I took my truck here after a recommendation from a friend and I'm very glad that I did. John greeted me quickly, went over everything and my truck was pulled into the shop and they got to work right away. Right away you can see that this is a very well organized and clean shop that you wouldn't mind sending your family too. Everything was done before the expected time frame. Excellent work with very fair prices. read more

Absolutely fantastic group of people. Very detail oriented and explained in detail. Very happy with the service we received.

Drove from Sacramento to LAX to pick up my friend who flew in from Massachusettes for some Joshua tree camping! Dragged a rock for companionship on the trip and my car was making a terrible, terrible noise. I PACKED my schedule to the hour and did not anticipate this issue. I arrived at the shop around 1 on a Saturday with 3 different vehicles up in the bay. I was greeted by a man who politely listened to my frantic warbles and grabbed John for me. I was simply asking if John believed my car would make it back to Sacramento after I dropped my friend off at the airport. John could have totally turned me away as it was a weekend, last minute, with no clue what the problem could be. BUT NO, John is a go-getter! Like me!!! I'm sure he appreciates a challenge and dare I say, a surprise! This angel John disguised as a seasoned mechanic hopped in my car and immediately knew by what could only be described as divine intervention, that my exhaust was bent. John fixed this within 5 minutes. I made it home safe and now can write with confidence that I had a fantastic trip and I will never forget the hospitality shown by the people in the little town of Rosamond. :D read more

I have had my SUV (Dodge Durango) here a couple of times now. My SUV has over 300,000 miles on it and the guys there are doing an OUTSTANDING job of keeping it on the road for me! Each and every time I bring it in, I know I have left it in good hands. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable group of mechanics. Excellent estimates are provided each time (almost to the dollar a couple of times now for me.) Also, they do NOT treat my wife like she is just some dumb women. They take what she says seriously, which is very important to me. As far as I am concerned, they have a customer for life for ALL of my vehicles. read more

1 star bc i cant give it a 0. Dont go there go somewhere else save your money. Went there charged me $1000 for something they did not fix the first around made something up. Went there the second time around had to get a tow paid for the tow. Expert Automotives charged me again $200 for the second time around for a problem they did not fix the first time around. Dont go their dishonest and will rip you off. The only reason i went was for the fact there close to where i live go to someone else save your money and time. read more

After 6 months of driving my "new to me" car I brought it down to Expert for a tune up. Less than 15 minutes later I had a phone call from John telling us to come and pick the car up--it did not need ANYTHING. Any business that passes up the chance to make money when it has a no questions asked opportunity to do so displays integrity and deserves my trust AND loyalty. They have always come through for us over these past 15+ years. read more

This is the only place I trust with my vehicles. They are honest, upfront and professional. They don't try and sell me on repairs I don't need and that's important to me. I highly recommend their services. read more

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT!!!! These guys are the real deal!! I left Willow Springs race track and as I entered the highway my car blew a heater hose overheated. I made it back to town and from the moment I arrived at Expert Automotive, Inc I was treated like a family member. The mechanic and quite possibly the workshop foreman greeted me and had a quick look at my poor car with Sean coming out and lots of weird noises. He could see I was freaking out as I had to try and get back to Laguna Niguel that night. Unfortunately he couldn't do anything that day even if he wanted to as the engine was too hot and they were about to close. Alex suggested I grab a room at the little hotel around the corner and he'll call me in the morning. True to his word he called me this morning and told me the good news, the engine is fine and he'd have a new hose and have me on the road ASAP. I couldn't believe how cheap the bill was considering he went well out of his way to get ME going even though he had a completely full workshop! If you are ever in the area and need a mechanic, do yourself a favour and call these guys!!! Ask for Alex, he's an absolute champion!!!! read more

I couldn't get my Diesel repaired close to home but was referred to Expert and they didn't disappoint. The folks here took great care of me, they fit me quickly into their full schedule even after I had to tow my truck here from the Ram dealership. Their prices are very affordable (less than half what the dealership wanted) and they did a great job communicating with me throughout the short time it was in their shop. A big THANK YOU to John, Paul and all his staff! read more

The guys here are awesome! I took my car to a different shop (firestone) to get inspected and found out I had a leaking water pump and valve cover gasket. I have nothing but praise for this shop. I went in on a Saturday, with no appointment to have an oil change and see if they could install side steps on my Ford F250, I figured the oil change would be able to get done but the side steps would have to be scheduled. I needed the truck back by noon, and was their about 9 am. First he remembered me from over 5 years ago, I recently got my license back after losing it due to medical reasons. He thought he would be able to get it done in the time I needed it. by 11:15 am he was done and I was on my way. I will mention I had a quote from Pepe Boys to install the side steps and that was $150 dollars, Expert charged me $80.00, almost half. Great Service at Great Prices. I will be back for any work I need. read more

John is a top notch mechanic he's one of those guys who does not pad the bill and that is why we like him. I had my catalytic converters replaced on my S10 from an exhaust shop and that shop said it was a leak in the exhaust gasket manifold. I called Expert Automotive and they told me how much it was going to cost but sometimes there are other complications when replacing the gasket. So I got some time off work and dropped it of. They gave me a quote and said remember it might be more. I live in town and the owner offered to give me a ride home. The next day they gave me a call and said it was done. Turns out there was another gasket leaking which was making all the noise. It was a simple fix and cost less then half what the quoted me on!!! I got a business card from them and its on my fridge for when I have problems in the future. read more

I had this shop replace the rack and pinion, and front brakes on my pickup a few months ago and am pleased with how everything went. Waiting room was clean and there was an overall professional look and feel about the place. Before the work I took my truck in and had it evaluated. They gave me a couple of options regarding the quality of parts, I could go with poor quality cheap parts or superior quality parts for more money. I went went the latter and then researched the parts online when I got home and found they were the best money could buy aside from the original manufactures stuff. With all the cheap import parts on the market I really liked the fact that these guys offered the option between low or high quality parts. It let me decide what was best for me. read more
