And if you look at him long enough you might mistake him for Justin Timberlake (He's been told this btw). He is so friendly and he's pretty good at remembering who you are so you don't feel like you're going to become just another patient in the crowd. His office is located a block away from Grand Central Station so it's pretty easy to get to him. The check in process was a bit confusing to me. I entered one office to check in and the was told to go to another office where I was being expected. When I walked into that office, they had no idea who I was and I had to repeat the process of answering check in question all over again. If Dr. Wolff schedules you for a procedure, it will likely be downtown at Liberty Endoscopy. His staff there is very efficient and on the ball with time management. After prep, Dr. Wolff comes in for a short but sincere chat on what will be happening, how you're feeling, and time to give answers to any questions you might have. The next time you see him, it will be in the OR and he explains everything to you again as well as make sure you are okay. I love that he is so genuine putting his patients first. He or his anesthesiologist will guide you into lullaby land as you drift off to oblivion. And then you wake up to find that everything is done. The Doc comes back to discuss his findings with you after you've had time to shake off the sleepiness. My Gastroenterologist is better than yours...lol.

I did my colonoscopy and endoscopy with courage, only because I knew that this doctor is very reliable. I highly recommend him to everyone. Expert in his field definitely. His office is very clean, and the people working there only reflect on the doctor. Aline R.

I've had the best Adult GI care at the Jill Roberts Center than anywhere else I've been in NYC…read more The team is great for a variety of GI (IBD: Crohn's, UC & IBS) issues. I've seen Dr. Bosworth (and his PA, Selene) and Dr. Jacob and they are both outstanding (and articulate) physicians with true interest and expertise in IBD. If you like a laid-back personality and communication style, go for Dr. Bosworth and if you want an earnest personality, offering explanation and detail so you can follow the doc's thought processes, go for Dr. Jacob. Dr. Jacob is my primary and she's truly wonderful and responds almost immediately to phone calls, etc. when she can. Her style makes me confident in my understanding of the disease and therefor my ability take responsibility for my health and my care. I've also seen Dr. Raykher, an MD offering nutritional counseling. I only went to her once because I'm not really sure what I get out of nutrition advice.

I rarely spend less than 5 minutes on hold when trying to reach the office via phone and several times have had to wait upwards of 25 minutes. Today I called twice (once in the morning and once in the afternoon) to book an emergency appointment. Both times I was informed that someone would return my call shortly. Unsurprisingly, nobody ever called me back. I managed to book my appointment by showing up and asking in person. The process took about 90 seconds. It's unfathomable to me why those same 90 seconds couldn't have been spent returning my phone call and sparing me a trip all the way up to 70th and York. This is hardly the first time they failed to return my call. The last time I went to the office for an appointment, I overheard two of the receptionists literally making fun of a foreign-accented patient who had come in asking for a consultation. In hindsight, that really should have been the last straw. After today's drama, I'm searching for a new gastroenterologist. Long story short: the doctors are great, the reception staff is either lazy or just plain sadistic. I still haven't decided.

My doctor is amazing. The waiting area is very spacious. I appreciate that the office is on the 1st floor, so there are no elevators or stairs to deal with. I didn't even speak to someone at the front desk because I logged in on their check-in system. I'm not too fond of the nurse who saw me. She tried to tell me tylenol and advil are the same thing. No, miss, they aren't. One makes my stomach bleed, and the other doesn't. As for the level of care my my doctor was great as usual. I'm glad she could squeeze me in for this emergency appointment. I did have to wait a little longer because of this, but she's worth it. I spent about 65 minutes in the office waiting after I saw the nurse. The nurse never told the doctor I was waiting for her. The whole office smelled and looked very clean. I appreciate how nice the office was kept. I'm not sure if I will see my doctor at this location again, tho. The front desk really didn't pay attention to the people at the door wanting to come in. Stars lost due to a nurse not knowing the difference between the meds. Then the front desk was a little out of it other people were frustrated. Stars lost because no one told my doctor I was here. The only type of care that was top-notch was my doctor.

Dr. Colonel's office was absolutely beautiful and we are pleasantly pleased with our choice. The office felt like a modern Grecian atmosphere. Everything was white, marble-like design. Clean modern office. First impression was top notch! Checked in with the lovely ladies at the desk who were pleasant and professional. Our dual consult appointment was scheduled and seen on time. Dr. Colonel was professional, thorough, reviewed our health history and most importantly made us laugh! His energy was magnetic! Our scheduled colonoscopy's went flawless. From the time we walked in, sat down for a few minutes. Then called in to get ready, the nurse was amiable with a great sense of humor! The entire experience felt like I was part of a comedy show ! All the nurses and even the anesthesiologists were humorous and caring. Smiles going in and smiles coming out! Start to finish 1 hour. Doctor provided me with a result of my colonoscopy. Said I'll see him 5-7 years! Thank you for making my first experience pleasurable and now my husband is grateful to have found a new doctor for his needs. We felt in goods hands at East End Gastro! Highly recommended by both of us!
