First time here and it was a great experience. Ashley was great at welcoming and working in my face . I loved the experience and definitely will be making it a routine to come here read more

I went to Treasure Rare in Brea, CA, and honestly, I feel like I was fooled and pressured into spending money on products I didn't want or need. I originally saw their ad on Facebook offering a $60 facial, so I decided to give it a try. However, I ended up spending $120 for the facial, and I honestly did not see any significant difference afterward. The only thing I noticed was that my skin felt cleansed. In my opinion, it was nothing that I couldn't have done myself at home as part of my normal skincare routine. They basically used products such as moisturizer and Vitamin C--products that are already commonly used in a regular skincare routine. What really upset me was the amount of pressure I felt to purchase their products. Michael was very persistent about selling me additional products, and it felt less like a facial experience and more like a sales pitch. The selling tactics and pressure made me feel uncomfortable, and I eventually felt like I was being pressured to buy something just so I could leave. I walked out feeling like I had been fooled, and I regret spending the money. I'm sharing my experience because I don't want someone else to go through the same thing. Please be cautious and don't feel pressured to purchase anything you don't want or need. I spent $1000 and plus $120 for facial. read more

I responded to an an ad on FB for a "Non-surgical Facial for $69". Facial was great. Afterwards a high-pressure saleslady talked me into buying 3 Non-surgical facials for $120 each. $69 + $360= $429. I was charged $480 and I just saw the mistake this week. So Treasure Rare owes me $51. There's more details I wont go into here. I talked to saleslady on 9/8 to find out what happened. She said, "I'll talk to my manager and call you back." I called again to speak to manager. Left a detailed message... no call back. After the first facial, the next ones were not as good as the first and although the confirmation says 1.5 hr treatment, the esthetician was done with facial in less than 1 hour, then would walk out the room. Treasure Rare's businesses practices are lacking and I no longer trust this place to do what they advertise. read more

I had a really nice experience at Tresure Rare Skin Spa in Brea and would definitely recommend them. The actual facial was amazing! The atmosphere is calm and private, the staff is very friendly, and my technician did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was so relaxed by the end that I was practically ready to fall asleep! The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the upselling. Chloe came in before my facial to analyze my skin and make recommendations, which I understand, but I had specifically booked the Korean facial and felt like I was immediately being encouraged toward other services. Then, after my facial, she came back in and recommended additional products and even what I believe was one of their handheld skincare devices. I completely understand that this is a business and recommending products and services is part of that, but it took away from an otherwise relaxing spa experience. It reminded me of having a wonderful dinner with a big group and then the check arrives--suddenly the fun is over and everyone is figuring out the bill. I was relaxed and sleepy, and suddenly I was back in sales mode. They do an excellent job marketing themselves on Instagram--that's actually how I found them--and the facial itself lived up to what I saw. I would absolutely return and recommend them, just with a little warning: expect some upselling. If that part were toned down, this could easily be a five-star experience. read more

Facial was relaxing and nice so when she said she was done, I could go in the restroom and change back into my shirt fix my hair. There were no mirrors and there was a big bag on the floor very unprofessional. And then they were supposed to take after photos the guy never did that so I wasn't 100% happy plus when I got home, I had a little white things on my face so I had to take a washcloth and wash off my face. The girl that did the facial didn't even ask me any questions if I liked it, which was kind of strange read more

What an amazing experience I had here! Found the ad on instagram and so glad I booked a facial. I've lost over 60lbs and my face has some sagging Michael showed me exactly what to do to stay youthful and hydrated. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to invest in themselves. The entire staff was remarkable read more

I booked an appointment after seeing a promotional ad for a nonsurgical face lift on Facebook, but the experience immediately felt unprofessional and concerning. After booking, I received a text message asking me to confirm the appointment at 12:04 AM. While a confirmation text itself would have been fine, what made me uncomfortable was receiving two phone calls around 12:20 AM. I rejected the first call because it was after midnight, but then I received a second call right after. I found it very strange and inappropriate to be contacted repeatedly that late at night for an appointment confirmation. It made me feel uncomfortable and unsure about the legitimacy and professionalism of the business, so I decided to cancel. I did not go through with the service, so I cannot speak on the treatment or results. My review is based strictly on the communication experience before the appointment, which alone was enough for 1 star. read more

Great facial, but be prepared for heavy sales pressure I found Treasure Rare through an Instagram promotion, and even though I couldn't explain it, I felt a little skeptical going in. The shop itself is cute and located near the mall, and everyone was friendly. Gabby did an amazing job on the facial -- she was gentle, professional, and the treatment itself felt wonderful. A few things still felt off to me. There were no mirrors in the restroom or the facial room, which made me feel like they controlled exactly what they wanted me to see. They took a before-and-after photo, but the "after" picture looked filtered. When I got to my car, my face didn't look like it did in the photo. Later at home, when I wiped off the leftover lotion, it seemed like there was a tint to it -- almost like something was added to make my skin look more even. Another thing that surprised me: when the facial ended, no one told me it was over. There was no "you're all set" or "we're finished." I was just lying there until the sales rep walked in, which felt abrupt and confusing. And that's where the experience really shifted. The last 15 minutes were full of extremely high-pressure sales tactics. It went from relaxing to uncomfortable very quickly. I heard the usual lines like "I've never seen results like this before," "You're my last model," and "I can give you a special discount." They were very kind and made me feel good about myself, which I appreciated, but the sales pitch was way over the top and honestly took away from the experience. I'm not saying don't go -- the facial itself was great. Just be prepared for a strong sales push at the end, because I had no idea it was coming. read more

I booked a promotion I found on instagram and received multiple texts confirming my appointment, but when I arrived, they had no record of it. They still agreed to see me, which I appreciated. The facial itself was ok nothing special. Their space looked nice but the aggressive sales pitch really took away from the experience. Overall, I didn't enjoy my visit. Between the confusion about my appointment, the lackluster facial and the over-the-top sales tactics, I wouldn't recommend this place read more

I went to Treasure Rare in Brea after seeing an advertisement for a facial. The facial itself was really good, and I enjoyed the treatment while I was there. Unfortunately, once I got home, I noticed that the results had already faded, which was disappointing. What I didn't enjoy was the very strong sales pressure afterward. I understand that businesses offer additional treatments and products, but I felt like I was being pressured to spend thousands of dollars on services that I simply cannot afford and, honestly, would not choose to spend that much on. I think the facial was a nice experience, but I would have preferred a more relaxed, no pressure approach when it came to the additional sales. I'm glad I tried it, but I personally would not return. read more

I very rarely take the time to write a review but after leaving this place, I felt compelled to tell other women to STAY FAR AWAY from this place. I've had facials before that were much better although the gal who performed it was friendly, I felt that from the moment I walked in, aside from her, it was a swindle job. First this was, they took my "before" picture with me sitting straight up. The intention was to see all 48 years of my sagging skin and point out what could be fixed. In between people coming in and out of the room, I noticed a camera in the corner of the room which creeped me out. Then, the facial began. The products they used felt like a disgusting layer of gooey snot on my face. Then the main guy "sales guy" came in. Don't know or think he was a doctor but in he came, as smooth as a snake. First thing he does is lay me down so that my head was back as though sitting in a dentist chair and took the "after" photos. Telling me how wonderful I looked now because of the products instead of the REALITY that GRAVITY was smoothing out any visible wrinkle in addition to having a thick layer of goop to make my face look like I was covered in Vaseline. Now, came the sales tactic. He first quoted my $15K for this machine he used and when I laughed, he said he would give it to me for $3500 on some special deal he "only" gives a certain number of people per day. blah, blah, blah. I told him I would have to talk to my husband about it because we talk about larger expenses prior to buying. I don't know why I said that, I should have just gotten up and walked out. I kick myself for not doing that. It was like being stuck in a nightmare and your feet don't move. Honestly, I just wanted to get out of there but was trying not to be rude. He then began to insinuate like we are poor and like my husband is so controlling over money that why I can't just drop $3500 like no big deal? He was trying to "mansplain" my finances to me and try to convince me to make a purchase behind my husband's back. How gross. I responded, we respect each other and talk about finances with one another on anything over $500. Again, I did not owe this man any explanation and again I kick myself and should have walked out. He said, Ok so I'll go out of the room and you can call your husband and talk with him about it. In the back of my mind, here I am just thinking he's just going to listen in of my phone conversation via his video camera in the corner of the room. This pissed me off. I thought, how many women who are entering Perimenopause or menopause who just don't feel as spry as they used to and are seeking out help to better themselves and be their best self only to come into contact with this sort of person 100% willing to take full advantage of them? It disgusted me. At that point, I FINALLY found my spine and got the hell out. My face felt so sticky and the first thing I did was get into my car find hand wipes to get this crap OFF. I immediately went home and washed my face and will never return. It legit just felt dirty. Women, do not get roped in by this crap. Do not agree to get on some payment plan with a high interest rate for this snake oil!!! read more

I love treasure rare. All the staff are very friendly and the facials are amazing. They make your face look brand new!

Beware of this place! I came for their on going promo in FB. They took before and after photo (after photo was heavily filtered). There was only 1 small mirror and the bathroom doesn't have any mirror (because I suppose they are not aware that we all have mirrors in our car and at home). Their promo doesn't even work! They filter your after photos making you believe that your skin cleared and the treatment worked! Anyways, I ended up returning a product that cost $199. And also asked them to cancel the future appointment that I was not aware they charged my credit card in advance. They gave me a hard time and asked so many questions until I finally told them, if they do not return my money, I will call my bank (military bank) and stop all the charges that they made and report it as fraud. They said they will return it. So I went back, there were 4 of them standing by the counter hovering over a single customer. They greeted me and asked why I was there and the moment that I said I needed to return a product, the lady who I was assuming was the manager barked at me, telling me, "sit down, I will get to you in 5 mins!" I told her do not bark at me. She was so confrontational and said that the 4 of them was servicing a single customer. Just please! Beware of their heavy sales tactics! Save yourself the stress and anxiety of dealing with these people! Go to a more reputable skin care clinic. The promo of $69. I ENDED UP WALKING AWAY PAYING THE. $250. ITS NOT WORTH IT! read more

I should have read the reviews before making an appointment here. I think this place is pretending to give facials but in reality just want to sell you their face wand and products. I think this place is a scam. They used facebook and IG to promote their clinic. It was heavily advertised as korean facials. I was getting facials as early as 18. I am in my 40's now so I know really well what facials entails. Went there labor day for my "korean" facial. They did skin analysis brought you to the room so their skin "specialist" could talk to you about treatment plan. She asked me if I wanted to include microdermabrasion to remove dead skin cells for additional $50. I agreed. Oh boy. What a waste of money. This is the first facial I got that didn't do any extractions whatsoever. They put the steam on to make it feel like a real facial but after that they just slather you with bunch of creams that is heavily perfumed and not in a good way. I smells like what old people use. No offense to the old people. After that they used their hand wand on your face over and over for a total of 15 minutes and viola facial is done. The technician couldn't even perform the proper face massage and improperly using the microdermabrasion machine. You should hold the skin with one hand and pull the microdermabrasion wand the opposite direction using the other hand. I don't know where you got your technicians and how you trained them but it was pretty bad. The best part is after your technician is done the "skin specialist" will come back to the room and do their sales pitch. The words that got me was "i will take you under my wings and let you take one of the face wands home today". I thought they are testing the wands and wants me to participate to check for effectivity. They have all 3 frames with QR codes that they will show you for scanning. One frame that will take you to FB to like their post. One frame for IG and one frame to take you to their website. She looked for the device and told me that i will get a discount. From a 8k wand to 3500. She asked me to put in my info then walla i bought myself a new wand. I feel liked i've been deceived and robbed. I wanted to like the device but it hurts so bad. The electrical current is a bit much plus in my opinion this is not even worth 3k. Medicube wand,in my opinion is way better than this. Now i am stuck with a 3k wand that I may not use again. It's a costly mistake needless to say but I am consulting with a lawyer for advice. Stay away from this place. Save your money. Go somewhere else. read more
