So I rented this cute little studio but it needed some work and definitely needed a paint job. I was calling around and getting some pretty expensive quotes that were out of my budget, so I had a painter friend recommend using craigslist. I found Elder, the owner of Easy Painting Company. He was very professional, very kind and very patient. He met me at the rental to do a walk-through, and gave me the most reasonable quote out of my four day research on paint jobs. Elder scheduled the next day, he was punctual, professional, accountable, paid great attention to detail, and definitely put his customer and the job first. The job was quoted to take three hours, but took six hours for him and his apprentice, because of the age and condition of the rental. Elder made sure to stay until the job was done perfectly. He had me do a walk-through and show him and his apprentice any spots that I wanted to do any kind of touchup and stayed until I was totally satisfied with the completion of the job. Elder really came to help when I needed it, and did an excellent job, had excellent prices, excellent workers, and an excellent mindset to treat his customers with respect, professionalism and heart. Easy painting in San Diego what a great company it's hard to find a good company when you don't already have a great contractor now I do EASY PAINTING. They made this easy just like their their name from start to finish they responded quickly. Easy Painting did an amazing job very knowledgeable even about the paint they use which is top of the line. Elder the boss made sure we got the right paint color, we got the repairs done on the house and even a few details we didn't even ask for. In particular we have a 60 gallon water tank in a enclosure on the side of our house I just figured they would paint around it because I couldn't see any way to move it. Lo and behold what did they do they took it apart painted behind it and put it back together wow. Angelo was the one who spent every day paying attention to the detail for example, He made sure that the paint went on smoothly that there weren't any rough spots which appear when you just scrape and paint over it. Angelo didn't just scrape he scraped, filled in and sanded smoothly then painted Two coats of paint not just one and used the best paint Sherman Williams, even added a product I didn't even know about it which keeps the paint from ever peeling off again. So in conclusion overall rating of 10 stars and the hero here besides the boss of course is Angelo who in our eyes is the Michael Angelo of our finished product. When we started it was always consistent always attention to detail always checking to see if everything was OK always checking to see if there was something else they could do. Oh and I don't want to forget to tell you the most important part this house is 72 years old still has most of the original wood windows and they restore them back amazing just truly amazing I'm sure this was not an easy project for them and they never let on or grumbled about what a pain this house would be and they had every right. The repairs were solid and once they were done, the walls blended with all the other walls as if there was no damage that had been created when we ripped down the tile. A pipe leak necessitated complete reconstruction of my closet. After receiving a positive referral, I spoke to Elder and was able to get him out for a diagnosis and estimate. One of the challenges dealing with many in the trades is getting them to even show up, never mind showing up on time. From our very first meeting Elder was on time. First check in my book. His bid was not the lowest I received (it was actually in the middle), but he explained why he would be slightly higher and justified it in my mind. I felt that he was honest in his assessment of the job and bid a fair price. Check number two. His crew did an excellent job with the prep work, starting with protecting our floors, lights, fixtures, etc. There was no cutting corners. Check number 3. The crew did an excellent job with the painting itself. All lines and corners were virtually perfect. Check number 4. At the end of the job I pointed out a couple of minor things. Elder refused payment and had someone come and fix everything in a matter of hours. He only took payment after I was satisfied. Check #5. I can't recommend Elder and his crew highly enough.
