It's because of Tri-City that I could get back to doing what I love. THANK YOU Tri-City Physical Therapy!!!!!!!

Wow!!!!!! Tri City is hands down the BEST Physical Therapy clinic in North County. And I've been to many clinics, but none like Tri-city. Tri-City goes above and beyond to CARE for EACH and EVERY PATIENT!! From the front office manager, Terri, she sets the tone with a big smile and so helpful. Her diligence to get all the insurance paperwork handled promptly, so therapy can start right away when you need it. Everyone at this office cares about you and getting you back to your optimal shape! The physical therapists are top notch. Chris and Janet do HANDS ON therapies, including massage work to get your joints aligned properly and with their strengthening exercises, I have gained most all of my shoulder mobility back. Still working at it!! They are getting me back to 100% soon enough!! I absolutely love the vibe of this clinic because they actually CARE about your improvement and the process. The aides are AMAZING. From Bri and Alyssa, Ryan and Shane.. they provide ultrasound therapy and muscle stimulation treatments while assisting you with ALL your exercises so you stay motivated and with proper form. ALL the staff treats you like family and they always bring a good laugh and smile to my face. During Covid when everything was shut down, their office remained open, while following all the guidelines. It made me so happy to have my physical therapy to go to so I could stay focused on my shoulder healing amidst all the changes. THANK YOU TRI-CITY PHYSICAL THERAPY!!!!!!!!! You helped me get back to my surfing and for that, I am eternally grateful!!!!

The therapy my father received felt careless, ineffective, and lacked the level of attention you would expect from a healthcare professional responsible for someone's recovery. When I tried to raise concerns about the quality of care, the response was dismissive and defensive rather than professional or solution-oriented. Instead of acknowledging the issues, it felt like the situation was turned around in a way that suggested my father was the problem. That is a deeply troubling way to treat patients and their families. The combination of ineffective therapy and the way our concerns were handled made the entire experience unacceptable. Healthcare providers should prioritize patient care, accountability, and respect -- none of which we experienced here. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone looking for physical therapy to find another provider who takes patient care and recovery seriously.

The entire staff is kind, welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. They take real pride in what they do, and it shows in how attentive and supportive they are during every visit. What really stood out to me is how much they advocate for their patients. When my workers' comp initially would not cover all of my needed treatment, the team went above and beyond by working directly with my doctor to help get additional visits approved so I could continue my recovery. That level of care and commitment is rare. They don't rush you, they listen, they explain everything, and they truly want to see you heal and succeed. I always feel supported, encouraged, and confident that I'm in good hands. I am so grateful for All Star Physical Therapy and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about their patients and their healing journey.

After my treatment, I waited to receive updated stretches/exercises, but they were never updated in the app. I had to call more than once to follow up, and despite being told the stretches would also be emailed to me, I never received anything. I originally contacted them in March to schedule an appointment. I was told they were unable to schedule me at that time and that they would call me back. After waiting over a month with no follow-up, I finally called them myself only to be told that my referral had expired. Overall, the communication and follow-through were very disappointing.

I was referred here by an orthopedic hand specialist for physical therapy to address hand pain I've…read morehad for several months, with MRI findings showing inflammation along a tendon sheath. From the start, the experience was disappointing. The front desk and billing staff were rude and unhelpful. When I asked a basic question about payment, the billing person actually said to me, "Did you not hear me?" -- which was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. That interaction alone should have been a warning sign. My therapist, Tanya, spent very little time explaining my condition and offered almost nothing in terms of actual treatment. Her entire recommendation was to use ice daily and take fish oil and follow up as needed. When I asked if they could help address inflammation in therapy, she said they "only offer ice" and that ultrasound or other treatments would be a "waste of my time." No exercises, no manual therapy, no modalities, no handout, no individualized care -- nothing. I brought my concerns to the manager, Marc, and he simply backed her up, saying the clinic "only offers ice" for inflammation. That told me everything I needed to know about their approach. I left feeling completely dismissed, with no confidence in their competence or professionalism. This place does not provide the kind of thoughtful, evidence-based, or patient-centered care you would expect from a specialty clinic. I strongly recommend going elsewhere if you actually want help.

I self-treat all my injuries (thinking I'm some amazing doctor) but when push comes to shove, I…read morecan't self-treat everything. If it wasn't for me needing both feet to work, I'd probably still self-treat until my foot fell off. By the time I finally gave in to seeing an ortho, it was worse than I expected. I was very happy with the ortho I saw within the OSNC network and decided to use their physical therapists to continue treatment. Here's how scheduling works: 1. You call their main office 2. They fit you in to one of their two PT offices (vista and oside) based on availability with your schedule and their schedule. 3. Appointment confirmed Seems simple, right? Apparently, it's not that easy. I made an appointment for 6pm tonight and arrived early (as requested to fill out paperwork). I get it, I've working in outpatient PT before, I've treated patients...I know how this works. As I walk in, one therapist is leaving. One therapist is treating a patient. There is no one at the check-in desk, and it looks like the place is about to close for the night. A very sweet PT Aide (Angel) approaches me, seems confused about my appointment. Apparently, there's no record of any appointment for me. All they have a record of is my initial appointment with their ortho. That's it. Let's pour salt into an open wound now....and my therapist can't see me. Her 6pm patient is here. So, I'm there. No appointment. Fought traffic. Arranged childcare...and I'm not being seen. Angel tried her hardest to reschedule me, but between my busy schedule, their schedules, they close early on Fridays...it just seemed pointless. It's clear something was not entered into whatever appointment system they are using....or attempt to use. This incident isn't a reflection on the quality of the therapists or their aides. It's a reflection on the administration in the scheduling office. Since I've lost all faith in their scheduling system, I won't be back.

From the start, Dr. Layson showed incredible flexibility in seeing me quickly and took great care in evaluating my condition. What impressed me most was his diligence--he even ordered additional imaging right before surgery to fully understand the extent of my patella fracture. That extra step gave me confidence, and I know it made a difference in the outcome of my surgery. Danielle was consistently attentive, professional, and kind, making the whole process much less stressful. I also want to recognize the Carlsbad Surgery Center, where my procedure took place. Every single person I encountered was warm, informative, and supportive. They made me feel comfortable at each step, explained everything clearly, and followed up with a thoughtful note after my surgery. That personal touch meant a lot during recovery. I'm deeply grateful to Dr. Layson, Danielle, and the entire surgery center team for their expertise and compassion. They turned what could have been a very difficult experience into one where I felt cared for and supported at every step.

However, the doctor I saw that it was not in his specialty (he's a shoulder person on the site) and as soon as that happened, he walked out the door. This arrogant attitude is why I elected to seek help elsewhere those years ago, and I felt nothing had changed. We'll see how the PT works out (they have great folks in the PT practice). If I do decide to return to the practice (not the doc as they have another shoulder specialist) I'll give him a go. Why? I am tired of having to go to other parts of the county for help and want to find someone local.
