This will be such a positive review that I want to clarify: I am not associated with JVS Premier…read morePainting Inc., and I was not offered a discount or incentive in exchange for leaving a positive review. Jose at JVS Premier Painting Inc. was recommended to me by the team that replaced our roof. We had a good experience with that roofing team, so I took the recommendation seriously and called Jose. From the first call, Jose was friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. He provided a quick, no-pressure estimate for the project. As we walked around the house, Jose pointed out certain items and asked for my feedback. He was willing to provide his own advice or options as we went along. Once the project began, Jose remained communicative, and he + his team were always on time and worked full days. We were up against an insane heat wave during this project, and despite the 100+ degree temperatures, this team didn't cut corners or rush. In fact, they were far more thorough than my wife and I expected them to be. The final results truly blew us away. The more we walk around the house, the more we point things out to each other like, "Oh look -- they even painted/fixed THIS." We have a 1950s home that has needed a lot of work. In the last few years, I've had to hire a roofing team, a plumbing team, an electrical team, etc. Of all the teams I have hired, I can say confidently that I have had the best experience with JVS Premier Painting Inc. -- I will be recommending them to anyone who asks. If you're poking around reviews right now and looking for a team you can trust to do things right, and even think about things you haven't thought about/don't understand re: house painting, this is your team. It's a great feeling to put money into a house project and, at the end, say, "Man, I'm REALLY glad I chose that team for this project." You won't be disappointed.

We were so happy, we found other projects for them: painting a garage pergola and a front porch pergola. They worked very diligently and got the job done quickly and beautifully. It honestly looks like I had brand new pergolas installed!

I had a great experience with Burke Painting from start to finish. The team was professional,…read moredetail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in their work. They didn't just rush through the job--they put real effort into prep, making sure everything was properly sanded, patched, and ready before any paint went on. That alone made a noticeable difference in the final result. Communication was solid throughout the process, and I appreciated how transparent they were about materials and pricing. You can tell they care about doing things the right way, not just the fastest way. The finished work looks clean, even, and high quality, and it's clear they use products that are built to last. If you're looking for painters who actually treat your property like it matters, Burke Painting is a solid choice. Would definitely recommend.

I called him again today and he answered and I let him know that we wanted to cancel the contract as we were getting other bids. He told me the $1,000 was non refundable regardless of whether he does the work or not. I'm pretty sure in California a homeowner has a minimum of 3 days cooling off, for seniors 65+ they have 5 days and a contractor must return the monies held on deposit which is usually the right thing to do. In either case, I can't imagine someone would take advantage of seniors like this- but Dan Burke is a master at elder abuse. We won't let this go and he will make it right. hire this guy at risk- no integrity and no sense of respect and decency.

Their pricing was very fair, especially considering the number of colors we chose and the high-quality paint we used. Even after we made several color changes post-contract, Cody remained patient, responsive, and fully committed to helping us get the exact result we wanted. The crew was exceptional--kind, professional, and extremely respectful of our home. They kept all work areas clean, stayed on schedule, and showed impressive attention to detail. The finished exterior looks incredible: crisp lines, smooth and even coverage, and a flawless overall result that truly exceeded our expectations. Although we only had our exterior painted, we would absolutely recommend Straitline Painting for any painting service. I ended up finding three contractors that all looked excellent from those reviews and called each for a bid. One said he was familiar with the model and didn't need to come out to quote it. I asked him to do so because there were a couple of repairs that we wanted done at the same time. He asked us to send pictures because he was too busy. I scratched him off the list. The next said he couldn't come out for two or three weeks and that he could give me a call. I passed. I called Straitline Painting next and was pleasantly surprised when someone actually answered the phone. I spoke with Cody, the president of the company and he told me he was very interested in quoting the job and wanted to know if it would be okay if he came out the next morning. We met and he walked the house with us. He was on time and as we walked through the house pointing out some of the areas that needed some extra attention he was very engaged and seemed genuinely interested in giving us the best advice he's could after many years in the industry. He gave us a professionally prepared detailed and fair bid within 2 days and we gave him the job . He even helped us finalize the paint colorto take into account the way the sunlight comes into the home and took the time to show us some of the differences room to room that paint color selection can make. (We ultimately selected a color based on his input.) He and his painter Jerome took a little less than a week to finish the job but I could tell from the beginning that they were pros. Rosin paper down all around and everything masked to prevent any over spray or damage to our property. They spent a good amount of time on that but it clearly paid off. The house was cleaner when they left then when they started. I'm attaching a handful of photos of the finished product but I will tell you we could not be happier with the work that was done or with the interaction that we had with Cody - very responsive and pleasant to deal with there is no doubt in my mind that his very first priority is to make sure that his customers are completely satisfied with the work his company has done for them. We will absolutely call him first the next time we have another painting or drywall patch/repair job to be done. Thank you Cody for the good work and your input in making this job a success. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
