They text beforehand and say "an hour and a half," regardless the complexity of the installation. One thing local folks might do mitigate dissatisfaction is check and see if the glass is onsite and in good condition the afternoon before the appointment date, then call the customer if it's delayed or damaged and reschedule it f required. Would also be a good time to explain longer service time expectations with difficult installs. They were less expensive than the mom and pop across the street.
