Was super excited for the degustation with matching wines. While food was ok, it was just that. Ok. The matching wines were coming out 10mins after the courses. So I asked if they could come just before, so then they came 15mins before. For $150 (with wines) I expected better dishes. It was also very slow, for 6 dishes it was 3.5 hours!!!! The dishes looked gorgeous but were just lacking.

Beautiful pasta and gnocchi. A pretty good location in Norwest right by the lake. Service was friendly and the wait time was quick! Price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. We would definitely go again.

What a great service and most important what a great food!!! We went to this restaurant tonight for my daughters Birthday dinner. Staff was excellent how they served us and the way they presented each dish!!! I was surprised by high level of presentation and test of their dishes! Highly recommended to visit this place if you are looking for great view, excellent and fast service and oh! Tasty dishes! For entrée we ordered calamari and prawns in separateplates-yamm, our main dishes Lamb, beef, pasta, fish, were brought in short time and in a big good portion, so any man would be happy to feel full tommy:)) They have good and well organised menu list which we could choose variety of entrées, mains and drinks with family of 6 person:) Also, I have to say this was weekday evening and restaurant was full , I previously booked the table before to come, I can imagine how full it's on weekends , so better to book first to be sure there won't be any disappointment:) Hope you will find my review useful

These guys are awesome... I was visiting my sister in Sydney Australia, all the way from Phoenix…read moreArizona, and have heated of these guys but never seen them, so they were in Lidcomb (I think) one weekend in June (freezing cold) and we went and saw them. They know how to put up a show. Lines were long and it was worth it. We get out order in and the guys are nice, friendly, with a huge smile and huge beards (just like me). They sing and dance and and bake our favorite middle eastern desert "knafeh". Now the food....I've never had Jerusalem style Knafeh, I've had of course the Armenian style called (ghadayef) also the Egyptian style which is called (basboosa) and the Jordanian and Lebanese style. I know some may say they're different but in many ways (to me) the idea is the same. This type of knafeh I had was a very good knafeh, for a food truck baking it fast, but it wasn't the best. Still we went back the next day, we got some more and their tea that they prepare omg is so good. Go for the dance, the atmosphere, the fun times, and also the knafeh. It's really good. Can't wait to come back to Sydney and Experience them again. May be they should come to Phoenix. #TheBeardedArmenian

Can we all agree that it's an outdoor family club that serves delicious dessert!?…read more I came here on a Saturday night, and holy what a scene! It was packed with people waiting in line, eating and simply there enjoying the music and entertainment. These long bearded men know how to throw a party. The music was loud, all the workers were dancing as well as the crowd that was around. This place attracted people from all ages with different diversities and backgrounds. It was something very different from what I've ever experienced, especially when there's only 3 things on the menu! 1 that's actually edible - their knafeh. The knafeh ...where do I begin. That sweeeet sweet cheese dessert!! It was almost like a more textured, creamier but lighter version of a creme brulee. It's a little sugar heavy so I would recommend sharing it with another person unless you have a major sweet tooth then you'll easily demolish this. It was simple and delicious - and to only have that on the menu they are definitely doing something right. If you haven't tried it - definitely go before they move to a different location! It's $8 you will not regret.

We asked the staff for some water for the table .. and the staff said to us "we don't have water,…read moreyou can order drinks" I found it strange that this place doesn't offer water and that you need to order drinks if you are thirsty ..This is the first restaurant/ cafe I've been to that do not provide any water for free especially when I did already order a decent amount of dessert. That's besides the fact that the dessert was already sweet enough, and I really just wanted sine water to help wash it down. The food otherwise was decent, just didn't like the server's attitude.

Two levels with a large number of tables and chairs. For us it was a quiet night but I dare not imagine what it would be like with a packed house. Nothing really stuck out for me about the aesthetics of the place. The colours, artwork and architecture all just bled into the background. When it comes to dessert cafes you need it to be bold and create all the right impressions. Ordering is done at the counter. I'm surprised that a place like this doesn't have table side service. I needed a map to find the bathrooms, one second I'm walking upstairs and then I'm by the crepe counter on the ground floor... where am I?! The food is pricey but that being said the quality and quantity definitely reflects what you pay for. You won't be leaving hungry, the amount of ice cream and other flavoured yummies is just unbelievable. Between three people we spend around $100 and that's not including drinks. Speaking of drinks, we requested a jug of water and our waitress informed us that if we wanted water we'd need to buy bottled water. This is a bit harsh but chocolate and sugar makes you thirsty and the cafe wants their drinks profits. The ordered a spinach crepe ($18.90) and a NY Grilled 3 Cheeses ($8.50). The crepe was very tasty and soft, the salad that came with it had so much dressing on it that it was inedible. The NY Grilled 3 Cheese was okay, nothing to really write home about. The stars of the meal was the desserts. A 5th Ave NY and an Oreo Crepe. The 5 Ave came in a massive goblet glass, the amount of ice cream and waffle was extraordinary. The Oreo Crepe was out of this world, with rich melted white and milk chocolate and Oreo cookie dust. Was it a great dessert? You bet ya. Did anything else really stand out to us? Not really. The staff were friendly but we didn't really feel welcomed. When I notice this I always look towards the management, enough said. When I'm paying through the nose for an amazing meal, I also want an amazing experience to go with it. Come for the dessert and stay for the dessert.

Service was okay. Nothing to brag about. Stay in Australia long enough, you get use to it. Not bad actually. It was a warm day, we decided to sit outside to enjoy what warmth we could get. Many tables were available. Not surprising as it was after the lunch crowd, mid week. The latte here are really good too. As I was enjoying this cup, I was listening to report stating the world demand for coffee outweighs the production. It is predicted in 50 years coffee will be no more. This is a real dilemma for manu Aussies who enjoy coffee. In fact, stand in any corner of the street you sill see a coffee shop within eye sight. In the city it's not uncommon to see 3 to 4. The strawberry chocolate dip was decadent. The chocolate was rich, smooth creamy, not overtly sweet and deliciously good. Dipping the strawberry, it is such a great combination. After the fruit was gone there was still a bit of chocolate left. It was finger lickin' good. Yup, it's not just chicken that can get that phrase. When in the Rouse Hill Mall, and you need a break, have some coffee and chocolate here. Especially the coffee. Before it becomes extinct.

Had dinner somewhere in the shopping centre and decided to have some chocolate goodness to finish off the night. Walked in and it was quite but something about it made it feel more deserted than quite. The tables with filthy dried chocolate and spilled everything all over them. But I got over that and went to order, which to my surprise was reasonably priced compared to max Brenner. Got the waffle and chocolate classic and hot chocolate, was pumped to dig into it on a cold winters night! But it was luke warm and the chocolate was just that as well. The ice cream came with it and tasted like home brand and pretty much just split when my spoon came near it. I would never normally leave half an uneaten waffle lonely on the table..but I had to this time. Instead cradling my hot chocolate which was pretty good but as for everything else..was bit of a let down unfortunately. I wanted to love it but MB will be my choc shop for crisp winters night to come.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the place is packed to capacity; we were kindly greeted and sat down with menus. We both had heard about the "freakshakes" and so 2 freakshakes were on our agenda. The 2 freakshakes came out. The golden gaytime shake and the chocolate volcano. Where to begin; saw the staff walking out and these shakes were massive and filled with toppings. The golden gaytime was a mix between a golden gaytime and an iced coffee; and don't forget the donuts!. The other was a choc shake with a chocolate soufflé on top, so tasty, warm and gooey! Everything you want in a good shake was there. The freakshakes are a MUST. Shorty after we ordered our mains; a lamb and pumpkin salad spread and a delicious Dean! The staff throughout the whole visit were quick, friendly and suggestive. They knew the menu well. Whilst we were still finishing our shakes, the meals came out, the presentation was impeccable. Great spread of food and was excited to dig in. The lamb was very tender and the other flavours on the dishes came out strongly, pumpkin, beetroot and the dressing. The other dish, was tasty, the poached egg was just right and had a great flavour with the basil pesto and the prosciutto. After having two extremely satisfying meals here and great service. Will be here again.
