We were considering driving from out of state to purchase a used vehicle. The sales person (Peycen)…read morewas very rude and unprofessional. He refers to his customers as "hey man" as if we are standing around at a beach party. The vehicle he was trying to sell us supposedly had "no damage" until I pointed out a significant fender scrape from the posted photos. It needed repairing for sure. He replied, "Hey man what do you expect it's a used car"! Needless to say, his attitude lost him a sale which did not seem to bother him much. What a joke of a dealership to hire such sales people.

I cannot say enough about the service we received here. You just don't find people like this very…read moreoften nowadays. We first heard of R&S from my mother who while in Rexburg had her AC go out. It was in the upper 90's outside and my mom has health conditions that make her susceptible to heat. She was very panicked about driving home to SLC without AC. She called a bigger chain and they told her they did not have time to fit her in and that their waitlist was several weeks out. They called A&S for my mom. A&S fit her in that day and got her AC working for her drive home. She gave us their name and number and told us that if our daughter (attending BYUi) had trouble with her car to call A&S. Hardly believable, almost one week later my daughter had trouble with her alternator. She was able to coast it into her apartment parking lot and called home in tears. I remembered how A&S had taken care of my mom just a week before. I immediately called them. The service we received was impeccable. They picked up my daughters car that day. Diagnosed the problem and gave us options the next day. The following day we had a call that the work was all done. My daughter had no way to pick up the car, so A&S came and picked her up at her apartment and took her to pick up her car. Way above and beyond what would be expected. You just don't find people with this much integrity, kindness, and willingness to help nowadays. A&S is truly one of a kind. If you or anyone you know has car troubles of any kind I would absolutely without any hesitation recommend that you call A&S.

My wife called this shop to ask whether they could provide a rough estimate based on a description…read moreof the issue she was experiencing. The employee agreed to listen to the situation, so she explained the problem in detail. After listening, he responded by asking, "What color are my socks?" When she was understandably confused, he followed up by saying that she wouldn't know unless she came in and saw them. While we understand that an exact diagnosis often requires an in-person inspection, the way this was communicated came across as sarcastic and disrespectful rather than helpful. A simple explanation that the vehicle needed to be inspected would have been sufficient. Professionalism and customer service matter, especially when customers are trying to understand their repair options. Based on this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

We had it shipped to Woody's (about $800)because they were so highly rated on the internet. We then rented a rig at Idaho Falls airport and continued on our trip. After a couple of weeks they started to work on the car and guess what the intermittent electrical problem fixed itself with no apparent reason why. I asked them to keep driving it till it quit again because it was no good to us the way it was. Finley after a couple of months it acted up again with the same half dozen fault codes it had shown me. Woody's kept working on it checking pins ,computers ,wiring ect. They narrowed it down to a problem with the wiring to one of the computers in the dash. They rewired a bunch of connections in the dash and whalla it's fixed. I'll bet most dealers would of quit after a few tries, but Woody's didn't quit and they fixed it ,we've driven it a year now and no problems. I told them to keep the car until it was fixed because it was no good us the way it was. But after Months of them working on our car I thought there would be a huge bill (like I'd just sign over the title) but that was not the case. Woody's fixed our car for a more then fair price ( I mean really a fair price). They treated us great and If I ever lived in Idaho again, I would be their customer.

It isn't the stench of someone smoking one dart in the car. Some you-know-what took my car out for a dirty weekend and returned it smelling like a 1987 Panama City Beach motel room. I have a documented allergy to nightshades! I cannot even get in the car, now! Why would anyone take a Camry, you ask? Well, additionally and possibly most important, this is a legitimate issue of stolen valor as the car is licensed with my husband's military tag. I just hope the two bit weasel who fronted as a Marine for the weekend got zapped by a speed camera whilst joyriding in our car so the truth will come out in the wash. SHAME ON YOU!

I ended up needing an emergency repair, on a Sunday in the small but quaint town of Ashton. It being a Sunday, I couldn't get anyone to get my trailer towed and all shops were closed. I was stranded for over 5 hours, miserable and out of luck. David just happen to be driving by when he offered me a hand on getting moving. He knew someone who could tow my rig and within 90 minutes, someone was there to pick up my trailer. My trailer was towed to his shop where I felt treated like a guest or family member. David repaired my unit more quickly than I ever could have imagined. I ended up adventuring around this area of Idaho after my repairs and ended up needing another minimal repair down the line (no fault of the original work done), and David drove to my location and had me going again in no time! I went in today to have them checked and the manager refused to even check my tires because I didn't have a "warranty booklet". I called the original shop I purchased the tires from and they've never even heard of that. They said they've performed warranties on this brand of tires before and all that's required is proof of purchase and proof of rotations completed. The manager went on to belittle me by saying "doesn't that just make sense though" in front of other customers after I simply explained I didn't know I needed a booklet to warranty tires as it was my first time doing so. He later just sneered and walked away when I told him I had the original purchase documents if that helped. Very rude and I would never recommend dealing with this place.
