Everything was beyond delicious--our guests kept going back for more! Before the wedding, she made the whole process so easy by offering five different cake tastings for us to pick up and try at home, which made choosing our flavor really fun and convenient. Her pricing is more than worth it for the quality, taste, and care she puts into her work. We also paid for delivery and setup, and she went above and beyond by placing a dozen cookies in each clear bag so our guests could take some home. On top of that, she surprised us with a mini heart-shaped cake to freeze for our one-year anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch we were not expecting. Cortne truly goes the extra mile. Everything was beautiful, delicious, and handled with so much care. We couldn't have asked for a better baker for our wedding!

I've been making them for 25 years and have never had an issue with heating chocolate melts like this, in a Pyrex dish on a double boiler on low. Well, this chocolate never got past the point of a peanut butter consistency. I let it cool and put it back in the bag to take back to this business. Annette herself came out and told me I did something to cause it to seize. I explained that I didn't, because I know how to melt chocolate as I've been doing it for 25 years. My mom for 35-40. We know how to work with chocolate. She wanted to demonstrate how to melt it for me (again, already know how, there is not time to stop and microwave small amounts of chocolate for 30 seconds and then stand there stirring it in a cup every few mins when you're mass producing homemade turtles. I acknowledged that she was able to melt it that way, but explained I was displeased with the product and wanted a refund. She smirked at me!! She stated she could never provide a refund as the health department wouldn't allow product to be returned to the store. Nobody said anything about returning it, throw it away!! I would hope to God she wouldn't resell it to someone! I'll throw it away, I'll whip it out into the field next to your business. I don't want it because it's not good product. I just asked for a refund so I could go buy some good chocolate to use. She is obviously not worried about making sure her customers are happy, because she wasn't worried about losing me as a customer. I will NEVER go back to this business. And I will let anyone who asks me to not use their business and why. Terrible customer service. Terrible first impression. This was my 1st and last time using them.

Mercedes was incredibly easy to communicate with; we e-mailed back and forth as well as spoke on the phone. She had me send pictures of ideas that my fiance and I were thinking about. We then set up an appointment and picked 3 flavors we wanted to try. She had the cutest and most delicious 'shooters' for us to try and talked in depth about variations we could make to flavors, design ideas and anything we asked as a question she did not hesitate to explain and answer. Buttercream and fondant are options, pricing isn't much different between the two. The pricing was very reasonable. We were so impressed with the fresh, moist, flavorful cake.
