Lino Chuang sold his practice to a Hospital and as of 8/1 the place is under new management. We were told casually that they are changing management but no one officially send us a notice to notify us that billing will change. I usually run to PT after work and the front desk all in the sudden disappeared. It is Impossible to connect with the front desk person Sylvia who is fantastic. Calls are now automated and directed to at call center that no one knows anything besides giving you an appointment. On one of my visits I overheard another patient disputing charges on her bill. Since my insurance wasn't accepted I had to pay annual fee and the rest was covered by my insurance now with the new management I will be billed for copay for each visit in addition to the $200 I paid in April. Honestly it became too messy and hearing how messy is the transition I rather not continue with PT until it's clear how the new management will be handling patients and billing. If you are existing patient of ECPT I suggest you find out how Montefiore will bill you. They better have Christina the late shift front desk back as there are patients coming for therapy after 5 pm . I really like Lino Cheung and his original team and wish them good luck but I'm not paying to talk to a machine and call center representative that has no clue.

As soon as it was safe , I was recommended to Excellent Choice, Lino Chuang. I was in incredible pain. Somehow he was able get me very comfortable in one appointment!! I immediately started treatment according to his recommendations in terms of how many times to come in. Literally I got better with each treatment. I truly thought there was no hope. I highly recommend him and I keep a bunch of his cards with me at all times. I've recommended him to everyone Can't thank him enough Very happy I went to this office

As a former professional soccer player in the U.S., having played in both the NASL and MISL, I've had my fair share of injuries--three arthroscopic knee surgeries, a medial collateral ligament repair, and an ankle surgery during my career. That meant a lot of physical therapy over the years, so I've experienced many different PT providers. Nick is hands down the best physical therapist I've worked with, and John is an excellent assistant. Their knowledge, care, and attention to detail set them apart. Most recently, I've had two knee replacements, and I can't begin to express how successful the rehab process has been thanks to them. They are truly exceptional at what they do. Thank you, Prevail!

Wish I could give this place 10 gold stars…read more I came to Fit Club about 1.5 years ago, with a bad shoulder injury that was really frustrating in so many areas of my life. I had forgotten even how to have a good attitude about it. As we all know, having a body means you have setbacks sometimes -- but my experience at Fit Club in the last almost two years has taught me how to be strong, put one foot in front of the other, breathe, and achieve milestones, inch by inch, day by day. My experience doing PT sessions with Dr. Manny, and Dr. Kellen have been nothing short of transformational. There's a really positive and safe environment for people at all levels here. The music is always bumping, the receptionists are keeping it running, trainers are positive and helpful, and people are working out alongside each other, each day, to meet their fitness goals. People just start smiling in there. There's so. Much. Great. Equipment. I never get bored or feel uncomfortable, in any way. They sort of go out of their way at every level to help you reach your fitness or movement goals. Having been to many physical therapy places over this years, this is hands down the most personalized program engagement I've ever experienced. I think this has to do with the leadership's mentality and work ethic. They share their values and appear to exercise them every day, accepting people of all gender identities, age, or background abilities. I've seen all kinds of heartwarming moments of community connection in their Astoria location. My goals have changed as I've overcome my original injury -- now I'm lifting weights! Now I'm running! Even with other health setbacks that emerged throughout my time working with them (and we adapted our work!), I never could have imagined myself in such a strong, empowered, and grounded body. Thanks, Fit Club!

I've now come here via ClassPass twice to use the Air Relax Recovery Boots. The staff was really…read morenice both times. The first time I went to this location, it was also my first time trying this type of compression boot and I appreciated the explanation and answers to my questions. It turns out there are different levels of compression on this particular machine with 1 as the lowest and 4 as the highest. I started with 3 and then went to a 4 (each time it's 15 min and this was for a 30 min session). For me, I realized that when my foot is all the way inside the boot, my toes get crunched and it's a bit unpleasant. Fortunately, I was able to adjust this after the first 15 minutes and had them stick out which drastically improved the experience. The first time I came, I had completed a half 3 days prior so my soreness was not nearly as bad anymore. I didn't feel any dramatic effect though this was largely due to how I felt before I started the boot session. I decided to come back and try it closer to my initial recovery period to see if there would be more tangible results! Fast forward to my more recent visit, I'm happy to report that while there's no miracle wonder that fully takes all your pain and soreness away, I did notice a more visible improvement after the 30 min session the second time I went in. This time I went 2 days after my half but I had also run the next day so this was a day after running 2 runs in a row (day 1 was significantly more mileage than day 2). My legs were still visibly sore prior and I could also feel soreness when I squatted. After the session, (same 3 to 4 progression) I tried squatting again and it was a lot less sore (and this was noticeable immediately). I do think that there's a bit of a learning curve with the compression boots but I'd do 4 and 4 next time since it would likely achieve the best results. The staff there is really nice and someone checks up on you 15 minutes in to set the next level of compression. They sanitize the boots after (between sessions) so it feels like they also have good practices in place. I chose to wear leggings and that seemed to work well both times. I'd definitely come back and book future appointments and this is definitely something that's helpful for more immediate recovery (less impactful if it's a few days out).
