, miss, they aren't. One makes my stomach bleed, and the other doesn't. As for the level of care my my doctor was great as usual. I'm glad she could squeeze me in for this emergency appointment. I did have to wait a little longer because of this, but she's worth it. I spent about 65 minutes in the office waiting after I saw the nurse. The nurse never told the doctor I was waiting for her. The whole office smelled and looked very clean. I appreciate how nice the office was kept. I'm not sure if I will see my doctor at this location again, tho. The front desk really didn't pay attention to the people at the door wanting to come in. Stars lost due to a nurse not knowing the difference between the meds. Then the front desk was a little out of it other people were frustrated. Stars lost because no one told my doctor I was here. The only type of care that was top-notch was my doctor.

My stomach was a mess for months -- I had my first doctor misdiagnose me (see Dr. Beckerman review) Then another doctor break up with me, basically told me my blood test results made no sense and told me there was nothing he can do. (He's lucky he doesn't have a page on yelp to review) Then Preeti Mehta to the rescue. Although my symptoms were bizarre, and nothing added up, she took initiative, put me on antibiotics immediately, and when that didn't go as planned, she gave me an endoscopy the SAME DAY as my appointment! She even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any emergencies. She is incredibly upbeat, super caring, and an all around genuine person.

On my initial visit I was kept waiting for 2 hours and ended up seeing a nurse practitioner because…read morethe doctor was unavailable. When I went in for my scheduled colonoscopy, I was kept waiting several hours before I was taken into the procedure room. I made a follow up appointment and was called that afternoon that the doctor was unavailable but she can call me later that day they would call to check me in to obtain my co-pay who charges a co-pay for a follow up to a procedure. I've never had to do that before they called me to check in 30 minutes after they said they would and the doctor would be calling me in 10 minutes. It is now an hour later and I still haven't received a call. I'm going into the office to collect my records and will never use this facility again.
