The mechanic, Jason, spent over an hour with us in the yard looking at the balers and telling us the pros and cons of each one. He went above and beyond when it came to answering our questions, and in return, we bought a baler that day! The owner worked with us on picking up the baler the next weekend and overall, we had a wonderful experience. We would gladly drive the 3 hours again to purchase more equipment from Hodges!

I tried to return the head after two days and they would not work with me at all. They said bc it was used, they could not return it. I didn't think I was being too unreasonable and I asked them if I cleaned it up and made it look brand new and they still said no. I asked if they could fix the weed whacker but they wanted $50 just to look at it. For the $60 for the head and $50 to look at it, I should have just bought a new whip for $200 lol. Two weeks later they called and said they repaired the pump and some other issues and the price was now six thousand dollars which I negotiated back to a lower amount. Then later they called and said the pump was leaking again and I agreed to a new pump and sent payment per credit card. Then they sent to another repair shop and the hydraulic system seems to work now but the cost is now over seven thousand which I have paid part of it. The pump is not new even though I paid for a new one. Needless to say we don't agree on the final cost. I used the tractor about twelve hours and the steal high pressure line came loose from the pump spraying hydraulic fluid on the exhaust pipe causing a fire.

It's an exciting time of year for people. 4/5 employees I spoke to today acted as if I was asking for a million dollars to answer very simple questions. Fake a smile and act interested if you have to. Won't be returning. Good selection of items, but nothing I can't get elsewhere and for a much better deal. Just about everything is over priced. They sell their "Bordine's soil" for an absolutely laughable price, as if it's some miracle dirt.
