No I wouldn't recommend this company they do Shawty work break stuff and don't say nothing to customers. I paid for my AC and it never really worked right also the dial switch they broke the tabs to secure fasten to dash that I paid for almost $400 and didn't tell me about it. It sat in the dash crooked and not seated properly. The only way I found out was because my AC broke down again, and I took it to a legitimate company that informed me about their work. People just don't take pride in their work no more. It's a shame.. read more

So on my last post I started I was going to come back for an oil change and brakes... I did not and I paid the price. I neglected my truck and the engine blew. Lucky for me I have Trevor automotive to rely on! they quickly found a replacement engine and had it back and running better than before. The price was as expected and not a penny more. They advised me of a few additional things they noticed that could use additional work and I was able to confirm it before they started to do more work. They communicated through outthe process and gave me options on how i wanted to proceed. I took my truck back in and they were quick to finish the extra work. I've been a customer for many years and I normally only need them for minor things but I'm glad I have them to fix major issues. I love my old truck and I'm glad they're helping me keep it running! I went to smog shop and received smog certificate. I asked the mechanic if he could check out my neighbors car which did not pass smog. He said he would refer my neighbor to Trevor automotive on Trevor St. I called and told the woman who answered the phone I was referred by my mechanic named Jordan. The lady was in a hurry and didn't give me a chance to ask questions about fixing neighbor's car. She said " I don't have time to talk on the phone and I'll call you back in 5 mins. I once thought this truly was the place I could trust I was thankful to think I found a mechanic I could trust until I brought in my Honda and I was shocked with the whole experience , I had just gotten out of the hospital and my car would not start as I was in the hospital almost two weeks and no one started my car so I went to Harbor Freight and bought a Battery Charger for almost $200 the kind that can charge phones and ETC and inflate tires and inflatables , Well the battery charger worked for a moment but than nothing so I had the car towed to the shop after calling and the Lady in now is in the office who calls everyone dear ,Said it sounds like something simple I told her I was on a very tight budget so please let me know the cost . Well they had my car almost two weeks never calling me never informing me of what they thought was wrong with it nor the estimate of cost So when I called them once again as I had called once a week as I was trying not to be insistent . Well she finaly said the cost would be nearly a $1000 for what they had done ,Ok That alot wish I would of been told before the work was supposedly done ...Yes I said supposedly as when I went to get the car my abs and brake and traction lights were all lit up I told Nick and he said that was how they were when I brought in the car ,,,No they were never on and when I had the car towed in it was dead ,so I was upset he told me to drive the car and they should turn off ...So I was already upset but the next day my car would not start so I went to the trunk to get my new charger and it was gone ,Yes it was gone so I called a friend and she brought her charger and she followed me to the shop ,where I informed Nick and Ed about how the car did not start and how my charger was missing ,He said no one took it I said yes they sure did my trunk had not been broken into there was no tampering with the lock and it was obvious someone had the key and got in my trunk . Well they had my car again for 3 days and they said it was now fixed ,well the lights are still on and now if I do not drive it everyday it will not start so I had to go buy another charger and now I have The worse part is I trusted Ed and Nick I like them so much when My Brother Passed I gave them his ford ranger as a gesture to say thank you for taking care of Me I am sad to say I would never recommend anyone to come here as my car is not fixed ,My charger did not just disappear and s I said there was no tampering with my lock , Its sad to think how I trust people and kindness is taken as stupidity . I am sad to have to find someone who can fix my car once I am able to afford it Nick knows I am disabled and he knows I need the car in working order as I care for my 82 yo mother . So this is truly sad ffor us as we counted on him and now we have no one to turn too. read more

Probably the best experience I've ever had with car repair. I was referred to them by AV smog center which meant a lot because me and my family have been going there for years. These guys are the best! I was on the phone with my dad the whole time to make sure I was getting scammed (LOL) and I wasn't! Nick and Eddie are super friendly and they're prices are unbeatable. I was referred to this shop by a friend when I had asked him about an honest mechanic. I called in advance and explained that my car had been overheating but the gauge/needle always kept in the middle. Nick told me to bring it in right away and did a full inspection and wouldn't do anything without the additional opinion of his brother. I dropped the car off on a Monday afternoon and he called me later that day with pricing before proceeding to purchase the parts and get the work done. I was very happy with the price that he gave and my vehicle was finished and ready for pick up the following afternoon. Nick even drove it around for a while to make sure it didn't overheat. These guys really went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and that I wouldn't encounter similar issues in the future. I'm so grateful for how quick and efficient they are considering the dealership said they needed at least 24 hours for only a diagnosis. Excellent experience(s) with Trevor Auto. My father has been coming here for some time now and the gentlemen who work here are nothing but welcoming and gracioius, but also to the point and HONEST. No shadiness whatsoever. They care about their clients and take great pride in their work. And to the previous reviewers, I don't know about smog as I have never had it done here (yet), but the prices for repair work are below average forsure. I had brake pads and rotors replaced for under $230(including labor). Tell me another professional place that can do it that low in the AV..with the upmost integrity...you can't. I fail and pay $26.00 (+2.50 Debit Surcharge = $28.50) . Not the outcome expected, though the mechanic gave an honest and helpful explanation on how to fix the problem, i feel reluctant to return. The only deal you get from failing is "50% OFF REGULAR PRICE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF NEXT VISIT".
