After making a counter offer on a boat they were selling for a third party, we suggested making a deposit to show our good faith. Hunter said that wasn't necessary as, "I won't sell it out from under you." Imagine our surprise to find the boat gone from the lot! When asked, Hunter admitted he sold it. He had not contacted us to see if we might increase the offer. And did he even present our offer to the boat owner? He tried to cover-up this gross behavior by saying he left us a voicemail. Since we had provided our landline phone number, which is connected to a recording device, we knew this to be untrue. In hindsight we should have checked with their yelp reviews, and then we would have have been forwarded, "Let the buyer beware." In our estimation, neither company nor their employee are creditable representatives of good will and fair dealing we should expect in the Ozarks. And that is the kindest thing we can say.

Installed a metal oil pan and oil and told them it was "good to go". They stressed they had an 8-hour drive to Indiana and asked for them to do a 2nd driving test. They said it was "good to go". Pick up the car, get 30 minutes down the road and car breaks down leaking oil again. Take it to a place in Springfield, MO and they find there is a leak from the oil separator/PCV. Real through job by Branson Tire to just assume it was a plastic oil pan and not inspect anything further up the system. If you are traveling through Branson and have problems, don't count on this place, they know you are out of towners and just do enough to get you on your way and fatten their wallets.

Made an appointment for a Monday. Arrived at 7:30 AM after driving 70 miles and dropped off RV. Returned at 4:30 PM and RV had never moved or had been looked at. Pretty disappointed and I guess something they could have just told me over the phone as far as fixing and a large price tag ($10,000) which I guess is what I expected. Gina put me on hold, and came back moments later to break the news to me, they never ordered my unit. The salesperson should have told me that months ago - this apparently wasn't breaking news. She felt terrible- I believed her. Gina refunded my money the next day, and assured me an owner would call me the following Monday - two days later. Wait for it, they never called, and haven't called. All I wanted was an explanation. Since then, I've purchased something else. Supply chain issues are a real issue - I get it. But have the decency to shoot your clients straight. If you made a mistake - own it. Mistakes happen - it's OK. It feels good to acknowledge and own up to mistakes.

Friend and I were driving to breakfast when all of a sudden my dashboard lit up and my car stopped working! We coasted into the nearby restaurant where we were headed thankfully. We got out and did the obvious - look under the hood for fluid leaks, smoke, etc... but nothing for the plain eye to see. I went to Yelp to see if there were any services near that could help and that is when I found this shop. I called A&L, told them what happened and they kept it real with me basically saying they didn't know what it could be either, but they could fit me in that morning to take a look. I decided to have the car towed versus trying to drive it and possibly damage it further. I asked if they knew any tow companies and they gave me info for a local company they do business with (that was also excellent btw!). Once my car arrived at A&L they let me know they were close to finishing up another vehicle and would look into mine after they were done. They have a very small waiting area which is set up nicely with a couch, tv with all entertainment you could want and a vending machine. It really is only big enough for a couple people. When it was my turn, they looked at the car while I chilled in the waiting area de-stressing watching tv. They came back, explained the problem, quoted me a price and let me know they could fix it that same morning while I waited! WOW! They did have to send someone for the part. The pricing also seemed very reasonable. I accepted. (Note I later discussed what happened with my existing local trusted mechanic and he confirmed their pricing was AMAZING as was the fact they were able to help so quickly. As a non-mechanical person there is a lot of trust that goes here). They had my problem diagnosed, resolved and paid for all in a few hours. I was very impressed! My friend even stated this was a blessing as many shops have waiting lists right now for basic items. Summary - USE this shop! Take your car here! They are trustworthy, efficient, affordable and no bs. They do what they say they can do and they are upfront about now being able to diagnose without seeing the vehicle.
