Apple Valley Plumbing said they could come out same day, they were actually there within a couple hours!! Other plumbers, some we have used before even, said they could come out "sometime next week".... Um, that doesn't work when you are talking about sewage filling your yard!!! It was an easy fix, but I'm still so thankful Apple Valley knew the importance and came out same day!! 5 stars all around!! Thank again!!

My air conditioning unit stopped working at the WORST possible time. I called Rumpca Services and…read morehad someone out the same day. He found a family of mice had made my AC unit their home. There was so much damage that the unit was unsalvageable. An estimator came out that same day to talk to me about replacing the unit. It was over 15 years old so I was kind of expecting it. My furnace definitely needed tending to, and I realize replacing them both at the same time is typically recommended. The estimator did not pressure me whatsoever and I ended up getting a quote for a furnace and AC unit replacement. The quote was thorough and after researching everything, I determined it was a fair deal. I went ahead with the purchase and they were out a few days later to get the job done. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly professional and personable everyone was. They did a stellar job replacing everything and I had no idea how big of a difference this upgrade would make. Additionally, the small details didn't go unnoticed. The new vent going outside, the thermostat and even the Rumpca sticker on the ducts were level and neat. I love supporting small businesses and this one has been around for as long as I can remember. I highly recommend Rumpca Services!

My 97 year old Mother had these rip off artists come out to her home twice within a week or so. The…read morefirst time was to figure out why her toilet kept running. The guy that was out there took his sweet ol' time and finally just put a new flapper in the tank and charged her $340!! The second time was to put new shutoff valves on the upstairs and downstairs toilets. They told her that seeing she was in Ramsey county they couldn't shut her water off without permission from St. Paul. Which is total BS, especially when she has a shutoff on her main water line coming into the house. They said seeing as their business wasn't located in that area they couldn't do the work. But later on in the day, the owner called and said they could work around that by "freezing her pipes" and the charge would be $1000!!!! She talked to me, her son, and I told her this is total crap. She ended up calling someone else who shut her main water valve off in the basement and replaced both valves for $250! She had used Rumpca for about 30 years and we have figured out that they have been ripping her off for all those years. My advice is to stay away from these scumbags and call a reputable plumber.

He gave me several options and answered all of my questions (and I asked A LOT of questions.) He was patient and respectful of my financial concerns. HIRE THESE GUYS if you want to be treated with respect and want a positive experience because we ALL know that no one WANTS to spend money on a new water heater!

I honestly have to say I felt scammed. I repeatedly asked on the phone what the cost is to have a…read moreclogged drain snaked and I got a run-around answer that the technician would assess the situation when they got there and provide a quote. After scheduling the appointment between 11 and 2, I get a call that it probably won't be until between 2 and 4pm. When the technician arrived there was zero assessment done, just the technician telling it would be $295 to clear the drain. Honestly $295 could not have come out of his mouth faster upon arrival. I am not sure why this couldn't have been told to me over the phone. The only thing I can think of is that you are trying to trap people into paying this high price. Its past 2pm at this point best case scenario if I don't use your service is I can maybe get another company out the next day. Frankly, its very dishonest. Nobody would use your service if you quoted this price up front. Then on top of it there was zero effort to keep a clean work space in my home. You just slap the routing machine down on the rug in my kitchen and then trail fluid from the drain on the floor when they carried the equipment out. I have an baby crawling around currently. You think I want them crawling through that! Considering the premium you charge to snake a drain, I would have expected much better service, extremely disappointed.
