After dropping it off, I repeatedly called over the course of several days to check on the status of the repair but received little to no clear communication.
On May 4, 2026, I contacted Metabo HPT (Koki Holdings America) directly to find out what was going on with my compressor. I was later informed that Nationwide Tools had supposedly repaired the compressor. However, based on the condition of the compressor when I later saw it, I strongly believe the unit was damaged while in Nationwide Tools' possession, possibly in retaliation for me contacting Metabo directly regarding the situation.
On May 22, 2026, I finally picked up the compressor. Due to the damage done to the original unit, Metabo ultimately had to replace the compressor because Nationwide Tools refused to take responsibility for the damage that occurred while it was under their care.
I also took pictures on the day I dropped off the compressor, showing its condition before service, as well as pictures on the day Nationwide Tools attempted to return it to me, clearly documenting the damage.
