She mentioned all of the desserts were made in house, so I had to try their peanut butter chocolate dome. I decided to take it home, so she happily boxed it and gave me a bag as well. When I got home, I took half of it. It tasted like a mousse cake, which was creamy and chocolatly. The peanut butter inside was also very nice. I saved the other half the next day, and enjoyed every bite. The cake was about the size of the pastries at the Fresh Market, but a bit better quality. For 8 bucks, it was a nice splurge. I wish there was a small seating area to enjoy the pastrie at that stall, but I guess you could just sit on one of the seats at the market instead. I ended up up getting a box with 5 flavors - Red Velvet, Mango and Raspberry were a few of the flavors. I got them as a gift for my daughter and she LOVED them. She said they were some of the best she has had. She particularly enjoyed the fruit flavored ones. He even offered to slice the load of German bread, which I hadn't thought to ask. Great service. We ordered two almond croissants, a plain croissant, two cheese buns, a German bread, and a mini baguette. Everything tasted so good. Each item was wrapped separately and we were given three paper bags. The croissant was just like the ones we have had in France. It was crispy outside and so soft inside. The almond croissants had just the perfect amount of filling and topping. The cheese buns tasted so fresh and soft. We ended up returning a few days later. The lady who helped us this time didn't appear for some time. We stood alone in the front of the store for several minutes. She had us repeat our order three times, and again as she was throwing everything into one bag. It was such a different experience than our first visit. The almond topping got all over the cheese buns and plain croissant due to her jamming all six items into one bag. Fortunately, it was all still good, just a little weird to have the flavours all mixed together in such a way. Had that been our first experience, we may have not returned.
