I like the fact that even though it's on a main road; being Jackson Ave right @ Interstate 240, they have their own parking area which can hold several autos, pulling back off on too Jackson Ave, getting off their property is SUPER EASY! I went here recently to get a door window fixed. They said 30mins to an hour- I was there waiting for 3 hours. When I finally asked the receptionist what was going on she told me they had to go somewhere to get the window... so I said ok and waited. When I finally got the car and pulled off there was a massive crack in my windshield that WAS NOT there when I gave them my car. I went back immediately and they told me to talk to the owner Jaime Castro. I was very nice about it and he came out and was rude asf telling me I didn't have any proof that they did it, i probably had the sun in the car (IN THE 3 HOURS THAT THEY HAD IT I SAW IT INSIDE OF THEIR GARAGE), and he said they don't crack windows. I asked him if they could just fix it or discount the service I had just got or SOMETHING to diffuse this HUGE 13INCH crack. He told me no and I called the police! I waited over an hour for the police to get there and when they came he told me I'd easily be able to take him to civil court because I had before pictures of my car with no crack in it- and i told them I would. So Jaime gave me $40 back, cash and I just left. It shouldn't have had to take all that, I ended up being there over 5 hours with this whole ordeal and now I have a massive crack in my windshield. Being an auto repair shop I have used this company many times,and never had no issues, however I had them come out to shop to do two windshields on two different vehicles on the same day ,one of which developed a small crack in the lower corner of the replacement windshield ,this vehicle had only been driven a few miles when the crack was noticed and we called to inform them of our problem they told me they would send some one out the next day" to take care of it no problem", they did not show the next day and i had to call again to explain the situation again, she then tried to give me a b.s. excuse on why they didn't show and they would be out that day to take care of the windshield. After they replaced the windshield they handed me an invoice for the replacement and wanted me to pay for the windshield that was suppose to be replaced under warranty, their installer got his boss on the phone of which I went through the whole story again , but they refused to honor their work or any warranty claim related to it, I could not believe the poor attitude they showed towards this situation.I went ahead and paid their 150.00 for the second time, the crack was with out a doubt either the fault of the installer or the quality of the product they use. either way buyer BEWARE of this company they do not stand be the service the provide nor the quality of their work. I have used this company several times and have recommended everyone that inquired about windshield replacement to this company. however after the way this company handled this incident that 150.00 they charged me for what should have been warranty it will be the last time i use or recommend them again. I will always use Astro! I called in on Memorial Day and was able to get in on that Tuesday morning and get my front windshield replaced. I have a pretty huge truck and the windshield with other businesses was over $250 with each. However, with Astro, the price was set at $150 even! I went in that morning and was able to get the full windshield replaced within an hour's time. If you are looking to get your windshield patched, this is definitely the place that you want to use! The shop is directly off of the highway on Jackson and pretty easy to see. Once you get there, park, walk in, and either check in or have a seat. You won't be disappointed in the service that you get from them. As a side note, I would say to ensure that you call before you show up to Astro so that they can order your windshield in case they don't have it in the shop at that time. Again, I called on Monday (Memorial Day, and they were able to have the windshield brought over that Tuesday morning to have it installed.
