ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! They submitted incorrect paperwork to my insurance company…read moreBlue Cross Blue Shield and when BCBS first mailed them a letter asking them to resubmit the form with the correct information, and then ended up calling them directly, Westbrook Medical Supply refused to resubmit the form. They said I returned the scooter before the month was up, and that was their reason! That is a pure BS reason!!! They charged my charge card for the entire month rental of the equipment, and BCBS would have paid it in full to them, but they didn't want to be bothered. What the heck does it matter if I returned the equipment a week early? They were charging the same either way. BCBS spoke with the same girl that I had to deal with when I went to their office to rent the scooter, and she acted like I was totally bothering her to ask questions about anything! Pure laziness! I guess they thought since they charged my charge card already then why should they bother making the effort to resubmit the claim!!!!!!!!! Total BS! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!

Jeffrey's is a wonderful drugstore that is a throwback, a nod to a simpler time, when all…read moredrugstores were small, family run affairs. You know the kind of place I'm talking about....the little bell rings on the door when you enter (I'm not sure if they have a little bell here, but it feels like they do), and the friendly folks behind the counter smile and say hi, and they're not too busy that they wouldn't chat with you, make a bit of small talk as they fill prescriptions and go about their day. There's even a sidewalk out front, as it's located in Canonsburg proper, so it feels like Anytown, USA. So yes, I like the vibe of the place, but what qualifies it for 5 stars is what they're doing here. Jeffrey's specializes in bio-identical (natural) hormone replacement for menopausal women, pain management, and supplements and nutritional advice for parents of autistic children. Instead of simply prescribing drugs, the pharmacists here take an active role in finding out the best course of treatment for patients, and they take a wholistic approach, so they're not just treating symptoms. I met with Kim, who is the pharmacist there who specializes in hormone replacement therapy, and she interviewed me for over an hour, asking questions about my diet and lifestlye in much the same way a homeopathist would. By the time we had completed our first interview, I had spent more time with her than I have with my doctor of 5 years. I feel very confident in taking her advice and following it, as I feel she's got the whole picture, and she's treating the whole system. This is medicine at its best, not the pill pushing that has become epidemic in our culture. My hope for all of us is that we become more knowledgable about our health, and more proactive about protecting it, and Jeffrey's is the kind of place that can be a partner in that quest.

So we parked and came to the first store on the corner, which was Schiller's Pharmacy. The ladies were very sweet and was showing us some nice items. I ended up getting a humidifier on sale with some essential oils (buy one get one free) and I also got some scar gel that was by this line called Derma E. I was looking for something to help with scarring and one of the girls suggested this particular gel. It was a sample and it was on sale so I scooped it up not knowing I had a gem in my hand! A month went by and this scar gel works wonders. I came back to the store and the same girl that was there suggested me more products from Derma E and they have ALOT of the brand at the pharmacy. I highly recommend anyone, whether it is to get a prescription or some beauty products, to go and check out their place before going anywhere else. TWO BIG THUMBS UP!
