Went there last night for Sunday dinner, this was my second time at TreVi and once again loved my meal. I got Pan-Seared Salmon with smoked tomato vinaigrette (with wild mushroom and asparagus risotto) - it was outstanding! We got a bunch of shared appetizers, Crustini bread (with bruschetta, olives, roasted beats), Brussel Sprouts, Gnocchi in wild mushroom and cream sauce, and a Gorgonzola & Pear pizza. Everything I had was good; you can definitely taste the difference in the fresh ingredients they use vs. some other restaurants. For dessert I got coffee and Tiramisu. I will definitely be back again to try more things from the menu (last time I had Spaghetti & Meatballs and liked them a lot too). **I just read a comment complaining that they ran out of pizza dough last Friday night... for whatever it's worth - that happens from time to time at ALL of the best pizza places in & around Philadelphia... like Tacconelli's (Best of Philly multiple times). I wouldn't bash a place for running out of a menu item if it's something they're especially known for.** Anyway, i'll definitely go back to TreVi, I liked it a lot! read more

Love eating here. The food is authentic and fresh! They even make homemade wine. My favorite dish is the stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat.

I have read so many rave reviews, had to throw in my 2 cents. Service was great! Very attentive. Very personable young lady Crab tomato soup was very good, great tomato flavor, not overly fishy topnote Caesar salad was good. Crispy and very tasty dressing, perfect Parmesan balance Chicken Parmesan was good, but not the best I have had by far. Pasta was good Side of sausage(broccoli rabe) was very disappointing. No Caramelization lack of depth of flavor. Should be such a simple dish Spaghetti and meatballs was good. Red sauce was good but once again not the rave that so many mentioned. Meatballs were good Chicken Marsala was by far the most flavorful of what was ordered, but the portion was smaller Poppers with prosciutto was very disappointing Zeppoli was not close to what it should be. They were dense, greasy and way too much sugar We had hoped this would be the hidden gem. I would say it is good, perhaps very good if you are not very well traveled read more

I went here maybe 1 month ago with a friend of mine.I like the fact that it is a byob. The restaurant is nice. The hot wings were good but not the pizza. It is thin crust and tasty like card board with a small amount of awful sauce and cheese.I am happy for the discount because I paid on groupon.I doubt if I will return. read more

I LOVE Tre Vi. I have never been welcomed by such a warm, informed, and well groomed staff. they know exactly what it takes to prepare, inform, and serve customers about what Tre Vi has to offer. In the heart of Glenside, tucked away on Glenside Ave, is might possibly the best Italian I have ever had in the surrounding area. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is to die for. I have been here many times and have never had a bad meal. The Waiters and Waitresses know the food so well that I wanted to try all of the specials as they described them. I have never had an experience like Tre Vi. It is an all around fantastic home cooked Italian meal. I cannot pinpoint a specific dish as I have tried almost all of them and equally love their texture and flavors. But you MUST try the fried ravioli as an appetizer and smother each on in their marinara sauce. Also the Gnocchi is always a favorite of mine. Will be returning to stuff my face with more amazing food! read more

Great service, great food. Perfect upstairs spot for larger groups! Seafood lasagna portion was huge and the pizzas are thin crust, done well and delicious. read more

I put this first review on FB after one visit. This is why, I felt bad that someone gave them such a bad review as their experience did not even come close to matching mine. I almost did not believe they were talking about the same place and that is not good for any business. By the time I posted this review to Yelp I have had diner here twice and had nothing but a great experience both times. It is the sum of the experiences that matters. Consistency is the true rubric on which all things should be graded, and these good people are two for two with me. They seem genuine, hardworking and have a real culinary gift. So the following is a slightly edited repost from FB, after that repost I have included my recount of my second visit: From FB: "All I can say is "Wow". Great food, the Penne Seafood Bolognese was perfect. I heard from a friend that they make Mozzarella on the premises so I really wanted to check this place out, fantastic job, you can tell they put a lot of love into their work. My daughter tried the 4 cheese pizza (Quattro Formaggi), it was spot on. The service was up to par, I had no problem here, they were attentive and timely with everything. When I saw Ed's review I was a little leery, when I read Debi's comments I thought she had a good experience because her pic would indicate that she was a young girl. (I'm just saying.) Look, I'm a 40 something year old guy, I had no issues with service. I can't remember my server's name, but everything was truly enjoyable. No one is perfect, everyone has bad days, I'll go back again, and if the experience is bad, I'll adjust the review, but truly this is a great place to eat and they have my full endorsement, for what that is worth." So I went back again. This time I stuck with the Gourmet Pizza, I really like pizza, good pizza and this pizza exceeded my expectations. It was almost accidental that my daughter originally picked this on my last visit, so I ordered a Quattro myself. The wife was feeling adventurous and ordered the Red, White and Green. Done and done, both pizzas came out looking great, and more importantly tasting great. We even brought some home as my daughter would not have let it go, had I not. This is upscale, consistently good food, and again the service was spot on. So 2 for 2, definitely try this place. read more

We love the food and service here. Glad to see a good Italian restaurant return to Glenside since Rizzos shut down. Be sure to ask for Sean

dammit, there's now a corking fee for the wine! i'm tempted to dock a star, but i still really like the food and staff. but comeon, corking fee? hella lame. ps - please fix the spice jar situation!!! read more

This is the 2nd time I ordered the seafood florentine soup & the 2nd time it came with barely any seafood. The rigatoni & crabmeat had frozen crabmeat. Dirty flowers in dirty water is a pet peeve of mine. Stick w/the pizza. read more

I really love this place. It's locally owned and medium sized. The ambience is warm, inviting, and "nice casual". Families with kids as well as people celebrating birthday dinners are common. A few years ago I didn't want to like this place because I liked rizzos so much but I'm a convert now. Their marinara sauce is exactly how I like it--chunky, savory, tangy and always a lot of it on the pasta. Calamari is delicious too. Trevi is my go-to Italian place now. Byob is a plus! read more

We have eaten at Trevi many times and never failed to have a wonderful dining experience. The food here is the best Italian cuisine I have found anywhere in the country. It's a local, hometown place and the prices are reasonable. A must visit in this area. read more

We ate at the newly-opened Trevi Restaurant on Glenside Avenue last Thursday, and it was terrific. The space has been completely redone from its days as Rizzo's and feels much larger and more open. A new mural depicting the Trevi Fountain in Rome covers one wall, and the overall effect is modern, clean, and expansive. The food was consistently well-executed. My husband had the mixed greens salad with house dressing (a lively vinaigrette) and the egg pappardelle with bolognese sauce. He pronounced it spectacular, with perfectly-cooked noodles and just enough of the rich sauce to coat. I enjoyed an arugula salad with walnuts and "tomato raisins" (grape tomatoes dried slightly to enhance their flavor) dressed in a light lemon vinaigrette, and the 12" house margherita pizza. The pizza was simply delicious, with a slightly-chewy-but-still-crispy wood-fired crust, very fresh tomato sauce, basil and fresh mozzarella cheese browned to perfection. I ate three quarters of that pizza all by myself, and there was still enough for my husband to take for lunch the next day. We didn't think we would get dessert, but seeing that the tiramisu was served in a small cup we figured we could share without getting overly full. The coffee was very good as well. They did only have two dessert options on the night we dined, and it would be nice to see a dessert special or third regular dessert to round out the choices in future. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the waitstaff were very professional and knowledgeable about all items on the menu. Their full menu is up on their Facebook page, with website coming soon. Trevi is byob (we did), and the prices are very reasonable. Our meal was just $43 before tip, and we left feeling happy and satisfied. We are so glad to see life returning to a space that holds such happy memories for so many people in the area! We look forward to our next meal at Trevi. P.S. Anyone who remembers the scungy old bathrooms at dear departed Rizzo's will be VERY impressed with Trevi's updated facilities! read more

Visited Trevi for dinner before a show at the Keswick. Restaurant is informal with a full menu and its BYOB. Waitress was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. Enjoyed an arugula salad with pears and walnuts and a Tomato Pie with mushrooms and peppers. Salad was large enough for the two of us and very fresh. Loved the pizza. Thin crust perfectly cooked and the sauce was very tasty. Highly recommended and very reasonably priced. read more

This is one of those restaurants you wish you had a half star rating. They are not a three but they are not a four. The inside is decorated in calm green colors. It looks spacious compared to the previous restaurant. By going from booths to tables it opens the space up a ton. The place is usually busy and is fine for a local Italian place. The staff were friendly and prompt with service. I was impressed our waitress put up with our demands. We have a 5 year old and had to do some things to accomodate him, more on that later. We came for a dinner on a very hot night. Our party of 3 adults and 1 child ordered a variety of items. We had crab cake, pasta, soup and a panini. I ordered the panini with goronzola and proscuitto. It came with an argula salad on the same plate. The gorgonzola overwhelms the rest of the sandwhich. The proscuitto was too thin or not enough placed on it to make itself a note in the flavor. The bread seemed to be oily which made it less appealing, tasted like an olive oil The bread was crisp. The salad, was nicely dressed in a vinagrette of some kind. The soup was ordered for the 5 year old. He loves soup. We ordered a bowl instead of a cup. That was a mistake on our part. Because it was too hot for a 5 year old to eat, and he was starving. We had to request a smaller bowl to transfer the soup into, so it would cool faster. They complied with the request. And also the request of a small bowl of parmesian cheese. He also loves that. He had a tomato and crab soup which was good. There is no kids menu, so you have to be creative. The other dishes there were no complaints on, but I did not try at all. The crab cake was clearly home made and was cooked to perfection. The pasta also looked fresh and was an ample size. It came with grilled chicken. It is not too pricey. Expect a long wait if you come during peak times. For dessert we ordered a canoli and an amaretto bread pudding. The waitress offered the adults a choice of a shot of amaretto or kahlua or something like that. I did not know it was FREE. But, thought it would go well to order a shot for my bread pudding. It was more than a shot of alcohol. The bread pudding was delicious and clearly had the amaretto flavor. I'd suggest some additional nuts in it for texture or a sauce of some kind. The canoli's were quickly eaten by people at the table. So they were good quality and delicious. I'd recommend going again for a family outing. They do have a variety of Italian from Pizza, Pasta and Panini's to eat. I will not order a panini again. The other meals looked to be better options. read more

I'm not sure why I gave it another chance but I did. It took almost 50 minutes for pick up. Over priced for the low quality if the food. I mean how can you screw up pizza? This place is trying to be something it's not. Its just a below average pizza shop with above average prices. read more

I dined at Trevi, which is a byob, on a Wednesday evening with my sister in law. It's a bit hard to find, but I had a great experience overall! My sister in law had been to Trevi several times in the past, and this was my first time here. I started with one of their specials for the day: a parsnip soup with an orange and red pepper jelly. Not as creamy as it looked, but really tasty. She started with the spinach salad, which she's had before and really liked. She ordered the gnocchi with pancetta and peas, and we also shared the prosciutto pizza, which was a margherita pizza with prosciutto, fresh arugula, and basil. They had an option to put eggs on top, so I had to get it like that. Our starters came out quickly, but our food took about 20-30 minutes to come out after we had finished our starters, so I took away one star for that. I tried the gnocchi, which I usually don't like, but it was really good! Pillowy soft in a nice buttery garlic sauce. The pizza was great too, a thin, crispy crust with the perfect amount of ingredients. It looked so good that a couple next to us asked us how it tasted. Overall, I had a great experience at Trevi, and I look forward to coming back and trying something else on their menu. read more

Food was average. Good olive snd bread. Service was bad. Order was wrong. Will not go back.

The concept is there, but they just need to tweak a bit. I grew up in Rizzo's (Grandfather is Lou Rizzo) and it was hard for me to return here. I think with time this will be a great place. Best of luck and here's to many years of business. read more

We went here on a Thursday night to order take our. We got a large pepperoni pizza and a cup of the crab soup. Both were really good. The pizza was more of a traditional style which we were looking for and the sauce was great. My soup was a little salty but still very good. We can't wait to come back and sit down. Everyone who handled our order was very nice read more

Always great authentic Italian food. Love this little BYOB. We come here as often as time allows. Come on over immediately.

What a great Italian restaurant!! Food is awesome! Service is top notch! We found a little gold mine in Glenside!!

Went on a Saturday night prior to a show at the Keswick Theater. This restaurant occupies the old Rizzo's location. Rizzo's was a Glenside institution which can't be replaced. That being said, TreVi is an all around solid restaurant. This was my first visit. The restaurant has been remodeled and has a nice ambiance. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive and did a great job. The four of us split caesar salads, chicken parmesan and a plain pizza. The pizza is thin and crispy and cut into squares. The food was all delicious. I would definitely return and recommend you visit. By the way, saw comedian Demetri Martin who was hilarious. Keswick is a good venue! read more

My wife and I ate at Trevi last night. It is truly a great Italian restaurant. The pizza was delicious, the pasta was delicious and the waitress was very attentive. We have eaten here three times previous and have never had a bad meal or experience. I highly recommend. read more

Exceptional for a neighborhood restaurant! As a serious pizza aficianado who has traveled to Connecticut just for Pepe's Pizza, this place is incredible. Their pies are delicious (try their white clam pie). Their homemade pastas are terrific, the portions generous, and the staff warm and inviting. The decor is old school, a bit cheesy, but warm nonetheless. It's not about a fancy night out, it's all about honest, good food, served by people who genuinely care. BYO is a plus as well. Enjoy! read more

Can't wait to go back!! Cute family operated BYOB with friendly staff, fair prices, fresh ingredients, good portions and great food. 4 of us dined and all very much enjoyed. Looking forward to trying again the Pizzas looked amazing. read more

Have had dinner twice here in the last few weeks and both times the food has been fantastic. Seafood bolognese and Ziti with crab were amazing, as was the ravioli with gorgonzola sauce and a pesto pasta with sausage. Nice desserts and apps too. Lovely staff who are welcoming and attentive. They have a great weekday deal for families- for $32 you get family style pasta, family style chicken parm or other entree, and a large pizza. feeds four easily. my kids loved it. I don't post often on yelp but have been really impressed. High quality, reasonably priced food and BYOB, in Glenside!! YEY. read more

Well worth a stop. They make their own mozzarella so the caprese or fried mozzarella are great starts. The salads are excellent and the chicken parm is delicious. Big portions, great prices and a BYO. Highly recommend. read more

We had a Groupon so we thought we would try it. Service was great. Atmosphere is pleasant. We shared a tomato pie and a Mediterranean salad. The salad was so large, fresh and deicious that we barely touched the tomato pie. The shrimp on the salad were perfectly seasoned and grilled. The crabmeat was wonderful. The tomato pie was great. It reheated well at home too. We will definitely be back. read more

Stopped in around 7 pm on a Sunday night with my sister. Service was great, the place is spacious and pretty. There was an interesting mix of casual families and well dressed older couples. We had the tomato and crab soup it was excellent! We split the crustini trio (good) and the special mushroom pizza (very good, love that thin crunchy crust) as well as an order of cannolis. The soup and dessert were outstanding. All in all it was a great meal and reasonably priced (less than $40 and plenty of food to spare). We will certainly be back. read more

Love this place! It's deceptively small from the outside, but once you walk in it's surprisingly spacious throughout. The staff is VERY friendly and is always down with engaging in small talk and taking care of the customers! I have tried numerous dishes, my favorite of which is the standard spaghetti and meatballs which is made to perfection. Their Traditional Pizza is absolutely spectacular, made with some sort of oils and fresh cheeses. It's truly a masterpiece and I make sure to have some whenever I pay them a visit. They also deliver, which is fantastic. My ONE problem with Trevi actually has nothing to do with their food. It's their hours of operation, which are somewhat sparse to say the least. They are closed on Monday's and don't open during the week until 4PM. So lunch is pretty much out. It's almost like every single time I have a craving for Trevi I am stuck wanting! But based on the food and service, it's fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough, give it a shot! I don't think you will leave disappointed! read more

I have only been there twice and probably will never go back. The food was just meh and was very overpriced. In my opinion Glenside does not need a fancy pizza place they just need a good old fashioned pizza joint like the very missed Rizzo's. read more

Went to Trevi tonight with the hubby. Had to write a review! This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the area. We've been here countless times. It's good home style Italian American food. There are always fantastic specials. Pizza is great. Desserts home made. I love the pasta- house gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce. The service is great. Our waiter Luke is excellent- very hospitable and remembers us when we come in. Trevi is definitely a gem for the area. It's family friendly or great for date night. BYOB. read more

We went here last night before a show at the Keswick. They were very friendly and helpful and our waitress made sure we got out in plenty of time for the show. It's a little diamond in Glenside. Staff is fantastic, food is excellent, and it's a local owned business to boot. We have eaten here about five times now, and fall more in love each time. I've eaten here three times with only having entrees once. The other 2 times were for pizza only which I thought- you can't go wrong with pizza...right? I had the smoked traditional pizza- tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella and basil pesto. The smoked mozz is just waaay too smoked (I was expecting the hint of smoked flavor) and isn't complimented by their sauce. The sauce would be great on pasta but on the pizza it's just too thick and chunky. I could barely get two slices down and no one else in my family liked it. The margharita is OK but it's more sauce than cheese which is OK with me but kids want cheese-not sauce. My first visit over a year ago was a sit down dinner with entrees which were okay but nothing special. I wish I could say that it was better and root for the small restaurant but I can't. I went back after my family really didn't care for it hoping to prove them wrong but this just didn't do it for us. read more
