This company is terrible and should be legally held accountable for it. None of their support staff is certified to do clinical work capillary blood draws or basic vitals. The vaccines aren't stored properly so your children may or may not be getting expired vaccines. Due to the lack of training the support staff may or may not enter the correct vaccines into your child's chart leading to delays in school forms for admissions into camp, sports etc. or even worse double dosing. Which can have serious adverse reactions. They leak patient information and payment information as well. If you love your children , take them to a family doctor. Tribeca Pediatrics is the fast food joint of healthcare in terms of quality. read more

Due to the new covid-19, They now have started teleconsulting, via zoom. Which is just another way to get an extra copay, before they call you to the office. The zoom conference was nothing but as useless as a phone call, the same questions could have been asked on the phone. Instead they charged our card once for the zoom call when the 'doctor' on zoom told us to go to the clinic to be seen in person, where they charged another copay. Which, btw, was also not very useful. How shamelessly exploiting the current crisis! EDIT: They refunded our card for the 'second copay charge made in error'. read more

It deserves 0 stars and better compliance. Our daughter went in because she had congestion and a fever. The doctor Cuola's remedy was an injection of steroids into a 2.8 year old body. The problem was they injected too much and it caused her to go into an uncontrollable hyperactive behavior, an overdose. The state lasted for 2 days and we had to go back only to hear this doctor say at least her lungs were clear. There is clearly no oversight when there is a demand for these minute clinics for kids and no recourse as the insurance providers are not likely to do anything unless resulting in death. My advice to you parents out there don't be deceived by bedside manners over experience, go somewhere else quickly!!!! read more

I have been bringing my kids to Tribeca Pediatrics for the past 16 years. They have grown and prospered. And with growth comes a level of disorganization and miscommunication. And this is understandable, however I am loath to accept the level of disorganization of this mammoth practice. Just getting a medical form completed for my child was an ordeal, one in which I spent weeks chasing down doctors and administrators. I strongly urge this practice to GET ITS ACT TOGETHER and update its technology -- the portal solution, as well as the telephony platform, lead much to be desired -- so that it can simply respond to its patients in a timely manner. read more

We attend the East Village location with our three children - the Pros - Dr. Shuwulf is wonderful and takes her time talking with us and discussing developmental issues ranging from mental health to diet and sleep. The staff there is also lovely. She is a mother herself and her advice is always sound. Also - if you ever have a sick need - you can always get into one of the other offices to be treated if your doctor isnt in or is booked (and they have weekend hours). Also, I've found it rather easy to get our forms electronically. The Cons - we moved here from a practice that moved out of NYC - our old doctor would pick up his cell phone and always called us back directly. Here you are routed to a central line and are called back from a nurse.. I wish we had a means to speak to our regular doctor directly but since our kids are thankfully healthy and low maintenance - it hasn't been an issue. read more

Well our last review was kicked off because I cited some sources that directly contradicted the health information given to us multiple times by doctors, nurse, and on call staff here. Yelp said that wasn't allowed. So apparently they'd just like my biased opinion without cited sources indicating all the places we were given misinformation based on our child's ethnicity. Go here if you are both Caucasian with a 100% Northern European Decent and so is your child. Then their advice is sound. But if you are even from Italy, their casually correlated numbers have a 65% chance of failing your family. That isn't a risk I want to take with ours. We knew our baby was having digestive issues. We also both know we do not process lactose well. We asked for a soy and lactose free formula which they said they could write a prescription for but since they like "make sure every baby gains weight" they really didn't care less of his digestive issues. And update, we found a Medicaid Doctor to write us a script for Lactose/Soy Free formula and we are getting help paying for it, our son is enjoying eating and digesting, and is gaining more than enough weight despite the offices plea to get us NOT to use this formula. For no reason other than their own beliefs. Sorry but medical care has to be applicable to people. Not to books or personal agendas. Also have fun paying over $1000 in "wellness visit" which is just weighing your baby. Which you can also do at home and get an actual baby scale and measurement device. They mark lines on the exam table from top of the head to heel. My infant wouldn't stay still enough for me to be convinced this was a real length to put him into a %. You think you're doing a good thing and then because you're tired from just having a kid, you kinda just do what they say and don't question. You gonna try to pay to get this one deleted too? Cause that wasn't nice. I have far more citation and data than I posted but there is a character limit apparently both on this website and in your office ;) In the end there are plenty of doctors in the world, like restaurants and not every kitchen is going to satisfy everyone. Chose this practice for convenience as it's located fairly close to our home but had to switch to a new pediatrician after a year of going here. Complaints: This place turns and burns patients like a restaurant turns tables. It's very quantity over quality. You won't realize this at first - not until you really need them to go above and beyond a height & weight check. They will ask you every time you schedule an appointment if you care what doctor you see. Um... yes, when dealing with children in particular most people would like to deal with the same doctor every visit so we don't have to get re-acquainted and re-explain our entire back story every time we come and so our child is comfortable. Seeing a strange, new doctor every visit is confusing and anxiety provoking for both parents and kids. Grrrrrrr. If an emergency pops up and they don't have time to fit you in, they'll shovel you off to a different location. Remember - quantity vs quality. The young girls who do all the well check up height & weight checks move quickly and carelessly. We've had to ask them on numerous occasions to do them over again and they ended up being wrong! So pay attention when they're cruising through this part of your visit. Weight can be a crucial measurement for some babies and it's vital that these are done accurately! The toys in the waiting room look like they haven't been cleaned in ages. I never let my child play with them but use your discretion. The doctors in this practice never sit and I've never had a visit that lasted more then 10 minutes for the entire year we went here. If an issue arises, there isn't a lot of sensitivity or communication. If you need to call your doctor or this location in particular - you are directed to a CALL CENTER first. Important referrals come from a CALL CENTER REP. Oh and if want to switch practices and get your info - they charge you $0.75 per page and you first have to contact the CALL CENTER where they then ask you to email a generic info email to request your medical history. This practice is about charging patients, getting them in and out, doing it as quick as possible and there isn't much in regards to the doctor patient experience or relationship. I am disappointed that I hadn't realized all of this sooner and that i now have to move my toddler to a new pediatrician. But I found an award winning one not too far from here and she told me she's had quite a few transfers from Tribeca! That speaks volumes in itself! Stay away! Your baby deserves a genuine interaction with caring professionals who truly take the time to invest their all into each child. read more

Dr Gold has been my family's pediatrician from day one. Over the last 10 years I have called or visited with new parent anxiety over diet, vaccines, sleep issues, travel questions, etc... later it moved into high fevers, a broken bone, flus, hives, adolescence, etc... Every single time I have called or visited I was always somewhere on the spectrum of mildly concerned to slightly terrified. The response from Dr Gold and the whole staff was always the same, calm, confident and with a level of care that made me feel like somehow my family was the most important thing to them. I don't know how they do it but they always do. I am so thankful for this practice and in particular, the people at the Park Slope location. read more

Only had one visit thus far for my newborn lil man, but it was perfect. Just like him. (Of course I am biased) From the time we entered to the time we left, we had excellent service. What first time parents don't have the jitters about everything with their newborn. Our nurse and doctor were simply the best, albeit with two very different styles. There's two separate waiting areas, one for well visits and one for sick visits. No cross contamination here...way to go. Next visit is real soon. Looking forward to it. read more

I have had an overall great experience with Tribeca Pediatrics! We have been with them since our daughter was born, and have loved every doctor and nurse practitioner that we've worked with. We're always seen promptly and I find the waiting room pleasant and clean. I like that they separate the "well visit" kids from any sick kids. Much appreciated. We love Dr. Saterlee. Her manner and kindness with little babies is incredible. I love how soft and gentle she is... even with shots! There is a new doctor, Katie, that we've just seen recently as well. She's so smart, funny, and easy going - it really sets me at ease. Her philosophies really match up with our parenting techniques and it makes me feel really secure in my choices. Overall, I've really loved our doctors, and they've really loved my daughter. :) Would recommend for new parents in the area for sure! read more

Overall our family's experience here was just ok. I did have some good experiences here, like right when I needed it a week after my child was born, they had someone come in to give a breast-feeding class, and it was amazing. It completely helped me with the feeding for that child and to know what to do for my next child too. Although I do realize it wasn't actually Tribeca Pediatrics giving the class, but someone either they had brought in, or that was using their space. But still - I found out about it through one of my baby's first well visits and it was just perfect. I liked the toys that they had in the office, even though I see some other reviewers complaining about them. I thought my kids really enjoyed them, and they were nice at the time, at least. I do have a few things I really did not like: 1. They favor early cry-it-out starting at 8 weeks, and gave me the direction of putting the baby in the crib at 7pm, closing the door, and not going in there until 7am. Cruel. Even adults have needs in 12 hours, which include being hungry or thirsty, needing to adjust temperature, needing to use the bathroom....and our bodies are able to be full for longer. Imagine the body of a 8 week old that can't retain as much water - how thirsty they'd get in the span of 12 hours. Or having to lie in dirty diapers for many hours. Or lie in vomit for many hours - as it's common for little babies to vomit. Or overheat or be too cold. It's just cruel, and instinctually as a mother it doesn't seem right to me. I almost left the practice just because of this, and I probably would if I was still there. Really - you wouldn't even lock an adult in a room/bed for 12 hours with absolutely nothing - no food, water, "bathroom". 2. Once I came into the office with my baby, checked in, and they forgot about me. They saw patients after me, and only after I had waited for an hour and a half, noticed I was still waiting in the waiting room. The doctor came out to apologize, and said they missed me, and said if I had a co-pay (which I didn't), they would waive it. 3. They had this after-hours line we could call to get help - I think they would page a doctor to call back. When they called back, the person on the line couldn't have been more annoyed that I had called asking for help. She was not helpful and she wasn't even nice or courteous. 4. When my daughter had colic, they prescribed things that didn't work. A bit of a waste of time and money. read more

Tribeca Pediatrics in my GO TO. Dr. TJ Gold has been a wonderful physician to my child for almost a decade. Dr. Gold is deeply invested in each child's care. It's clear from talking with her how much she is personally involved with each child. Her knowledge and bedside manner is IMPRESSIVE and WARM. The staff is always professional and prompt! Camp and school forms a SNAP! Office is CLEAN and WELL-DESIGNED! The organic lollipops for a post-visit treat are NICE bonus. :-). read more

It's been about 3 years since my last review. I'm a little horrified by the reviews I'm seeing as they can't be further away from the loving, kind, and most magnificent attention my children have gotten for now 8 full years. Yes, we have been going to Tribeca Pediatrics for 8 years and I don't ever recall waiting longer than 15 minutes. Perhaps there might have been one high traffic day before the holidays when the office was slammed that we waited 20 minutes. They saw my children at the last minute so a wait was understandable and even expected! I wanted to address some things that other people have mentioned. There was a statement about being 100% Caucasian in association with medical attention and I really have to dispute this quite awful and untrue statement. We are a family of color and one of the many reasons we love Tribeca Pediatrics is because of the fair and most diplomatic way they treat everyone. Though we visit the Park Slope branch (a neighborhood that may be considered majority Caucasian), there is nothing rude, dismissive, or hierarchical about their service. They are fair and kind. Every doctor who has seen my children, has treated them with respect and gentleness. I also wanted to say something about how the children are seen. We go to Tribeca Pediatrics both for annual well visits and many, many last minute mysterious illness visits. They have never hesitated in squeezing us in and finding the time to see the children. In these cases, I may see our regular doctor, Dr. Gold, or Bridie, or another physician. In these cases, I wouldn't expect to see my regular physician because I just called 3 hours previous to ask for an urgent visit so I'm really baffled about the complaints of seeing different doctors every so often. They are all excellent. I don't understand why someone might complain about a doctor's office finding a suitable physician at either their regular location or another. They are trying to be accommodating. I'd like to also address the length of time my children are seen. Yes, it's a busy office and, yes, the doctor's do their very best to see the patients as efficiently as possible. If you're looking for a Little House on the Prairie doctor who is able to speak to you about the onerous weather and the crops, this is not a place for you. They are interested in seeing your child, assessing the ailment, and helping them. They do this efficiently and, in my children's case, they have never been wrong. I'm a New Yorker. I don't need a lot of small talk though I need for physicians to be kind, thoughtful, and correct. They fulfill this very need. Lastly, there was someone who complained about dingy toys. These are sweet, well designed toys that children play with on a regular basis. It's not the Ritz Carlton. The atmosphere is however, extremely clean, hip, and beautifully lit, with an open, airy feeling. I just feel I had to jump in here to really give a fair assessment. I respect the thoughtful views of anyone who might have had a negative experience but this haven has really saved our children time and time again. My children (who are growing up fast) still look forward to the office, the lollipops, seeing familiar and friendly doctors. They are excited to go to the doctor. The fact that this feeling hasn't wavered after all of these years says it all. read more

It is truly unfortunate. After hearing the name of the practice from a few different sources, after discovering that a number of the offices had weekend hours, after visiting the introduction to the practice session and after learning that a Ditmas location would be opening soon, since we live in South Brooklyn; we were sold and after our daughter was born we made our first appointment at the Warren street office. That visit went fairly well despite the doctor forgetting to check the hearing, particularly since the hospital included a referral for a follow up hearing test. We were hoping to keep using this office but apparently we couldn't make Saturday appointments for the well visits for some reason. So we had to chose another office for the following week's visit and official hearing test. Still not sure why we couldn't have it done at that time. But alas, we made an appointment at the Park Slope office during the weekday, and my husband had to take a day off so that we could get there. That's when everything went wrong. First, try finding the exact address of the location. I found at least two while searching on the phone so we ended up being a few minutes late and when I called to let them know that (not that I could find the direct phone number, ended up calling Warren street office) was told that if we are 15 minutes late they may have to reschedule. Reschedule? You're talking to first time parents with a screaming newborn, rescheduling is not really an option. Finally we get there and go to the "newborn" area which for some reason was filled with older kids and parents. We were seen fairly soon (that's probably the only plus). The medical assistant tried to do the hearing test and the machine kept giving error messages so we were told someone else will try to check. Then there was confusion as to whether or not we needed to weigh and measure the baby (isn't that what we came for? Isn't out primary concern weight gain at this point?!?) finally looked liked we were going to do all those things and have the doc come in and check her. The doc was pleasant but aside from nodding to our questions didn't really add much to the conversation. We felt totally out of realm, what happened to guiding parents philosophy??? The final straw was us waiting for someone to try the hearing test again (the other primary reason we came there) trying to calm our little bundle of 10 days old. I guess we were the only ones that were concerned that our daughter kept failing the hearing test which the state eventually has to receive information for. Waiting wasn't getting us anywhere. I checked with the medical assistant who said someone will be there. Waiting more. Check again, doc comes back to tell us that they have two other patients to see and that we're basically holding up the room. If we want the hearing test we can wait till the monthly well visit or we can wait for end of day after she's done with all appointments. I'm totally at a loss for words now and my husband is furious. Hearing test was one of two major reasons why we were there. we were told at the hospital that we needed to ensure the follow up hearing visit within 4 weeks, so monthly check in wasn't an option. and waiting more hours?! We have a newborn?!?! Totally and completely disappointed with the practice and our visit after such high expectations that they themselves set. Perhaps the practice is better suited for more confident parents (I don't know of any) or at least for those with older kids and more flexible working schedules. This was not for us and we'll have to take our daughter elsewhere. read more

Several people recommended Tribeca Pediatrics to us when we were expecting our first child last spring. Unfortunately since our daughter was born our experience was not great. The doctors were often dismissive of our concerns and told us not to worry so much. I'm OK being told that an issue is not a cause for concern if I'm taken seriously and given a thorough explanation, but we didn't even feel we got that much out of them. They would brush off many of our worries and a few of those issues had to escalate before they would take us seriously. That's not something any parent wants to have to put their child through. The other major problem we had is with their extreme view of sleep training. They strongly favor "Cry it Out" training starting at 8 weeks old, which is insane. Our daughter had some sleep issues and the only solution they would advise was leaving our 3 month old in a room for 12 hours at night without entering. When we objected to this, they told us that was really the only answer. Our experiences, especially the sleep training, left us very cold to them to the extent that we decided to change practices when our daughter was 4 months old. We've gotten much better care for our daughter and now have a doctor who actually has full conversations with us about our concerns and has given us a range of sleep solutions to try. But Tribeca even made switching a hassle, as they make you pay $20 to obtain your child's medical records. I made the payment and 3 weeks later they still hadn't sent them. I had to call and they had record of my payment but never processed the request. This only reinforced our decision to leave. read more

Tribeca Pediatrics has been our family pediatric office for over a decade. Dr. Gold is one of the most knowledgable, caring people I have ever met. My wife and I feel so lucky to have had her as our guide to this parenting thing as it can be a very overwhelming. I would recommend Tribeca Pediatrics to any new parent who is unsure of the road ahead. If I could give this place a NEGATIVE rating, I would. After waiting 45 minutes to see an attendant, we were given a room. The attendant (nurse? not sure) quickly mis-measured my 4-month old's length and head circumference so bad his record says his percentiles dipped from from the 90th to the 8th for length (he's too long for most of his 6-month sized feet-in pjs) and from the 50th to the 6th percentile for head (I can't guarantee this didn't happen, but considering how terribly inaccurate the length, I'm going to assume the other measurement is wrong). Then, we saw Dr. Gold for 5 minutes, during which time she never asked me if I breast feed or formula feed, then told my husband that vitamin D drops are optional. They're not optional if you're breast feeding. I will NEVER EVER EVER take my child to this or any other Tribeca Pediatrics locations. read more

I really like this place. We have been taking my son for the last 2.5 years and every doctor that we have ever had has been friendly and highly competent. The wait time is never long and the support staff are always efficient. I also love the office, very modern with wooden toys that my son always loves to play with while we wait! Additionally, I like that they are open later than most dorctors offices and they have weekend visiting hours. Yes they are not quick to give yout antibiotics like others have mentioned but I personally have no issue with that. read more

My kids aren't babies anymore, they just come for yearly check-ups and immunizations, but it seems like they spend a lot of time with new parents, which is really nice. One rotten egg does unfortunately mess up an otherwise good cake. The desk staff here has always been friendly and helpful to me, and you know how tough to find that can be sometimes. However there is one doctor, Tricia Gold, who apparently cannot handle being asked reasonable questions. This so-called professional literally hung the phone up on me for asking about a sexuality quiz she gave our 12 year old son (without notice or consent), then (as I was informed later) proceeded to badmouth me in front our son and his mother, saying "he always does this, I can't have him disrupting our appointments". As if asking questions about what they'd like to do to/for our son was somehow outside our rights; as if we should just do as she says blindly and without explanations; as if she had the right to arbitrarily exclude an involved father. Astonishing, and truly unfortunate. Avoid Dr. Gold unless you just want to do as you're told without information or explanation. read more

My experience at Tribeca Pediatrics Park Slope has been nothing but stellar - and I have three kids ranging from age 5 to 13 so we have had a lot of visits for various reasons over the years ... Our regular pediatrician is Dr. Gold and I can't say enough great things about her. My kids all love seeing her! She really knows how to zone in on the individual child and makes them feel very heard and special. As a parent, I trust her judgement & skills completely: she is extremely knowledgable, thorough without being alarmist, and I'm in awe of her ability to administer shots that barely get noticed by the little patients... ;) We have also recently had a great experience with Dr. Coelho who was extremely kind and professional as well. One of the main things that sets them apart is the amount of time they spent with the patient! I had brief stints at other pediatric offices before arriving at Tribeca and I have always felt rushed during the visits. Not here! The office as a whole is friendly, well-run, and clean. Never have I experienced long waits or billing issues. School forms and prescriptions are dealt with in a very timely manner if not instantly. All in all, I would highly recommend this practice to other parents! read more

My daughter has been a patient at Tribeca Pediatrics since 6/2010 . Since our last visit in October 2013, my daughter has continued to have chronic cough and respiratory issues and the practice has not provided a resolution to this issue. The practice models themselves to having a distinctive philosophy in providing " Personalized Care" but it seems the practice has become a revolving door for pediatric physicians and has failed to maintain consistency in my daughters treatments; there is nothing personal in seeing a new face during my most frequent visits to the practice. Tribecca Pediatrics has certainly lost sight of its original goal to provide care to its patients and become more driven to pushing Dr. Cohen's book and opening satellite locations in your upper middle class neighborhoods. If your looking for a practice that has eye catching wall paper for the kids a bacteria catching play area, then choose Tribeca Pediatrics; that's all they offer. They are just a neighborhood fad that's played out. I'm choosing to take my daughter and our private insurance elsewhere. read more

We went to this practice for many years, but left about a year ago. There is always a wait time. ALWAYS. Up to and over an hour. Then, when you get the doctor, the advice is dubious. I've been told that my daughter who received a tic bite in the Berkshires doesn't need a test for Lyme's disease. Her basis? "My boyfriend who grew up in India had tics all the time and never worried about Lymes'." Yeah - it doesn't exist there and your boyfriend shouldn't be the basis of your medical advice. Or being told there is no reason to test for RSV, only to insist on it (a simple, non-invasive test) to find out that yes, it is RSV, and yes, they have had many cases of it in the practice. Or being told you don't need to go to a specialist, then at another visit, yes, you must go!, only to hear that one should have looked at the provider's face to know that it wasn't serious, and no, we didn't need to go. Or misdiagnosing ringworm. Or getting a recommendation for a terrible specialist, only to be told after getting a second opinion, oh, yes, that specialist (the one you found on your own) is the best. Oh, and don't forget about the medical assistants who scream your child's name from all the way across the office when it is finally your turn to be seen. Avoid, avoid, avoid. The good news is that they have beautiful offices, good office hours, lots of locations, good with insurance, and good phone support. But if you want any medical advice, look elsewhere. read more

I'm afraid I'm done with this practice. Been with them for 4 years - saw Dr Gold the first time she was lovely, attentive and kind. Every time I go I see a different doctor who is completely disengaged and not in the slightest bit interested in me or my kid. I can never get a convenient appointment even with three weeks notice - when I arrive for my appointment I always wait for over an hour to be seen then a robotic po faced doctor comes in and I'm done in less than 5 minutes. Good things about the Park Slope location are the guys on reception and the nurses who are all friendly and good at their jobs - the downside are the doctors who are unfriendly and totally suck. The larger this practice is becoming the more cold and unwelcoming they are. read more

I brought my baby here and the place reeked of some sort of floor refinishing product. I had an instant headache, the receptionist apologized but obviously, any doctor who thinks it's OK to have newborn babies (I counted 3 in the waiting room) exposed to this kind of intense toxic chemical smell while waiting for an appointment is nothing more than what I was told this place was...a doc in the box. If you need an emergency appointment, I guess it will do but I wouldn't even consider it as a primary care situation. And, for what it's worth, the nurses are awful and the doctor is strange. Bridie, the nurse practitioner seems caring and smart and on top of things but she's the only person I'd see there again. Ended up at Tribeca Pediatrics in Ft. Greene (referred down there by the Bay Ridge office because of scheduling). They were awesome..

My first two appointments with Tribeca Pediatrics were good, but this last one today was frustrating enough for me to strongly NOT recommend this office. I had my daughters 6 week old immunization shots scheduled for today. As she is only 6 weeks old, I was running late and arrived 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, thinking that of any office - a Pediatrician would be able to understand. I checked in and the Receptionist gave me no indication that there would be any long delay. After waiting 30 minutes and watching several older kids who arrived after my baby be called into their appointment, I went up and checked in with the front desk who said "because you were late we let a few other patients ahead of you, so now it will be awhile". When i asked how long, they said at least 20 minutes - but they can get a nurse to do my immunization shots sooner. Which was quite confusing - as a)they should have told me upon checkin there was a time issue and b)the only reason for my appointment to begin with was the shots. The nurse called us in a few minutes later and seemed confused on what shots we were even getting which was discouraging. When I went to check out I was told first my doctor was booked past my daughters 8 weeks, but I could see another doctor. When I said that was Ok, the story changed and all of a sudden ALL doctors were booked until the week after. The final straw was after coming home after being at the office for an hour, I had been advised to call if the baby had any issues or pain from the shots. When I called the emergency number I was told all nurses were busy and one would call me back in a few minutes. 45 minutes later, I received the call finally. Thankfully, my father is a Pediatrician and I was able to get ahold of him sooner to get the dosage information for baby tylenol. Overall - I am very disappointed with the care and service received today. I felt the office was rude, unhelpful and did not value me or my daughter as patients for this practice. I walked by a few other pediatrician offices on 5th avenue and will be scheduling my 8 week appointment elsewhere. read more

We've taken our daughter to Bridie Hatch, PNP at Tribeca Pediatrics in Park Slope since she was born about a year and a half ago, and we couldn't have found a better partner in our child's health. I think that both your practitioner and the practice as a whole play an important part of your experience with a pediatrician's office, so I'll speak to both here. Bridie is exceptionally knowledgable, intuitive, and is just a delight to interact with. She has addressed each of our concerns with respect, insight, and a level of knowledge that shows she has synthesized her many patient experiences with evidence-based medicine. We don't follow the party-line with many of the Michel Cohen-led dictums of the practice (like sleep training, starting solids with purees, ignoring tantrums--we co-sleep, started the babe on whole foods, and talk out our feelings), but Bridie meets us where we are, without judgment. We've seen other practitioners (doctors, all) at both Park Slope and the Tribeca locations, and have been happy with the care-- though I will say when I bring my kiddo in for a same-day sick visit, I expect them to triage her, not provide some sort of lovey-dovey continuity of practitioner. The trade off for having an efficiently run practice is that you don't see the same person for each and every runny nose (and I would argue, you don't need to-- save that relationship building for well visits). We've also never, ever had to wait more than 5 minutes for Bridie, even when we're the last appointment of the day. As for the practice-- yes, the design is nice, but I could care less whether there were Flock of Seagulls and Thomas Kinkade posters in the office. Outside of our love for our provider, I appreciate the practice for its efficiency. All of our visit info is on the site within minutes of the visit, forms are completed within 24 hours, and I can make an appointment for any day of the week and talk to a provider within 20 minutes for urgent matters, any time of night or day. The most important bit of any good healthcare relationship is trust, and Tribeca Pediatrics Park Slope has ours in droves. read more

I love Tribeca pediatric have been going to this office for 5 years. I have 3 kids, I have been to the park Slope location only. I always try to see same doctor for every well visit. I feel is important for my kids to see a familiar face on their visit as well me having a professional relationship with the doctor providing care for my kids .We mostly see Bribed Hatch and if she is not available then Dr. satelli. They are wonderful caring , good manners, friendly with my kids even when my 2 yr old don't want to be examine she is very patiently and make the visit very smoothly, am very happy with their medical advise and it always work. I love, love, love Tribeca Pediatrics. We have been with the Park Slope practice since it opened, conveniently just a few days before the birth of our son. I am sure their style isn't for everyone. Personally, I love the relaxed "enjoy your children, don't turn them into a science experiment" philosophy, but on the few occasions when we've had more serious issues I've felt completely confident in Dr. Gold. What sparked me to write the review is how completely convenient they make my life -- many things (ie getting health forms for daycare) can be done electronically, and I can ask minor questions via email rather than play phone tag all day. I wish my own doctor's office ran so efficiently. read more
