Drove from Sacramento to LAX to pick up my friend who flew in from Massachusettes for some Joshua tree camping! Dragged a rock for companionship on the trip and my car was making a terrible, terrible noise. I PACKED my schedule to the hour and did not anticipate this issue. I arrived at the shop around 1 on a Saturday with 3 different vehicles up in the bay. I was greeted by a man who politely listened to my frantic warbles and grabbed John for me. I was simply asking if John believed my car would make it back to Sacramento after I dropped my friend off at the airport. John could have totally turned me away as it was a weekend, last minute, with no clue what the problem could be. BUT NO, John is a go-getter! Like me!!! I'm sure he appreciates a challenge and dare I say, a surprise! This angel John disguised as a seasoned mechanic hopped in my car and immediately knew by what could only be described as divine intervention, that my exhaust was bent. John fixed this within 5 minutes. Went there the second time around had to get a tow paid for the tow. Expert Automotives charged me again $200 for the second time around for a problem they did not fix the first time around. BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT!!!! These guys are the real deal!! I left Willow Springs race track and as I entered the highway my car blew a heater hose overheated. I made it back to town and from the moment I arrived at Expert Automotive, Inc I was treated like a family member. The mechanic and quite possibly the workshop foreman greeted me and had a quick look at my poor car with Sean coming out and lots of weird noises. He could see I was freaking out as I had to try and get back to Laguna Niguel that night. Unfortunately he couldn't do anything that day even if he wanted to as the engine was too hot and they were about to close. Alex suggested I grab a room at the little hotel around the corner and he'll call me in the morning. True to his word he called me this morning and told me the good news, the engine is fine and he'd have a new hose and have me on the road ASAP. I couldn't believe how cheap the bill was considering he went well out of his way to get ME going even though he had a completely full workshop! The guys here are awesome! I took my car to a different shop (firestone) to get inspected and found out I had a leaking water pump and valve cover gasket. The guy at Expert Automotive quoted me 1/2 what the other shop told me and had it fixed the same day. I have nothing but praise for this shop. I went in on a Saturday, with no appointment to have an oil change and see if they could install side steps on my Ford F250, I figured the oil change would be able to get done but the side steps would have to be scheduled. I needed the truck back by noon, and was their about 9 am. First he remembered me from over 5 years ago, I recently got my license back after losing it due to medical reasons. He thought he would be able to get it done in the time I needed it. by 11:15 am he was done and I was on my way. I will mention I had a quote from Pepe Boys to install the side steps and that was $150 dollars, Expert charged me $80.00, almost half. Great Service at Great Prices. I always take my car their as John is the only mechanic I trust now, just recently took my car there for Transmission service and my car developed a leak so we took it back to John and he found the problem it was a leaky seal he replaced it no charge. I had my catalytic converters replaced on my S10 from an exhaust shop and that shop said it was a leak in the exhaust gasket manifold. I called Expert Automotive and they told me how much it was going to cost but sometimes there are other complications when replacing the gasket. So I got some time off work and dropped it of. They gave me a quote and said remember it might be more. I live in town and the owner offered to give me a ride home. The next day they gave me a call and said it was done. Turns out there was another gasket leaking which was making all the noise. It was a simple fix and cost less then half what the quoted me on!!! I got a business card from them and its on my fridge for when I have problems in the future. read more

I had this shop replace the rack and pinion, and front brakes on my pickup a few months ago and am pleased with how everything went. Waiting room was clean and there was an overall professional look and feel about the place. Before the work I took my truck in and had it evaluated. They gave me a couple of options regarding the quality of parts, I could go with poor quality cheap parts or superior quality parts for more money. I went went the latter and then researched the parts online when I got home and found they were the best money could buy aside from the original manufactures stuff. With all the cheap import parts on the market I really liked the fact that these guys offered the option between low or high quality parts. It let me decide what was best for me. read more

They really are the best for over 16 years all my vehicles go to the experts there staff are #1 I could go on for days about how professional they are and at the same time they like family they have even fixed a couple problems over the phone so that says a lot in my book. I do miss seeing RUSS around the shops but there quality is still the best. These guys are lying good for nothing thieving scum bags my lil brother had brought his 99 Sentra to this shop because I was having a hard time installing his brake shoes so they took advantage of the fact that my brother needed his car fixed right away and that he had no knowledge on car repairs long story short they tried to lie to my brother and say there was another issue with the car that wasn't really there to hold my brothers car in their shop so they could charge him more and they charged him for bleeding his brakes which they really didn't I had to do after I got off work then I found out they stole some brand new spark plugs I left in my brothers car stay away from these scum bags they are dishonest people who are only interested in your money. read more

This place will rob you. We took a car for some brake work to be done and they claimed that they bleed the brakes which they didn't and they stole our brand new spark plugs from the car. So not only did they steal from us they charged us for a service that was t even done to the car. read more
