This place just gave me a very odd experience.
With 1.5hrs to wait before a film started, I dropped in here with a friend for a quick bite and a coffee.
First to arrive was my friend's Spiced Chai - Absolutely fantastic, definitely one of the better chais around.
Next, about 10 minutes later, my Bailey's Cappuccino arrived. It was served, rather impressively, in a margarita glass, and was a good balance, but the 10 minute wait seemed strange...
15 minutes after that, my friend's toasted sandwich arrived. Listed as a tramezzino on the menu, it had bacon and pickles, had been ordered with gorgonzola in place of mozzarella, and it was absolutely outstanding. A real "if you are in Kraków, try this!" item.
20 minutes later however, my order of a simple burger still hadn't arrived. For those of you not keeping track, this is now 50 minutes after ordering. I asked the very pleasant waitress if I should expect to wait much longer, at which she very apologetically said she was herself surprised and would go and ask the kitchen what was happening. After being told it would be another 10 minutes before my burger was ready, I was unfortunately forced to leave without waiting for it.
I then checked yelp and found a collection of reviews in Polish, most of which mentioning the waiting times with no lack of scorn.
So, a very nice place with a great environment, free WiFi, and excellent food.. But don't go if you don't have all day. read more
