Kyle and Dalton arrive two minutes early to perform a service call on our plastic Tri-State screens surrounding our porch. Their customer service is beyond reproach. It is top-notch. It is what everyone wants from a company. I have to say I am a pretty demanding customer when I pay a lot for a product, but I am very happy when the customer service exceeds my expectations and that's all we really want in the end to have spent money on something that works and if it isn't perfect, the company stands behind it and makes it perfect. Incredible service from these folks. I had a deck door replaced and given the pandemic and supply chain and labor shortages and just general spoiled, entitled, rude behavior from NoVA contractors, it took from February 2021 till December 2021 to get a door installed. But while the door was being installed, I called Tri-State to ask for a quote to install a screen. They asked me the width, height, and trim color of the door, gave me a quote instantly, and then said the guy would be there THE NEXT DAY to install the screen. And THE NEXT DAY, he showed up on time and installed the screen in under 30 minutes. I could not freaking believe it. These people are crazy efficient. Two emails: One with the invoice before service, and one with care and maintenance instructions after service. That's it. No back and forth, no chasing people down, no phone tag, no waiting 9 months. Got a large electric screen for a porch. I was debating the investment for a screen this size, but they were one of the lowest so I went with them. I'm so happy I did! I read about Phantom Screens so I went to their website and they referred me to TSS (they work in 3 states and DC, so it should be quad-state!). Colby came out and quoted us less than another company. He knew what he was talking about so we hired them. An 8 week wait was more like 1 month. Four guys came out - they were joking around like they were related to each other so a real family-run business (why does your mom make us bring you?! Classic issues of being the youngest cousin). They were super nice and took their time to make sure the screens were working well and airtight on our angled porch. So far no bugs have come in. We are very surprised with how easy it is to see through the screens. We are worried we may walk into them! The open-close time is fast, about 10-20 seconds. Two years ago, I had my condo windows and doors replaced by Window Nation. I LOVE them!! I didn't want a normal screen door impeding the door leading to my balcony. One, I like just looking out through the clear glass without those ridiculous mullions. Two, the old door was a crooked mess. So I started looking up retractable screens and found Phantom. I really liked what I discovered about their product. Tri-State is Phantom's distributor / installer in this area. I set up an appointment for April 21, they came out on time, did a fabulous job installing and cleaning up ... I love my retractable screen. Tri-State did a great job. And my cat likes that the bottom part of the screen isn't permanently attached so she can go in and out as she pleases. It took her a few attempts to get used to it, but now she uses it without any difficulty. HIGHLY recommend!! read more

We just purchased a Phantom screen door from Tri-State Screens. What a great experience! I had been looking at the large chains and kept finding the same companies, with mediocre reviews. I called a few stores that sold doors and got really lucky when one recommended Tri-State. Really excellent service from the first call to post-installation. Very responsive and thorough. I contacted Tri-State after doing a simple Google search for Phantom Screen distributors. They were one of three companies that I first contacted, and had not only the quickest response, but also the most competitive price. The company was very professional in setting up my appointment and making sure that it was done in a timely manner, unlike other distributors that said there was at least a 3-4 week lead time. By then, summer would be over guys, hence another reason why you lost my business. Tri-State was not only the most professional, best-priced company I found, but they also worked with me to have the installer come out 2 times after we had a misunderstanding in scheduling.
