I was told that "that's just for looks" which doesn't at all mitigate it not being lined up uniformly. Also, the strip didn't extend around the corner of the windshield on the passenger side. I had to go back the next day to point these things out - in addition to an improperly-placed rear view mirror which had an air bubble and gel showing from the outside. They tried to put it back on properly, then I heard the guy yelling about how he can't get it to work right (which is what you want to hear while sitting there waiting for work on your car to be done). He also just stuck some sort of sticky black material in the corner of the windshield, and told me that the (uneven) rubber strip should "settle down after a while". For good measure, I also noticed a new scratch on my driver side front fender when I got home. Will not take either of my cars to them in the future.
