Spent $1800 last year to fix AC . Lasted 3 days. Two more visits still not fixed. They are saying it needs a new evaporator core, but not under warranty. They replaced compressor, expansion valve and condenser last year said everything would be under warranty. Changed their tune now. They are I believe engaging in deceptive practices to milk their customers. Will be contacting the Attorney General. read more

Called them earlier in the morning and they said they could diagnose and fix my truck before I had work I dropped the truck off and they didn't touch it for another 30 or 40 minutes to en when they finally did just the diagnosis they said they didn't even have parts for what was messed up and I would have to come back again another day the coolant in my truck is still leaking and I had to pay 60 for an inspection that took two hours without even fixing the problem as promised I would not recommend this business at all nice people but they don't do business well at all huge wast e of time and I was still late to work with a messed up vehicle read more

I took my car to a different mechanic and they told me that I should replace my struts and that it would cost 1k I called batboys cause I had heard they were honest. They told me to come in and they inspected it for free. they gave me a comprehensive list of what could be wrong with my car but told me not to worry about the struts. I was very pleased with the service and that they took the time to explain exactly what could go wrong and what they thought was more pressing. I will now be taking my car to them. read more

These guys were great when I drove into Branson with a broken rear differential. They are honest, friendly, and you can tell that they go out of their way to do the best they can. Not only did these guys fix my Diesel Excursion correctly, but they used Quality parts. I am extremely picky about mechanics and generally an arrogant ass about it. I demand the best. Expect the best. And I believe, I got the best Branson has to offer. Also, I am not from Branson and the price seemed fair. Even from hindsight. We are planning to return to Branson when the covid issues are gone and I am planning to drop my Excursion so they can give it a once over, for a second opinion from my regular mechanics. BAT BOYS! Worst car repair place ever! All they want is your money. Spent $500 to fix it but it didn't work and the engine light was still on. I said why is the light still on? So then another $92 to diagnose what they should've done in the first place. Then told to bring it back to finish the diagnostics that it was included in the $92, no they wanted another $125 today. When your "hometown" nice guys (which I have no doubt buzz is) has the best reviews from out of town folks. You bet it's awesome to get in an out an on your way. I've had 3 vehicles serviced on multiple occasions since I moved here. 2 months down the road, problem. They forget they did the service or they make up parts that wore other than. I just wish they knew how horrible it is to be a rigger instead of a fixer when people that love here are on a budget. It almost feels like a timeshare event for locals. While on our last full day of vacation, and with a very early start on a 20 hour drive back home the following day, a leaking tire was not good news. B.A.T Boys weren't able to repair the tire because of the location of the puncture and the overall condition of the tire, and unfortunately we couldn't get the tires delivered in time. So why the 5 star rating? These guys were straightforward and honest from the start. And when they realized that they wouldn't be able to get the tires I needed in time, they recommended another local shop who could help. That's more than 5 stars in my book. read more

Great place with excellent customer service. Highly recommend. We arrived in town Saturday evening and experienced a locked front brake caliper. Checked Yelp and found BATBoys had good reviews. I left a message on their voicemail and Tracy called me as soon as they opened Monday morning. I told her the circumstances and she told me the sooner I could get there the better as their afternoon was going to be full. I arrived and they got the car in the back. They told me it was brake caliper and they could get the parts and fix. I told them I had the same issue back home in September. I gave them the paperwork from that service and they called that shop. Turns out the part was under warranty. Andy and the team had it fixed and oil changed in 2 hours. Thanks for resolving the situation. On a cross country trip I had a power steering hose spring a leak. BAT was recommended by the RV park I was staying at. I called them at noon and Buzz told me to bring my truck in at 3:00 PM. Not up front pricing. Slow and waste time. Went told them the issues twice and wrote down then sat for 2 hours (i even set appointment) for them to tell me excatly the same thing i told them. Struts and hub assembly. Then the Hidden back end fees. Lady was pleasent about misunderstanding but tall short haired guy tried to justify his thievery by stating it is what everyone does and tried to hold car captive. Ended up splitting the bill and left with out an estimate. All in all im out 20 bucks 2.5 hours of my time spent with then and now the additional time needed to get an estimate. read more

B.A.T. Boys Branson... Watch out for these guys!!! While on vacation we developed a wobbling sound in the left front wheel. B.A.T. Boys sold us $400 of new front tires claiming a bad right front tire was the issue and being all wheel drive a matching set was required. 2 blocks off the lot the noise was still present! Went straight back only to receive a big BS story about tire wear, and new tire break in period??? Drove 1000 miles home with noise getting louder all the way. Took it straight to my mechanic when I got home to find a bad left bearing hub Within a few miles of total failure!!! This shop took our money and put us at risk on the highway!!! read more

They fit us in without an appointment and found nails in both tires (what luck.) They repaired both tires at a low cost and got us on our way. Their waiting area, and their shop, are beautiful. Our car needed repairs on our last day of vacation in Branson. We needed a new alternator. BAT Boys got our vehicle in, ordered an alternator from Springfield and stayed late to finish the job so we could make it home safely that night. It was reasonably priced and friendly service. My wife called and got a verbal quote for an oil change and brake pads on her KIA Sorento. She scheduled an appointment and took the car in. They didn't have the pads and had to have them delivered. What was supposed to take 2 hours took 5 hours and they were $80 higher than their estimate. When she questioned the bill, she was told that her car required synthetic oil and charged her for 6 quarts at nearly $10 per quart. The KIA dealer uses conventional oil and states the car needs 5 quarts (also with a filter change). They should have had the pads on site after giving a bid and should have discussed the synthetic oil upgrade prior to completing it and giving her the bill. We will NOT use this shop again. read more

They used cheap parts. The front suspension failed after it was put on their rack. They gave me back my car in unsafe condition. I knew the front struts were old, but after I got my car back I had no front suspension(no movement). I took my car to Springfield immediately after getting my car serviced for new front brake pads, and my kids and I started to smell rubber(front tires) burning from front suspension failure. I was only upset with the fact of the use of cheap parts when they told me they use a name brand(Wagner Brake pads)they in fact did NOT use, and they gave me my car without telling me of the unsafe condition of the car related to the suspension. I think they were afraid I was going to try to get new struts from them. When I was nice and told them of my experience the next business day, they acted indifferent. They admitted that the front suspension failed from being lifted. B.A.T. DID NOT warn me of the potential consequences of driving the day of servicing. I'm just glad that I am mechanically inclined, If it would have been someone else they would of eventually had a front tire blowout. I quickly bought and installed the struts myself, and changed out the cheap squeaky brake pads myself. My front tires were ruined at my expense as well. FYI Always ask for the box from new/installed parts so you know what is being installed. Have a Blessed day! read more
