My wife and I took a trip down to Hebron to try out Tres Amigos. Tres Amigos surprised me on several things. First of all, I could not get enough of their salsa. It was heavy on the vinegar and I loved the tanginess of the vinegar that gave it a bite at the end. Second, the queso was what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Third, I got the Gordo burrito. It's called Gordo for a reason but the meat you need to stuff it with for an upcharge is the carnitas. The carnitas are done extremely well as they are a solid pulled pork with a Mexican flair. I did think the sauces that topped the burrito were a little weak. My wife got enchiladas. They were pretty small but rather tasty. Overall, Tres Amigos was pleasing and I would return for the salsa and carnitas. read more

This place used to be great for Eating In or Take Out. Never any issues. Last 3 times I've ordered TAKE Out I've had to go back for half my order. Today when I went back. Everyone was crappy about it (why I'm updating my review). I just got home and they left the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese off of everything. Personally, plain tacos isn't my thing. So 2 trips and $ 60 dollars in the garbage. read more

Best Mexican food around! Frat prices, and perfect hours. The servers are always friendly and are always checking on the patrons to make sure they have everything they need. Even when they are short on help, the servers strive to keep up and maintain great service. I highly recommend Tres Amigos. read more

So Disappointed. Food was only OK. Portions are big and prices are reasonable, but the food is a step below Pepe's. Couldn't believe how cheap the margaritas were, then we tasted them. Margaritas are AWFUL. No alcohol, super sweet. Plus there is a long wait to get any drinks from the bar, at least on the day we went. Only one person making drinks in between waiting tables. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Hebron deserves a really good family type restaurant and this is not it. I would drive a few miles and go to El Jimador instead. Although the ride home may be tricky as their margaritas will knock you on your ass. read more

This restaurant is fantastic!! Their customer service is top notch and you always get a warm "Welcome" soon as you enter. The wait staff is always attentive and quick as they can be. I have had every dish they serve and I have yet to be disappointed. Their in-house, daily made salsa, guacamole and nachos are delicious flavorful. 4 stars for food and service. Zero stars for no masks. We have done carry out only since COVID came into our lives. Last time we ordered, I went in to pick up and NOT one of the employees was wearing a mask. Now, I know our fine ignorant governor declared that masks are no longer mandatory, but I've not encountered one business yet that doesn't still require them with ALL employees wearing them... until Tres Amigos. We like the food here a lot and the to-go orders are quick. But I will not give more stars because of a ridiculous cup near their register guilting people into tipping on to-go orders. It's fine to have a line on the receipt. It's another thing to to use (not so) subtle tactics to get a couple more bucks out of people. read more

I live in AZ so I was hoping this place would not disappoint. We ordered Shrimp Fajitas and Camarones ala Diabla. Both were delicious. The Diabla was super hot and flavorful. Excellent tortillas, beans and rice. Generous portions. Chips and Salsa/Pico were fresh and tasty. The most amazing part was I ordered at 7pm and picked up and was back home by 7:15. I'm giving this restaurant one star and that's because I have to give one so I'm able to write my review. Everything in the menu sounded good and they actually have food that some Mexican restaurants don't have. I order a torta de milanesa (breaded steak) it was hard to bite the meat and it was to over season the meat left a bad taste on my mouth, I also order a steak sope the dough was way to crispy and the people that really know how to do a sope they know is not fried, their so call steak was more like ground beef and the beans tasted right out of the can. To top it off I had a hair on my torta ( I have a picture to prove it) the waitress was nice and she was checking up on us to make sure we were ok I think that's the only good thing in this restaurant. read more

Our family loves Tres! The portions are a nice size, the prices good and the wait is generally not long at all. When we call for a to-go order it never takes more than 15 minutes. The only reason I did not rate the restaurant with five stars is because once you receive your food, there is not much follow up service for refills etc. read more
